Nice. These variations pretty nearly follow the original violin format which Paganini wrote with very modern harmonies. Bravo!!

Not only a fine performance, the best sound of several vids I've listened to. Clearer in the bass, not so muddy/boomy. Perhaps not micd as close as the others?
This could also have to do with the pianos being used. I wouldn't be surprised if these were Samicks, I find that in what I've ever played, they have the clearest, sharpest bass. It is very easy to get a lot of that mud, with so many harmonics. I don't know how they do it honestly.
