It would take a grand effort. Considering , their competition is basically other money washers. It’s not gonna have the same ambience and energy of the big casino. In order for them to compete with that even as an underground speakeasy, they would need a well-oiled operation with the right people committed to it. On top of that the software for Marty’s casino games was buggy upon release.
The grind is a bit much but I disagree with Blau here. Whitelist businesses were just money printers until it got nerfed to the floor. And his take on ppl like ramossquammy needing money, Dundee and Chatty make great RP without money
I agree that whitelist businesses shouldn't return as is. Nothing on the server should just be passive income for zero effort. There needs to be work and effort put into it and a whole system working for something to make money. It needs to be reworked. Also, on the second point, yes, Dundee and Chatterbox and Burn can make great RP without money, but they are prominent people on the server so there are people who wants to RP with them and are willing to go with their antics. Furthermore, I don't want a bunch of Dundee and Chatterbox copies on the server. There is some creative RP that can only be accomplished if you have the money to do so, and that is why everyone is grinding so hard. Back in 3.0, Burn even admitted the amount of RP he can do is very limited because his characters are too poor and he doesn't have enough money to do anything special but it is out of character for him to be grind for that money and he doesn't want to do it.
you say that but dont you remeber Blaus last podcast that he had them on where the people playing those characters talked about how hard it is without money and the reason Dundee has money rn is because he basically grinded and not talked to people
@@Natty11100Agreed. Characters that create more drama and storylines should be getting leniency because it’s not really in their characters to be grinding. Chatterbox has recently become interested in weed selling only because Ray Mond does it. But in the podcast with the clown rp drama Chatterbox talked about how it doesn’t make sense for his character to have to go work at the burger place or g6 etc just to get money to survive the day.

I have been doing that "gun RP" roleplay for years and I've yet to get on NP. Nice to know it's Blau and Dimoak approved though.
