Hey, first off I appreciate the video. I was looking for content on this as it is my first time messing with a water heater aside from filling up kiddie pools with warm water (lol). I was able to follow what you were doing pretty easily but some suggestions for the newbies watching; 1. At the beginning, maybe provide a list of all suggested tools for the job so the viewers can gather them all up and be ready 2. Provide a step by step list as a visual and freeze it to the screen at the beginning so it is more easily followed 3. At 4:22 having audio commentary as to what you are loosening exactly 4. At 5:12 maybe give a reminder to shut off the gas first as this is a very dangerous step if not done properly 5. At 5:53 what did you remove and why? You were talking about the PVC tube right before so I was confused Anyway, great job, I actually used your video to get me through the whole process successfully and your next video for the install. Thank you
PEOPLE PLEASE DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT DO WHAT HE DID, THIS INSTALL IS SO WRONG. HE USED THE WRONG PIPE FOR THE EXPANSION TANK, HE USED BLACK PIPE THATS FOR GAS, THE WRONG GLUE, THATS CPVC YOU HAVE TO USE CPVC GLUE, YOU CANNOT USE PVC PIPE FOR THE T/P LINE. THAT HAS CONNECTION, THERES A REASON FOR A GAS SEDIMENT TRAP, PLEASE DO NOT CAP IT LIKE HE DID.
Great share. Builds confidence for the average home owner. Thanks.

Was very helpful thank you
The yellow L shape pipe fitting 90 degree. Is leaking a drop of water any idea what it could be or fix?
On my mobile home do I need to turn off the gas to the whole building or do I just turn gas off next to the water heater
where u get that table under the tank can u give me the link please
The table came under the tank when we bought the house brand new.
Legit with the Nissans.
Nice R32!
You just lost all creditably as a car car, by calling a flathead screwdriver a Phillips.
Nice job & cars though.....
