    Thank you for making this. I bought my v400 about a month ago and thought to myself, I really should be doing some kind of routine maintenance on this. I haven't been able to find any kind of guide. Even from FLSUN (maybe I haven't been looking in the right place)

      A good place to get some info is on facebook group called "Flsun V400 Amazing Speed 3D printer Official Group" under the files section there is a lot of info, i also posted videos about anything that helped me and my printer out.

    I'm a little confused, in some videos they put the tensioner right in the center shortly after at 3

      yeah there is not a lot of guides to go by, mine works ok like this but i am no pro (Y) i just did what i thought was correct and it seems to be working.

    Do you grease the small nylon inserts that the springs go through on the carbon fiber legs, if your not you will notice wear this is something suggested to be greased by FLSUN

    • @carphotography
      @carphotography  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      yes i do grease them (Y) just a tiny blob

    Do you re-run a calibration and bed mesh every time you do that maintenance or is it not necessary? I was told that as soon as you change anything with the belt you should perform and enhanced callibration.

    • @carphotography
      @carphotography  ปีที่แล้ว

      to be honest my last maintenance i didnt recalibrate and so far had no problems but i have only made a few small parts since.

    • @carphotography
      @carphotography  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      if the belts are adjusted i would check calibration.

    • @carphotography
      @carphotography  ปีที่แล้ว

      every month works for me sooner if there seems to be any issues.

    One question, I need to print large format pieces where print quality doesn't matter much, but time is pressing, I'm between the elegoo neptune 3 max and this one. Bearing in mind that this one may require sectioning off larger pieces and waiting for the glue to dry when joining them, I'll still be able to get my pieces faster with this one than waiting for it to print in one piece in the elegoo even if it has a .8 mm extruder? Thanks in advance for your time

    • @carphotography
      @carphotography  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is my first 3d printer, so i dont have much to compare to but it is fast , printing at.8 would be super quick , i use a .4

      @Brouk10 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@carphotography it's not line or layer shifts. There are gaps between the perimeters.
