- Testing the Givi Tall windscreen for the Honda TransAlp XL750. Also tried to scout out a trail that leads to a camping site but it did not work out as planned. Always great to be out on the bike though! #motorcyclelife #motorcyclelifestyle #motorcycle #motorcycletravel #motorcycles #motorcycleadventure #motorcycleadventures #motorcyclesoftiktok #motovlog #motovlogger #motovlogging #motovlogs #motovloger #motovloging #motorbike #motorbikerider #motorbikeadventure #motorbikes #motorbiketour #motorbikers #motorbikeaccessories #thefoggytrekker #justride #solorider #honda #hondamotorcycles #hondatransalp #transalp750 #xl750 #nsmoto #xl750トランザルプ #advmoto #advmotorcycle
This is the givi d1201st.
I ordered it for my new transalp. Very nice
I fitted a WRS windscreen and a set of wind deflectors (Off amazon) to my Transalp and I look over it slightly and it's pretty decent with no buffeting. I had to adjust my gear lever up just slightly to accommodate my boots. Works fine now.
I have the same screen. Not a fan. I don’t like looking thru it. 4 hours in a downpour I’d rather had the stock one on. I’m gonna try cutting it down to the med height.
That is definitely a concern I have. I treated it with some stuff similar to rainx that is specifically for visors. I am hoping that will help in rain. I really love the wind protection it provides.
Would a 6ft 3inch rider see over it ?
I am 5’10” and I definitely look through it. I would think another 5” should position you pretty good for looking over it. I “think” you should be good.
