M15 spent lots of time with E23 around the pond and in the Office Oak Tree. This is one of M15's favorite fishing spots overlooking the pasture pond. E23 seemed to take a nice dive at the pond, maybe in a fishing attempt!! Unfortunately, the camera operator was zoomed in too close to see if E23 actually skimmed the pond trying to catch a fish. M15 flew back to the nest and E23 followed with lots of vocals in hopes of a fish...but, no luck this time. M15 flew back to the pond Oak and you can see him also diving, but again no luck ☹ Later on, E23 joined M15 at the pond bank. M15, again flew to the pond oak and E23 stayed on the bank. It was fun watching E23 as he glanced up at M15 and then back at the pond as little fishes were moving around him. You can see the wheels turning as E23 makes that connection with his fish meals and the water. They didn't have any luck catching a fish, but valuable lessons on patience and techniques were taught. If we're lucky, we may see E23 catch a fish before he leaves on his journey. Best of luck to you little buddy, we're all rooting for you!!! 🥰💖💖💖

Great to hear. Sounds like Dad is teaching Ms Sqweeee how to fish!! She's a loud critter I know that lol She's got the size, she's got Mom's feisty firey attitude and I truly think she's a survivor. If she learns how to catch fish before she either leaves or gets left thats just a special bonus 😁👋🦅💓

M15 is such a marvel! Its fun to see E23 look at the fish...then look at the oak tree! He is sorting it out..and will put it all together soon. It was not too long ago you did some spectacular vids D.. when a couple of the babies caught fish! So am hoping this smart fella will do the same. I read somewhere that it takes fledglings 19 times of trying to actually catch a fish! Sure be great to put that 19 under his belt before leaving! Thank you my friend for this fun video! Wow, thanks for that info about the 19 tries! I'm so hoping that I can capture that video for all of us, when E23 snags his own goodie!! I thought that was really sweet to watch too, when E23 was thinking so hard about fishies and Daddy and water, and I think he saw one real close to him, and he did that adorable upsidedown head tilt. Hunting and catching food is the hardest lesson. But, with M15 as its father, E23 will learn this most valuable skill.
So true!! It's always so wonderful to see them catch a fish before they leave. M15 works with them so patient and lovingly!
All I know is that M15 has made sure all his offspring know how to hunt for their food before they go on their journey. M15 is an awesome Eagle dad. Thank you for this video

I absolutely love seeing just what M15 was wanting to do with E23 and how he was there at the Pond but in the background wanting E23 to catch her own fish and it does look as if she tried but no luck this time. I’m sure daddy will definitely continue to work with E23 with the fishing part and she will definitely get her first fish and when she does, everyone and even M15 will be so happy and proud of his and our E23. Thanks dad for standing back and letting your baby try to do her own try at fishing. This is one of many things I’m so proud of daddy Magnificent15 is that he never gives up on his babies and always makes sure they succeed before they are ready to leave the nest and make their own journey. Hi Sue, YVW & Thank you too!! It's such a blessing to see how these amazing birds learn from their parents, especially one so Magnificent!! He is patient and loving in all that he does for his babies. F23 is too, but this time is usually spent more with M15, as he takes on the duties when they are older like E23. I wonder if all Eagle Dads do. We are so fortunate to have so many cameras and this perfect little pond to watch them continue to learn. Plus, so many wonderful photographers that also report what is going on away from the cams. So many reasons to love and share this nest and the eagle family each year!!
