Pego is about 1 hour from Valencia, located between a beautiful mountain range and the sea near the town of Denia , a port to the Balearic islands. great weather year around , and the all region has nice villages like Pedreguer, Jesus Pobre etc... i lived there 11 years and loved it...@@Karl__Pierre
I pay annual insurance 4k€ for owning a house here in 🇩🇰. Policy dont even includes watter piping, electricity etc. I would not mention about taxes. Go figure

I understand your question and imagine you are American. Race dynamics are much different in the USA vs Spain. Racism is purest in England and the English colonies. Not so in Spain. Will you find racists yes. But you certainly won't walk around feeling unsafe or less than due to race. Go there, visit, see for yourself just make sure you don't carry the weight of color that America has you carrying around. Leave that in the airport.

There are hardly any black people in Spain, it's a white country.
