I love Earthworm Jim and The Critic, those should’ve higher than Bonkers! Rupert was the first Nick Jr cartoon I watched as a kid. Reboot was ahead of its time, that show should’ve ran longer on ABC.
Duckman was the cartoon that played late at night on Friday’s when I was a kid Always tried to stay up late watch Still my favourite cartoon Holds up like yesterday So under rated
While I saw snippets of Earthworm Jim as a kid, I didn’t FULLY watch it till I was an adult and think it’s SORELY underrated! (Years ago bought the DVD set at a retro game store)
Oh wow if this is only the bottom 10 we are in for a treat--thanks The Review!! Keep it up Fav show here is The Critic. Has a golden age Simpson's vibe. Also glad Eek! The Cat just made the cut. Nobody talks about that one! So many references in that show went over my head as a kid
Out of these my favorite is The Critic. I still quote that show. I also liked Eek the Cat, Duckman Home Movies, Earthworm Jim and Reboot (particularly season 3)
Reboot was cool back in the day. EWJ is a wacky trip that I should rewatch. Duckman was good, if not for kids. And Eek the Cat is probably what I know best from these. It gets little love, and I don't know if anyone really saw it much..but I did. Part of my childhood.
I think Duckman's best recurring guest star as John Astin. Sure, every cartoon character he voices sounds like John Astin... but if that is your natural voice, ya run with it. (Actually, not quite Astin's natural voice. He spent three years studio broadcasting and drama school, most of it to remove the traces of Baltimorese out of his voice.) I'm torn on BTTF in hindsight. I loved it as a kid. But I found out that Thomas F. Wilson reportedly didn't want to do the cartoon but he was apparently TOO good and TOO memorable as Biff because he got typecast as Biff like characters for decades, causing him to change his registered name with the SAG from Thomas F. Wilson to Tom Wilson to try to shake it. (Though he went by Thomas F. Wilson for a few other projects. Notably the remastered Back to the Future video game, that BTTF table re-reread done during lockdown as a fundraiser for Doctors Without Borders, etc.) But as for the best on the list so far on your list is Earthworm Jim. Reboot was good but I find most early CGI while groundbreaking for their time, visually don't holdup as well as more traditional pen and paper/pen and paper with digital assistance that most shows were doing at the time. Oh and if Batman isn't in the top five, you aren't doing your list right. Just sayin'.
I wished my favourites past Disney animated series like The Gummie Bears, Talespin, Bonkers,Darkwing Duck, Mighty Ducks, Wuzzles, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules, House of Mouse, Kim Possible and American Dragon Jake Long are onto a complete Blu- Ray (with the entire episodes)at last just like they did for Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers. Because past Disney animated series deserved to be released onto Blu-Ray at last more than the Disney films
hello, i really really enjoy your videos so far. just found this channel and subscribed. love all the vids even though i never really watched majority of the shows you review. just wondering I was born in 94 so majority of the cartoons i watched were from the early 2000's. ever thought about possibly doing an early 2000's vid? i'd absolutely love the opportunity to hear your opinions on the shows i hold so close to me. i totally understand though if you won't do that though if you didn't watch cartoons during that era
Thank you so much! We're more than happy to delve into some 2000s titles. This is an interesting list. You can see that the influence of people who were around when these aired is fading. And a younger crowd is voting in the titles and characters they recognize. Some of these early nineties titles are in jeopardy of not even making a top 100 list in the coming years. Makes some of us feel old 😅.
I haven't seen some of these, but from the ones I did, I liked Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventures, more so the first series, Back to the Future Animated Series, Earthworm Jim and Rupert the most. I have always been a big fan of the Back to the Future franchise, so I liked the animated series, especially the live action segments with Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown. I played the Earthworm Jim PC game and liked it a lot, so I liked the animated series also as it was faithful to the game. I never knew at the time but the founder of Shiny Entertainment, David Perry was born in the same town my granny was born so I thought that was interesting to find out. I read somewhere a long time ago in promoting or adverting the Earthworm Jim game, they killed hundreds of worms or something, I couldn't find the info again to be certain what I read before, so take that info with a grain of salt. I also liked Rupert but I never knew it started as a comic in 1920.
Just fyi; the critic got somewhat of a season 3 through webisodes from 2000 - 2001. The now defunct company AtomFilms made them. Only 10 episodes were ever made. Not sure where you can watch it now.
If shows like The critic, and Reboot are at the bottom of the list I can only imagine whats above them... I also remembered and liked Bill and teds, Earth worm Jim, Home movies and Bonkers
Well, this time, it would be easier to start off with those I'm NOT familiar with, Rupert, that's it. Yeah, maybe it was timing, too childish for my parents to get into, gone before I was born, but that one I never heard of. The rest, I am familiar with. Some from my dad's old VHS Tapes, some, I actually watched, those being Home Movies, Reboot, and can't remember which channel, but use to watch reruns of Duckman on cable. And The Critic, I even have the full series on DVD. Also, you forgot to mention that Back to the Future also had Bill Nye The Science Guy in the live action segments as well. Anyways, enjoyed the video. Thank you, and looking forward to 90-81. 😉
Good evening 🌃. Great video and keep make more great videos. Everyone have great day and next day and week and weekend and next week and full happiness 😊😊😊😊😊.
My first encounter with the Back to the Future cartoon will probably rank high on my surreal life experience: at a random exhibit at a mall stilled after a Roman Forum in Odaiba, Japan
I knew a guy who has the same name as the critic and he hated the show because of that. So of course I would try to get him to say “It stinks” as often as I could. I love that show, he sucked.
I loved the first season of Bill and Ted, when Alex Winter, Keanu Reeves, and George Carlin all voiced their respective characters and it stayed pretty true to the first movie. The second season, when it moved to Fox, was awful! For one thing, Bill and Ted's new voice actors sounded like they were trying too hard to imitate Alex and Keanu. Secondly, they added the really stupid concept of being able to travel inside books and fairy tales, as well as time (because, let's face it, there's only so much you can do with time travel - I'm being sarcastic here), and suddenly Bill and Ted were not slackers anymore (i.e. they liked gym class - I hated gym class and I could relate to Bill and Ted when they didn't like gym class) and they were suddenly conscientious about cleaning up, etc. I lost interest after the episode where they go inside someone's body to learn about health. I also really liked Bonkers. That was a favorite, underrated Disney cartoon. I have to mention my personal favorite that's not listed, The Angry Beavers! I love Norb and Dag, and recently bought the whole series on DVD. Definitely an underappreciated Nicktoon.
I can just picture the room of execs talking about remaking a movie into cartoon and going on about how it’s not gonna be like the other failed attempts…
Yeah! Just wait! There are some mind boggling positions for some of these titles on this list. Unfortunately it makes sense. The older the shows get the fewer people will recognize them on average. I think part of that is that the older crowd skips over surveys while the younger crowd takes the opportunity to cast a vote. Thanks for watching and for commenting too!
Which one was your favorite?
@@TheReviewStudios I remember watching Rupert, Bonkers, Home Movies, and Back to the Future as a kid
I love Bonkers 💙🧡🖤
I liked The Critic and Duckman as a kid, though I suspect much of the humor went over my head.
@@bes03c same here
Home movies! 😊
This series is going to be a helluva nostalgia trip.
This list is great! Watched so many of these. The Critic, Duckman, and Home Movies were great. They didn't last long. Loved Reboot.
I love Earthworm Jim and The Critic, those should’ve higher than Bonkers! Rupert was the first Nick Jr cartoon I watched as a kid. Reboot was ahead of its time, that show should’ve ran longer on ABC.
Duckman and Home Movies were probably my favorites.
I think this count down is a great idea! Your videos are always a trip down memory lane for me.
Awesome, thank you! we were worried about switching things up. Glad to have you here.
Duckman was the cartoon that played late at night on Friday’s when I was a kid
Always tried to stay up late watch
Still my favourite cartoon
Holds up like yesterday
So under rated
Right after weird science I believe but before sill stocking lmao aahhh to be a kid again
Home movies was SOO ahead of its time
While I saw snippets of Earthworm Jim as a kid, I didn’t FULLY watch it till I was an adult and think it’s SORELY underrated! (Years ago bought the DVD set at a retro game store)
yeah if definitely gets overlooked it really should be higher.
Yea I just thought it was a video game 😊
I remember Terrible Thunder Lizards got it's own show on FOX kids on Saturday mornings too...didn't realize it was basically a spinoff.
Oh wow if this is only the bottom 10 we are in for a treat--thanks The Review!! Keep it up
Fav show here is The Critic. Has a golden age Simpson's vibe. Also glad Eek! The Cat just made the cut. Nobody talks about that one! So many references in that show went over my head as a kid
I really really loved Rupert. Every show mentioned today I watched and loved growing up!
The critic was so
Good! Plus Bill and Ted - however I’d say Rupert is nice nostalgia as it’s very cute. (Loved Dr Katz too.)
Happy to spend my holidays watching this series. Great narrator.
Out of these my favorite is The Critic. I still quote that show. I also liked Eek the Cat, Duckman Home Movies, Earthworm Jim and Reboot (particularly season 3)
Eek, the tick, and spiderman were the best mornings
Eek the Cat was my favorite! I never heard of it being released on DVD, sadly.
Reboot was cool back in the day. EWJ is a wacky trip that I should rewatch. Duckman was good, if not for kids. And Eek the Cat is probably what I know best from these. It gets little love, and I don't know if anyone really saw it much..but I did. Part of my childhood.
I loved reboot! I even still have some of the toys 😅
so cool!
if Reboot is only #91, the rest of this list is gonna be *fire*
Seeing another part would be awesome! I would look forward to getting to see what I remember watching growing up.
Coming soon!
Reboot and Home Movies (which i watched on Adult Swim) were fantastic shows.
Can’t wait to see the rest of the list!
If I showed this video to my dad he’d probably cry. I remember he’d use old cartoon characters as nicknames for me 💀…
That's awesome!!
Ah that sounds like a fellow dad! I picked it up from my dad. All sorts of characters lol
lots of favorite shows here

Some hot takes, Bonkers and reboot ahead of critic and home movies lol. I’ll go ahead and not take the numbered rankings too seriously.
Thank you for that!
Reboot was the shit. It won so many awards!!
Great list so far. Can't wait to see more!
I loved me some Spiderman the animated series and home movies that was a hilarious show
I little remember eek the cat tv series.
The Reboot disrespect is real.
Why does everyone forget to mention the BTTF cartoon also starred a young Bill Nye the Science Guy in Doc's live action segments?
I got the first loyalty badge god dammit! 💪😅
Who’s comin’ with me?! 🎬🍿📺

Duckman and The Tick are still my favorite. I watch Tick with my son now
I loved the pulp fiction episode of eek
Anyone remember Ovide and the Gang ?? That was an underrated cartoon that doesn't get any love these days.
I loved Reboot.

Duckman is still one of the best cartons ever made
Just fyi; the critic got somewhat of a season 3 through webisodes from 2000 - 2001. The now defunct company AtomFilms made them. Only 10 episodes were ever made. Not sure where you can watch it now.
Ah, that's right thanks
If shows like The critic, and Reboot are at the bottom of the list I can only imagine whats above them...

The Critic is a tough one. I loved it, but it definitely wasn't for everyone.
Earthworm Jim was second only to Freakazoid as cartoons that raised me :D
Finally we have a list of
Yeah! It's a nice change of pace! Started slow but we're gonna fight to keep this series rolling.
It's a shame you didn't mention Duckman's sister-in-law, she was always a favorite character of mine.
I remember earthworm jim tv series.
What is the movie for this scene @0:05 ?
That's stock footage from Pexels. Weird looking dudes drinking milk right

Thank you. Yeah, I didn’t watch much Rupert myself either
Me not being mature enough for Nutwood 😂
Rest In Peace, Everett Peck (The Creator of Duckman & Squirrel Boy)

That is pretty random wow
I remember reboot tv series.
I watched the Bill and Ted one, The Critic, the BTTF one, and Bonkers.
Nice!
One more for the road 😂
3:26 From the darkest recesses of my childhood!!
Please continue! I totally forgot about Reboot. That was a good one. Wondering if/when Transformers Beast Wars shows up on this list.
Stay Tuned... Thank You
I knew a guy who has the same name as the critic and he hated the show because of that. So of course I would try to get him to say “It stinks” as often as I could. I love that show, he sucked.
That's hilarious. I probably would've done the same.
Great part 1 video. 😀👍
Thank you 👍
@TheReviewStudios your welcome. 😀👍
Glad it made the list but Reboot was the hotness. Shoulda been higher.
Eek the cat such a classic fox Kids cartoon
REBOOT was my show. And BONKERS 😊
❤❤❤
I litte back to future cartoon series.
I litte remember Rupert tv series.
Did Eek have a Beavis and Butthead storyline but they were called Bevoid and Butterhead?
How do you Bonkers anywhere but the bottom of the list?
Cap choice
The Critic was my favorite show, and it was canceled too soon. I have the complete series DVD.
nice

I think ReBoot was a Canadian TV show?
Created for YTV in Canada But also aired on ABC in the US
So much goodness
While a couple of these I don't even remember but I'd say I enjoyed watching Duckman and the Critic the most out of these 10.
I only recall Reboot & Home Movies, I hated the latter. Tho I didn't mind the former, I recall it from the 4D ride in Vegas' Luxor Hotel.
#90sNostalgia
Duckman is excellent. 😀👍
The best!
@@TheReviewStudios you got that right. 😀👍
Ummm, it was called the Guardian's Code not Core; it wasn't very well received...
I was waiting for someone to say something, sorry about that.
Yes continue please
Thank You
I can just picture the room of execs talking about remaking a movie into cartoon and going on about how it’s not gonna be like the other failed attempts…
classic
Okay, consider me interested.
Snookums and meat
*glad these are high on the list* i hated all these cartoons😂😂😂. Im such an 80''s baby. Lol
The Critic should be higher.
Duckman and Homemovies this high on the list? Travesty

Yass bro
I never liked home movies. It was never funny and has annoying voices. I’m tried watching it once but couldn’t stand it.
Non of the cartoons were any good.
It stinks! 🤣
I remember bonkers tv series.
