Don't flush the litter even if it says you can! It can clog your pipes in the long run. Just empty the litter box and throw out the bag each time or get a diaper pail for it and it won't smell.
And if you think the litter box smells, just imagine how much it smells to the cat that has a much more sensitive nose!

LOVE naturaly fresh. cats have whisker fatigue so an open bowl is better. My sister's dog prefers eating off the floor.

Hope the new litter is helping Miss. Stevie. I wonder if Stevie would also like a domed litter box as well? Our boys aka cats have litter boxes that aren't completely covered but have a plastic rimmed lid that sits around the top for kicking litter... They like it just fine.

There is an expensive litter box that mechanically cleans the litter after the cat leaves the box. It's about $300 Canadian.
My cats were TERRIFIED of the one I bought them.
I finally caved and bought one. Total game changer! I love it and I buy the liter trays in bulk. With one cat it lasts about 30 days and NO smells.
I thought that as well but with stevies' anxiety I'm not sure that it would be good for her. But i guess there's only one way to find out 😅

Just another tip for stevie... move the litter boxes out from corners or semi enclosed spaces. I had the same problem with 1 of my cats and watched a video from Jackson Galaxy about why your cat might pee outside box and it worked right away. Just a thought. Good Luck!!😊

I have the Breeze litter system for my cat, it’s pellets, and the pee goes down to a puppy pee pad! The litter doesn’t stick to her long hair and easy to clean!

We have 2 male cats and a dog and experience the cats peeing outside the litter box. Since we had the cats, before we got the dog, we splurged and got a Cat Genie. It's completely worth the money!! No cleaning or changing litter! About a year later and still having issues with them peeing outside the box sometimes, we ended up recently purchasing a 2nd Cat Genie and (knock on wood) the cats haven't peed outside the box once. Highly recommend. We also tried everything before that second big purchase (cleaning sprays to prevent marking, pheromone plug ins, extra water, different litter, etc.) so i completely relate!
Hope Stevie does ok with the changed litter. I had to change my cats slowly. Also there is a product called cat attract that you can sprinkle in her litter that might help.
I gotta try making cake cones. Haven't had them seen I was a kid. My daughter loves baking so she'd enjoy making them.

I have a litter genie. It's like a diaper genie. Just scoop the clumps into the genie and no smell. Remove bag once a week and just refill litter box as needed.
Litter robot is a game changer! $500 but it’s constantly cycling it and making it clean such a. Good investment
Goodr sunglasses are good quality, but not expensive! They also have polarized ones.
I would try the disposable litter boxes. The ones that are compostable. It changed everything for my cats. 🐱

I had problems with my cat and litter box. My vet explained that the plastic litter boxes retain the smell or urine and that I needed to purchase a tin or stainless steel litter box as they don’t retain any smell. It was a little bit of an investment but was a major game changer! I also used some bicarbonate soda in with my litter.

I would love to have a cat, but I would need it to go to the bathroom outside. I just can’t’t with a litter box, and I’m the most tolerable one in my house! Haha!
Try to put a trash bag in your litter box and put the litter in the bag in the box that makes it a whole lot better
I have a cat, and they have cat liners literally a big trash bag made for their litter box. I put it at the bottom, then the litter on top of the bag. When I change the litter, I just pull it and close it like a normal trash bag, then put a new one with new litter.

I hope this is taken okay, I don’t want to come off in a negative way. With the bowl situation, cats easily get whisker fatigue so could be why she’s not using the raised bowl if it’s not wide enough. With the litter box, cats don’t like there food close to there bathroom so I’m not sure if that’s where it’s usually kept how it was in the last clip but if so might help to seperate them 🖤
I was going to suggest the same thing about moving the food from the litter. Nobody wants to eat where they poop lol. Love your stuff Rachel thanks for always keeping it real

I would remove the cover. My boy cat hated it. He'd pee elsewhere. Removed the cover & he was back in the litter box.
Use litter box liners it will change the game

theres probobly a reason steavie likes the wide bowl better and thats cause the raised touches her whiskers which are very sensitive to cats so getting wider bowls are better

idk how you guys give stevie her water but highly highly recommend a water fountain my cats used to never drink water until i got them one. kidney disease is biggest natural cause of death in cats so try to give her water anytime you can like adding it to her dry food

i use litter liners.. you pull the draw string then throw the entire bag out and bottom usually stay clean also dont have to endure the gassy whatever fumes that come at ya
Maybe a catio that the cat can use outside to go potty. We have a cat and she is Totally an indoor cat besides using the restroom.
They make liter box liners with a drawstring. Also I personally think pine pellet liter is better

You should try to move the food/water out of the bathroom.. Cat's doesn't like eating/drinking where they poopoo.. Maybe that would help with her problems :)
I use hardwood pellets for my cats. They turn into "sawdust" when the cats pee and the boxes are sifting boxes. If you have one cat you need two boxes and my cats are in heaven. Absolutely no odour. Research it and give it a try. BTW, cats have whisker fatigue, which is why they like shallow bowls. I have my cats eating off flat dog trays. No whisker fatigue.

Change from a plastic litter box to a stainless steel one - plastic absorbs the odour - stainless steel doesn’t
Wear a mask from the pandemic era when you clean the litter.
Cats whiskers are sensitive, which is why they prefer wide bowls.

The flushable litter will stain your toilet. My boyfriend used it for a while and it stained the toilet so bad. Just be careful and I’d say clean the toilet weekly.
