ग्रेजुएशन करने के बाद अहमदाबाद में यूपीएससी की तैयारी बीच में ही छोड़कर मित्तल पटेल ने ऐसी राह चुनी जो काफी चुनौतीपूर्ण थी. उन्होनें पत्रकारिता की पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद एक fellowship की राह चुनी. जिसमें उन्हें कुछ समय के लिए आदिवासियों के बीच जाकर उनकी दिनचर्या को समझना था. शुरुआत में उनके लिए यह सफर आसान नहीं थी. पर उन्होनें हिम्मत नहीं हारी. मित्तल उन्हीं के बीच रही, उनके साथ ही खाना खाती, और वे सभी काम करती, जो वे अपनी जिंदगी में करते हैं. उनका खराब स्थिति और पिछड़ापन को देखकर मित्तल पटेल ने एक NGO की शुरुआत की. जिसमें वो उनकी स्थिति बदलने के लिए प्रयासरत है.

There are many youngsters who aspire to become IAS officers and put in all their efforts to realize this dream. However, while working towards achieving this goal, there are few who realize that their true calling lies elsewhere. Such is the story of 35-year-old Mittal Patel who was raised in a village of Gujarat. While she dreamt of becoming an IAS officer during her graduation, she soon realized that her happiness lied in working for the tribal community.
Mittal started an NGO called ‘Vicharta Samuday Samarthan Manch’ (VSSM) to solve their problems. She arranged to provide education to the tribal children in a tent and struggled to get voter cards made for the tribal people. Voter cards have now been made for nearly 20,000 people, and 5,000 of them have also found jobs for a livelihood.

This is the problem... What we are chasing? Answer is Life... Ok.... So u mean to say that villagers dont enjoy life, they are incomplete...they are deprived...they dont enjoy the fake luxurious lifestyle of metro city....
If you are landless or having small piece of land , then you should go to city to earn, but what is the point in going to city just to enjoy a fake modern lifestyle.... Aaj sabko gaadi, bangla, chahiye.... Hmmm that is success.....
Sometimes , i feel 90% of the josh talks speakers are good but not good enough....
Your village needs you... You should educate your people, think n develop your village....
You know 95 percent of the farming is inorganic...with excessive fertilizer... who will promote organic farming....
A strong nation is not possible with inorganic farming and we all know the 90 % of the milk production is the result of injections....
