Local 597 Chicago Pipefitters member and also a homebrewer. Glad your back and hoping you begin to enjoy brewing again. Looking forward to seeing you with Jenny again and the fun you two had.
I saw this and had to watch as a fellow homebrewer/Local 700 member. This year was pretty tough being out of work but I am looking forward to when things get back into full swing again. While I have the free time I have been working on my brews. Thanks again for the video, love all the info you share!
Hi Sarah. Great to see you back brewing. One question... is there any advantage to measuring OG in Brix and then converting to SG? I just use a refractometer marked in SG to begin with.
I’m not Sarah but figured I’d answer lol. Brix is more accurate when you take into account your refractometer’s correction factor (Short Circuited Brewers has a video on how to find this, but it varies from wort to wort actually so it’s never 100% correct). It honestly doesn’t really matter anyway, it’s gonna be within .004 typically which is kinda marginal and close enough IMO so just keep doing what you’re doing if your beer is good
Dropping things? Don't want to worrie you, but get tested for M.S. I only mention it because a mates misses got it and one of her symptoms was dropping things.
Thank you for supporting our Union family!
UNION STRONG!!!! THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING UNIONS!!!
Hell yeah! Union strong! My union, UAW, is voting on our TA with auto right now. I hope you all win big!

Glad to see you back into actual brewing. Excellent videos on your techniques.
Thank you❤
Good for you and your husband Flora, I'm a Union man myself. American Federation of Musicians Local 78 Syracuse NY.
Omg I so miss Jenny, JENNY!!!
We want Jenny!
I've had similar experiences with kveik fermentations; I had to clean krausen off my ceiling once!
IBEW local 714 right here!
Yay more Jenny content!
Also hell yeah go Unions
Sounds like a great recipe! 🍻🤘
Can you please tell us what type of set up you have?? Like what kettle, grain basket, Etc..??

Government policymakers should regulate studios that regulate wages and working hours
Local 13 and 18 here.
Why do Hops names sound like w**d strains with the cool names
It's part of the weed plant family
I was hoping you would try out the Brewzilla.
Kveik works but it is NOT a replacement for chico strain fermented at low temps. Some company should send you a glycol chiller!
