Thank you for posting these rare shorts. This one is in pretty good shape, which I'm happy to see. Mabel was a gem.

I think this is the first of the Fatty and Mabel series (the pilot you might say). In the series, Fatty and Mabel are love-struck country kids, forever eloping, often down breaking ladders. This one is comparatively simple, but they later became more complex. Very funny, but sweet at the same time, although almost devoid of artistic merit. Both Mabel and Roscoe moved on to higher things.
