Yep, transmission will need TLC and upgrades to handle a lot more. Then you can just chase the torque around the drive train until the next weakness shows up. Pays to do the homework ahead of time, instead of replacing everything that breaks when something in the system gets out of homogeneous function.
This makes me miss my 05 Ram SRT-10 I sold last summer. Wasn't nearly this fast, but was still a fast, cool and fun truck that was more comfortable to sit in than any sport car. Kudos to Ford.

It's pretty wild how tame the coyote is at idle in that thing. So smooth and quiet you wouldn't expect it to be as lethal as it is. Shows how good the oem controls are along with the cam control authority on the coyote platform. Also impressed by the long term durability of the TRC EVO. Who ever built that motor did a great job.

Nevertheless, that F150 is moving...I want One!.... it's the ultimate sleeper💪💪

I'm so glad these trucks come with a supercharger and not twin turbocharged. Just shows you a supercharger can be just as good as a turbocharger and can also be more reliable over time and is of more practical daily use.
Hard to have it both ways with a small engine. It was built for 40-200mph roll racing. The gearing was carefully chosen for street racing. First gear at 40mph is 5000rpm. Perfect rpm to brake boost 30-60psi. Pulls 1.5 g’s in first and goes a 4.0 60-130 with three shifts on a 245 drag radial. Shorter gearing in these cars leads to wheelhop/spin and they break. I’ve got over 200pulls in it now and it’s delivered every time.
The funny thing is. I had a V6 3.5 l and everyone that I raised I would. It's typically beat...I have time slips of races I did in wpb fl roll racing I was running 11s and high 10s

Back in the day 1986 had a 1964 C-10 Chevy two wheel drive truck. The engine was a small block 350 CI with a Weiland street supercharger making a small 7 lbs boost and a built turbo 400 with a 2000 rpm stall converter and 3:90 rear end gears, only used 1st and 2nd gear. The drag strip altitude is 2,000 ft on a summer in the high desert at 100 degrees F. Truck weight was 3.700 lbs It was a Corvette races different vehicles other than another Corvette. The truck ran a 13.10 at 110 miles per hour and beat every single Vett that day. All of the Vetts where normally aspirated. I ran at that strip often and the fact It was running a blower was kept on the down low by the strip owner and crew. The announcer always said " just how fast will that truck run today". Just for fun on one run lit up the tires for the entire quarter mile. It was so much fun to go faster than the cars of that era.
Ye ol' Cleeter was making around 1200 whp before they snapped the crankshaft end, driving that big Whipple (didn't build the engine for that application but rather swapped over from turbos). Not sure what those guys are going to do with it next.

Love the shifting with the guy given rides. Hand keeps going back and forth from shifting to steering wheel. Never in same spot more than a second. Safely first though, might start to wreck in the second the hand isn't on the steering wheel. It's so scary I can only imagine if you're not touching something every second.
Those gen 3 coyotes can make a 1000 wheel horsepower all day if they're tuned right and live I definitely would be putting the mustang Cams and I think intake
The second I saw the Evo knowing it's the 1000hp sequential monster there was like 5% chance that truck was going to win. His only chance was the Evo having some kind of issue which as we all know that thing has run great. The truck had no real chance however 9-10sec @138 I think most people can walk away happy.

Is LS dead? My father was a Cop for 30 years and he just passed away last year. We had been working on a C6 ZO6 when he died and we got royally screwed over by the 1st shop who basically robbed us. Every part we ordered went into the shop race car and they just put the used race car stuff in ours. After the motor blew up and the transmission (we paid for a level 6 RPM) went out we took it to LMR in Houston. They sorted out what was messed up but we basically had to pay for the old stuff all over again. So we ended up with a heads cam FBO car but spent like $65k on that. Now that my father has passed its up to me to finish the car. Ive ordered a full long block from Texas Speed and I've already got the Vortech YSI in the garage. After all is said and done it'll be a powerful car and it will be a hell of a lot of fun. HOWEVER, that being said im thinking about this video I just watched where a damn single cab F150 with a Whipple and some fuel just went 9.80s on the road and makes almost 900whp. I think LS is on its way out. Maybe GM will get off its ass and make some kickass new stuff. I certainly won't hold my breath.
