I agree to Noe! hindi 99, but 99+! I would guess your standard score is around 730-765, and that range is already equivalent to 99+. So happy for for you ate Aura! and thank you so much kasi nakakainspire ang vids mo! (1st yr med student here! :) )
Di ko talaga alam kung bakit lagi ko pinapanood videos mo e ang layo naman ng course ko pero narealize ko na advices and inspirations mo pala in life ang binabalik balikan ko. thank you, doc! ❤
informative vid. sana meron din ganito nung nag-NMAT ako para less anxious ako dati. like you doc, nagtataka rin ako sa score ko sa Quantitative part, nung ako kasi doc ang nag-test 10% lang ang sure ko sa mga questions. hahaha. Tips lang sa mga magte-take, take tons of practice questions especially sa part 1. I suggest unahin ung perceptual at inductive para fresh pa ang mga mata. Wag rin magpaka-stress sa part 2. gugulin ang time sa pagmememorize na lang ng formula sa chem at physics. marami ring nagkalat sa net na summary notes for part 2 subjects. sa mga nurses, wag magpakatoxic sa social sci,... sa chem at phsyics na lang mga bes. hehehe

NMAT is my most frightening stage of becoming a doctor because if I didn't pass it I don't know what to do anymore but then I met a Pediatrician and his pre med was BS Bio and he said to me that I should pass first my pre med before thinking how to pass NMAT and yeah it enlightened me and realize one step at a time 😊.
NMAT is just the beginning and there's more hell in med school trust me 😂 Laban lang. Parang kailan lang nga nagdo-doubt pa ako sa sarili ko about the NMAT, and looking back as a medical student, madali lang pala sya kasi general info lang.

Ate aura I have a question pls answer, what if your scared your scared of seeing blood or seeing big open cuts does that affect you as being as a doctor or a nurse. One more question when your a nurse do you have to do surgery things? I'm srry if this is sort of confusing.
Hi! As a student nurse myself, i was afraid of seeing open cuts or open fractures. But then again i need to strengthen my stomach when ever i see them bc i know in the future hndi naman maiiwasan yun eh. That is why you need to face ur fears, kaya mo yan! And in our school we need to complete 3 scrub, circulating, both related to surgery, manage(pregnant pt.) and cord care(baby). Hope this helps
Good day Ma'am, I want to start studying for NMAT because I plan to take it during this school year as I'm already in the 3rd year of my premed degree. For starters, I searched for the syllabus of NMAT and reviewed at each topic's basics. However, I'm scared that I may not be able to cover every topic from top to bottom with the allotted time, I really hope that you can give me some advice or point out if I'm studying in the wrong way or if I'm wasting time using that startegy.
I didnt know you started vlogging its too late for me to watch this video cause NMAT is already done. Well in my opinion i think review center is good so you could have an idea how the exam looks like but self study is more helpful to get a high score based on my experience. I enrolled last summer in a NMAT review where the owner is one of the people who makes question in NMAT and its quite interesting cause he told us some of the tricks to answer fast especially in perceptual part but then you still need a background knowledge in science which is the part 2 of the exam. NMAT is quite difficult for me cause I have to recall all the things we have discussed since 1st yr pre-med. The sad part here is that I'm a third yr pre-med student and we have classes 'til saturday so sunday is the only time we could rest and study for upcoming quizzes, practicals so we got no time to study for NMAT then NMAT was scheduled on a sunday plus the next day which is monday is our prelims in our major subject which is parasitology. We really dont know what to prioritize that time so our only hope is to pray that our 1,900 pesos was worth it haha. Btw, the reason why i took NMAT even though i'm a 3rd year student is that I wont be late for admission in med school and I could take my 2nd NMAT on march

Doctaura, can you tell us what's happening with wil? in his latest vlog, he revealed that he has a history of internal bleeding w/c started 7 mos prior to hist latest checkup, with reports of gastric pain, and unexplained weight loss... i cant shake it off my mind that it's nothing serious :(((((((
Will I have an on-screen calculator or anything of the sort for the chem/physics section? I know I can't take a calculator with me. I dread the moment when I'll need to use a logarithm without a calculator. Heck, I dread doing division without calculators.

i'm nervous about the NMAT , i'm a first year vetmed student(its a long way ahead) but I want to really pass this and take med school as well. :( I would like to know how many times can you take the NMAT test? Can it be a disadvantage that i'm taking VM instead of medtech, nursing, bio or pharma (and many premed courses) ?
Wala pong disadvantage sa med school kasi back to scratch po talaga. Currently a med student here and graduated in Business, and akala ko noon pag med tech advantage na lalo na sa first year pero pare-pareho lang pala kaming bumabagsak sa exam and that's pretty normal in med school 😂

WAAAAH until now naguguluhan pa rin ako kung anong kukunin kong strand sa SHS😭 (g10 jhs po ako) gusto ko kasing mag-take ng course sa college na health or medical related course like nursing kaso kelangan kong mag-STEM sa SHS, eh ang problema sobrang di ako magaling sa math💔😭 as in ang daling lumabas sa utak ko ng mga pinagaaralan sa math😭 eh sa STEM daw more on math💔😭😭😭😭

Trust me, if you really want to study medical related courses but you're terrible in math, alam ko na kaya mo yan. 11th grade student ako, and I'm a certified math hater, pero I want to be a nurse. Mahirap sya, yes. Pero if there's a will, there's a way. Kaya kayanin mo.
If hindi ka magaling sa math, bakit mo iiwasan? Why not study math para gumaling ka eventually and wala ka nang katakutan na subject? Hihi challenge yourself :) There's nothing you can't learn.
Lagi pong sinasabi sa amin in med school na hindi naman po paunahan ang pagdo-doktor. Just make sure na gusto mo talaga mag doctor (not for the title or money tho) the moment you enter med school and you surely will become one eventually. May kaklase nga ako dito sa med school na dating chief nurse at nasa 30's na saka nag med school. At hindi lang sya ang nasa 30's may mga kilala pa ako from other sections (my friends).
Tanong po ako doc kasi nag paplan ako mag take ng nmat ang maka pasok sa medicine pero nung 2nd year ako na fail ako sa subject ko pero nabawi ko naman sya nung nag 3rd year ako is it okay padin ba like may chances parin na maka pasok ako sa medicine?

Hi! As a student nurse myself, i was afraid of seeing open cuts or open fractures. But then again i need to strengthen my stomach when ever i see them bc i know in the future hndi naman maiiwasan yun eh. That is why you need to face ur fears, kaya mo yan! And in our school we need to complete 3 scrub, circulating, both related to surgery, manage(pregnant pt.) and cord care(baby). Hope this helps

Good day Ma'am, I want to start studying for NMAT because I plan to take it during this school year as I'm already in the 3rd year of my premed degree. For starters, I searched for the syllabus of NMAT and reviewed at each topic's basics. However, I'm scared that I may not be able to cover every topic from top to bottom with the allotted time, I really hope that you can give me some advice or point out if I'm studying in the wrong way or if I'm wasting time using that startegy.
I didnt know you started vlogging its too late for me to watch this video cause NMAT is already done. Well in my opinion i think review center is good so you could have an idea how the exam looks like but self study is more helpful to get a high score based on my experience. I enrolled last summer in a NMAT review where the owner is one of the people who makes question in NMAT and its quite interesting cause he told us some of the tricks to answer fast especially in perceptual part but then you still need a background knowledge in science which is the part 2 of the exam. NMAT is quite difficult for me cause I have to recall all the things we have discussed since 1st yr pre-med. The sad part here is that I'm a third yr pre-med student and we have classes 'til saturday so sunday is the only time we could rest and study for upcoming quizzes, practicals so we got no time to study for NMAT then NMAT was scheduled on a sunday plus the next day which is monday is our prelims in our major subject which is parasitology. We really dont know what to prioritize that time so our only hope is to pray that our 1,900 pesos was worth it haha. Btw, the reason why i took NMAT even though i'm a 3rd year student is that I wont be late for admission in med school and I could take my 2nd NMAT on march

Doctaura, can you tell us what's happening with wil? in his latest vlog, he revealed that he has a history of internal bleeding w/c started 7 mos prior to hist latest checkup, with reports of gastric pain, and unexplained weight loss... i cant shake it off my mind that it's nothing serious :(((((((

Will I have an on-screen calculator or anything of the sort for the chem/physics section? I know I can't take a calculator with me. I dread the moment when I'll need to use a logarithm without a calculator. Heck, I dread doing division without calculators.

Hi ate Aura! I have a question for you please answer po. I am planning to take NMAT this October 2017, since 2yrs po diba ang validity ng score am i allowed to take the exam next year ulit? (Paghindi ko a magustuhan yung score ko sa first take) What im trying to say po is yung latest score ko po ba yung icoconsider nila if mag aapply na ako sa med school since hindi pa po expired yung first nmat score ko. i'm nervous about the NMAT , i'm a first year vetmed student(its a long way ahead) but I want to really pass this and take med school as well. :( I would like to know how many times can you take the NMAT test? Can it be a disadvantage that i'm taking VM instead of medtech, nursing, bio or pharma (and many premed courses) ?
Wala pong disadvantage sa med school kasi back to scratch po talaga. Currently a med student here and graduated in Business, and akala ko noon pag med tech advantage na lalo na sa first year pero pare-pareho lang pala kaming bumabagsak sa exam and that's pretty normal in med school 😂

Trust me, if you really want to study medical related courses but you're terrible in math, alam ko na kaya mo yan. 11th grade student ako, and I'm a certified math hater, pero I want to be a nurse. Mahirap sya, yes. Pero if there's a will, there's a way. Kaya kayanin mo.
If hindi ka magaling sa math, bakit mo iiwasan? Why not study math para gumaling ka eventually and wala ka nang katakutan na subject? Hihi challenge yourself :) There's nothing you can't learn.

It's never too late. U can be a doctor in ur early 30's to forever. It is always Worth it to continue and proceed medschool. 💓
Lagi pong sinasabi sa amin in med school na hindi naman po paunahan ang pagdo-doktor. Just make sure na gusto mo talaga mag doctor (not for the title or money tho) the moment you enter med school and you surely will become one eventually. May kaklase nga ako dito sa med school na dating chief nurse at nasa 30's na saka nag med school. At hindi lang sya ang nasa 30's may mga kilala pa ako from other sections (my friends).
