There are less than 5 airlines in China that can be defined as pure-regional, and some large airlines have their region branches. Yep. At this point, China Express (based in Chongqing), which is supposed to be the country’s largest regional airline, shouldn’t even be considered regional anymore. They now have plenty of A320 and A320neos in their fleet and even operates international flights within Asia with their A320s.

The standard livery of the "big 3" of China: CA CZ and MU are old-fashioned. However if you've seen the 787 of China Southern, A350 of Sichuan Airlines and many other airlines such as Hainan Airlines and Juneyao, you may change your mind
