I forget if it's in this video or another one I made. But, when I draw out a length of cord to string nunchaku, I use the length of one kun (or the length of your own forearm) and multiply that by four. That should be enough cord, with a little slack, to finish the job.
I don't measure the total rope. I spool out more than I need, and trim off the excess when I'm done. If I undo the nunchaku and measure the length, cut a new piece and try to re-string the nunchaku, I will fail to have enough slack to make adjustments and tighten the braids properly.
@@MichaelVs-n2w Overall length is slightly longer than four times the length of your forearm. The amount of cord between the two batons is the width of your palm. I won’t give lengths in inches/centimeters because each person’s nunchaku should be custom fitted to their own body proportions.
Please tell me i just bought my first pair of nunchuks the measurements are 350g weight Rope 19cm And the sticks 30cm... is that ok?:P they kinda feel a bit too long
Australian Buloke is the hardest wood in the world and i rather use that wood...Quebracho (Schinopsis spp.) 4,570 lbf (20,340 N) From the Spanish “quebrar hacha,” which literally means “axe breaker.” Aptly named, wood in the Schinopsis genus is among the heaviest and hardest in the world....... i rather use that wood for nunchuks making

I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.
No mention of cord or chain length which is very important!
Они сами незнают😊

If I multiply the length of the wood which is the length of my arm, by 4, then the chain would be too long...
I think it's a kid nanchaku...
@@kunalbulloram2722 When tying with cord, you need extra length to adjust for hand width. Surplus length can be trimmed off. I don't use chain.
thanks for the help 11 years later
Hi Nice tutorials, thanks! What about the cm of the total rope that you used
1:21 so is that the way to determine what lenght it's the best for one's own? knuckles to elbow? alright
this dude is right away crap teller about nunchaku it should be wrist to elbow
Very few information about the length of the chain...

Whats the rope length?

They seem pretty skinny? Mine are approx. 35mm at base and 30mm at the top.

Rope 19cm

They should be as long as the tip of your elbow to the center of your palm.
Nunchaku is perfect
Thank you! Just an estimate...? 1 meter perhaps...?
Хорошо что хоть цифры у всех одни, всё понятно. Я раньше делал немного толще в диаметре

Go ahead and use that wood then. No one is stopping you.
Thank you . Very useful video !
It would be good to talk inches as well as micrometers. I'm from the U.S. and we use pounds.
No sound
Measure out four lengths of your forearm. That should be enough with a little slack.
any video on how to connect the cord?
Yes......
Standard - Thanks!
El único qué dio las medidas correctas del palo ,le faltó la medida de la cuerda
Great video, I will definitely watch all of your video's
Thank you
