Cascadian Dark Fail? Grain to Glass Black IPA

It's a brew day rescue operation with a Brewzilla failure, but we came out the other side with a Citra dry hopped Cascadian Dark Ale (Black IPA)! Special thanks to all the Brewtubers and in particular to ‪@malzundhopfen‬ for pushing me to SAVE THE BEER and helping with this absolute mess of a brew day.

I just realized I never commented here, so huge sorry! Well first of all, thanks for the shoutout buddy. 😊 This is also a great example of how forgiving beer is. I never had an issue this severe with a brewing system, however I definitely recall that I needed to transfer wort between kettles, leaving it unboiled for longer that it should have or even skipping the boil whatsoever. I am happy that the beer turned out too :) And I definitely would try the beer if you'd hand it to me :D

I REALLY appreciate you not letting me dump it! Now I have something as a first try on this Black IPA to see what I want to change next time, and it's drinking pretty well now that it settled down a bit. I'm glad I wound up with beer for the effort, messy as it was to get there! Cheers!
