This is a classic British loco 1950's( it was diesel hydraulic, not oil powered ) regarded as a classic here in the UK by rail buff's ! Good to see a 3 rail version.👀👍
I was wondering about that on transmission. It wasn't specific on a lot of the research I did. That's good know I can put that down in my specific sheet.

Cool loco! I had the opportunity to get this loco completely for free, but I overlooked it and passed on it. Definitely regretting it now!
You know I regret whatever happened to mine as a child. Now I'm replacing the set little at a time. These were great starter models.after almost these years they are still very collectable. It's a shame they had a very short production time frame. Still popular in the uk and other countries. I have found a source for them. More will be added to the line up over thus year,including the mk1 and mk2 coaches. Also located a gentleman in the uk that makes deatilparts for them.
