I used my Epiphone Thunderbird VP and Orange Fur Coat and it sounds so close to the record which surprises me.

Okay dude, I found your channel because I like playing stoner doom bass as a hobby, but it turns out you somehow have the best musical taste on the internet, so this may seem like a weird question, but... what other Melvins songs should I be checking out (if any)? This is the only one I've found so far that I really dig and they have such a huge catalogue that I can't bring myself to slog through it all.

I don't know if the magic will work in the opposite direction, but I have found "I don't mind" by heavy blues trio The Bad Light to be filled with delightful riffs to play on a 4-string (despite the lack of bass in the actual band).

Have you tried one of those aluminum neck bass guitars like the guitars king buzzo uses? I'm planning on getting a neck for a fender body, at least those have great looks and I'm curious about what the timbre would be
I haven’t played an actual Electrical Guitar Company, but have played an aluminum neck on a Fender. For me, the most noticeable difference was the feel - the fretboard is flat and took a bit to get used too. They’re also HEAVY and can dip a little forward. That being said, I really liked it and would love to add an aluminum neck to the arsenal 🤜🤛🤘
