The issue is more of how close the graves are to the property lines. Trees were there before (for 30 years) and they were a buffer. Then, they were taken down and graves placed right up on the property line. There should be regulations about setbacks so they are not so close to the property line.
I hate to say it but the cemetery has the right to bury wherever they want , I feel sorry for the man because I wouldn't want to look out my bedroom window and see a Tombstone 😢

The City knows what is reasonable and unreasonable. There are rules as to why you can't bury your own loved ones in your backyard while living within City Limits. Why do they exist? Because of Health Hazardous Reasons!!! The laws that prevent a Homeowner within City Limits from burying Humans and Pets apply in this case too. Terrible. You can tell he's good-natured and reasonable. Hope they stop giving this sweet man dead people for neighbours. On another note, wonder what was there before his home was built. I once had to live and work right next to a cemetery. Gravestones were immediately outside the window. It only became worrisome after the only other occupant died and I was alone at night.

That's crazy. It's obvious the cemetery wants to buy his land as well. They're trying to force him out. At this point he has to sale to them or put up a 6ft privacy fence around his entire property line.
Nice word salad from the government. Translation: "We know we effed up and are trying to figure a way to blame someone else." I worked on some medical equipment at a hospital in Stockton, California. Right across the street is a graveyard. So inspiring for patients to see that they don't have far to go if the doctor fails them.
Always a hospital or a church across from a cemetery. Not sure what your point is anyway, it's always going to be something across from them. He didn't have to be in the place of a hospital or church. Plus, he can't even see the bodies, since they're underground...
Hey! He’s going to have quiet neighbors; no loud music, dogs barking, screaming children…perhaps a shrieking banshee once in a while, so where’s the issue? Any visitors are generally quiet and don’t stay too long.
That sucks. At least his new neighbors will be quiet... And with the new plots up for sale, I bet people will be dying to get in. I'll see myself out...
Tall nice privacy fence is the answer, but a cemetery veiw would not bother me. People in England or buying old chapels to convert to homes, most of these come with cemeteries which cannot be disturbed in any way. It's add valve to property too, because its peaceful.
Dude you knew you lived next to property owned by a cemetery. If it bothers you put up a privacy fence. At least you won't have to worry about the new neighbors being too loud. 😮
Wait until the funeral starts and blast some heavy metal music just as the priest starts to talk... Or set up a hot tub next to the fence and get in naked the moment guests start to arrive... Fight fire with fire lol and if people get angry just say this my home I won't stop living my life every time they bury someone or I wouldn't be living myself 😅
More people dying .where exactly do outsiders exepect? Its a cemetery. Thats what its for. If you live next to one unfortunately thats just part of the possibilities of living directly next door to it. Its not a "fun" situation i don't doubt for the man and i do feel for him. This Man’s rights should be the one that an ordinance has to be so that he is being the one who’s needs are the ones that should matter. I wouldn’t want a graveyard right up against my property so close to my backyard.
you would probably not have bought that house for sure
That's crazy. It's obvious the cemetery wants to buy his land as well. They're trying to force him out. At this point he has to sale to them or put up a 6ft privacy fence around his entire property line.
Nice word salad from the government. Translation: "We know we effed up and are trying to figure a way to blame someone else."
I worked on some medical equipment at a hospital in Stockton, California.
Well, good for you.
Hey! He’s going to have quiet neighbors; no loud music, dogs barking, screaming children…perhaps a shrieking banshee once in a while, so where’s the issue?
Any visitors are generally quiet and don’t stay too long.
Wtf they need a fence
Isn’t there any kind of easement or anything?
yes, it's a little bit creepy, but you'll get used to it and, in time, you won't even think about it.
That sucks. At least his new neighbors will be quiet...
And with the new plots up for sale, I bet people will be dying to get in.
I'll see myself out...
Take that to outside of city and away from people.. like 10 mins outside the city.. all the bodies..
You could walk to this place
Looks like his house is on the property line. He could put up a privacy fence.
Tall nice privacy fence is the answer, but a cemetery veiw would not bother me. People in England or buying old chapels to convert to homes, most of these come with cemeteries which cannot be disturbed in any way. It's add valve to property too, because its peaceful.
I grew up across the street from a cemetery in Kansas. Just a chain link fence around. Never bothered anybody on the street.
So what..a lot of people live right next to cemeteries. If he doesn't like it, build a privacy fence between home n cemetery
It should be very quiet. No partying here.
He’s bearing bodies for money and that’s exactly what he’s doing somebody better in investigate him😢
That’s OK I don’t think his neighbors will be too loud
Dude you knew you lived next to property owned by a cemetery. If it bothers you put up a privacy fence. At least you won't have to worry about the new neighbors being too loud. 😮
At night must be very Quiet and Spooky💀👻.
Don't worry about it they're not going to bother you they'll be quiet neighbors
Good thing it ain't a pet cemetery
i would be packing my bags fr fr.
Possibly plant a good line of tall bushes up on that fenceline may be easiest solution? I know privacy fencing is expensive....but that may also be another option
I don't mind it
