Great little interview, should definitely get more guys on that work in the more obscure parts of the business...nice to hear a little insight from behind the scenes..stuff we don't normally get to hear about, nice work Mikey B.
@zStC1 It's not about that you yt boy 😂... if it was explain DC and his big grin in the post fight interview of ufc 304 with Tom? Cutman Tate is simply a company man, or temporarily so, Dana white, the pink boy has ordered Tate to do as such.
Seriously, bring back Tate sometime soon and let him talk about more stories. Ask him who he thinks has the most scar tissue (Nate Diaz) and how the friendship between himself and Gilbert Burns always fighting in the back lol. Maybe ask about his opinion when Dana fired that last cut man. Idk there’s so much to ask about. Anyway yeah bring him back soon. Great show!
Tate , with all due respect chief , you doubt yourself justtt a little bit , just going off a few podcasts here but the reality is , you have soooo much knowledge and when you talk it sounds just alike any mma journalist out there except you can see the passion in your eyes cus those mfs light up , especially while talking bout certain fighters . You’re the goat cut man bro , we appreciate your knowledge and wisdom about the sport. Really gives different perspectives and angles of the ufc 🔥🖤
MMA Fanboys, who think the UFC should do what they want, were so angry at Tate when he was saying his opinion on Jon vs Stipe vs Tom :)) Hats off to Brad, you are a legend brother! Two of the greatest legends of the sport, one of them is the greatest fighter in the known recorded history of combat sports, want to fight each other and none of them wants to fight Tom (for the moment). Not sure which part of this is difficult to understand! Don't need a high IQ to appreciate it :))
I like cutman tate and I understood his overall point. However Tom specifically is the exception to that rule since he has defended the interim and knocked out the whole division inside a combined time of less than a couple minutes. Tom has earned his spot. If Dana came out and just said “ we booked Stipe and Jon, it’s unfortunate that Jon got injured and Tom is defending the interim but we can’t agree to let Stipe fight then tell Stipe to get lost” cause telling Stipe tough luck is bad ethically. They just should have never made the interim and half the problem would be gone.
@@clintonmallard8447 No, there is no exception for anyone. The whole reason Tom has a belt or even people know him is that Jon was injured otherwise no one would even know about the existence of Tom Aspinall. No one knew there was a heavyweight called Tom Aspinall until that moment that Jon injured and he got the fight against Pavlovich for the interim belt. When Jon won against Gane, he asked the audience “do you guys want me to beat Stipe?” and everyone was in favor of that fight. Now, fanboys try to push the UFC to book a different fight. Personally, I would take the Jon vs Stipe over the Jon vs Stipe fight anytime of the day. Of course, I would enjoy the Jon vs Tom fight after that. Besides that Jon and Stipe want to fight each other and do not want to fight Aspinall. This is exactly the meaning of making sense. On top of this, many fights do not make sense like the second Jiri vs Alex fight or Alex vs Khalil but the UFC do not have any obligation to make them sense for everyone.
Quite possibly but Jon’s as likely to take him down and ground n pound or submit Tom, you saw the look of disbelief on Cirl Ganes face after getting manhandled, he looked like he’d never felt anything like that. I’d rather see Tom fight Stipe first but ive never lost money betting on Jones, I can’t imagine it going the distance so it’s either ko by Tom round 1 or 2 or jones by submission round 2.
His opinion on the jon and Tom was the dumbest shit I've ever heard!? Aspinoll didn't get fast tracked to a title like Jon Jones was! Aspinoll has been in the UFC for years and fought and finished everyone??!! So what do you mean?? You been it the sport for a while than maybe you should know these things 🤔?
If you mean before the fight i imagine it's to check that they aren't smothered in vaseline which would make it extremely difficult for their opponent to be able to grab hold of them
Giving Aspinall a title shot wouldn't be based on his "popularity" or his presence on social media. It would be based on him running through the heavyweight division with an average fight time of 2 minutes and also him being the interim heavyweight champion with more title defenses than the current champion. Stipe getting a title shot before Aspinall is a fucking joke and it ruins the sport.
the only problem is that Bisping is friend of Aspinal, and started to look ridiculous to put pressure in a fight that will never happen. Stop it really.
All these jobs on connections, not merit, and people eat it up and wonder why so many suck at what they do - to the point whete a guy who is good at using a Qtip can get on talk shows.
Great timing Bisping to interrupt a great story to go to the commercial break.
Should've let the man finish his story bruh 🙃
I know he only has one eye but sometimes it feels like he has zero ears :)
Commercial break is this fucking cable? Has he ever heard of editing?
Doesn’t even follow up on it wtf
The entire segment felt like Tate interrupting the important part, the ads.
Such a good idea having him in your show.
Looking forward (with my left eye only) when i got time later on
This was very insightful. Great to hear stories from a cutman's point of view.
TATE THE GOAT!!! he truly is an absolute legend in the octagon. Nothing but love for this man.
What a legend! Tate and House are my favourite cut men in the UFC.
When I first starting watching ufc, I thought House was Anderson Silva doing a side quest when he’s not fighting lol
Nah this dude is a clown

This guy knows his shit.
Up until the 1st minute when he opened his mouth about Jon Jones and stipe 😂
Nah. He a clown
Tate seems like a really cool dude! Glad we have guy's like him in the sport
This was SUPER interesting! Thanks!
Great interview! Gotta get a cut man update every so often
Gotta have him back on, great interview with the cutman
Thanks for the video, Michael Bisping
Bispbing legends never eye 😂get it love the channel brother
Burns & Tate r my favorite Tate duo
I heard that some fighters are very grateful and even very generous because of his knowledge and integrity.( Do Bronx and Burns love his work).
Tate vs Koz was epic!
Is tate tryna say Tom is asking for a title shot bc he’s popular? Wtf he’s the interim champ . Did I hear that right
He have mouths to feed leave ma man alone 😂
Ya that was a weird take
Nights gotta have eachothers backs, what you expect 😂

Haven't seen Tate on a pod since the Jamal Hill one 😂 🔥
He was on the Show me the money Podcast. Great Convo between him, Moicano and Burns
🎉🎉🎉
Tom Aspinall would knock out Jon Jones. Fact. 💯

cutman tate goat
Who else remembers when Josh koscheck said he would beat tates ass and choke him out 😅
Dan Hardy's entered the chat.😂
at that time he could have done so easily.
Tate is awesome. Maybe have him replace Anthony since he obviously hates doing it
Jones paid his dues in another division. Surely not as a heavyweight with one fight!!!
Facts!
He paid his dues as a fighter doesn’t matter about the weight
Good fucking guy man

This video was MADDDDDDD FUNNNNYYYYY FOR NO REASON 🤣
That’s the worst take I’ve ever heard about Tom Aspinall and Jon Jones
Until a few years ago i tought that Brad was "Miesha's" cutman :P
I don't know why I likes the guy. But than I heard him talk...
Bring Tate back
I couldn't make it to the end of the video due to Tate saying the word "like" every 2 seconds.
"If Jon Jones enters a room with Jon Jones, Ike Turner walks out of that room."
Please dj Mickley b make tate a regular
Brad is a huge casual for someone who's been literally in the fight game for two decades. The last thing this pod needs is another company man 😂
I bet him and Derrick lewis get along really good haha
I remember him getting salty at Michel Pereira for taking forever on his walk 😂
What the guy was doing in the cage is a relaxtion method to relax the nervous system and destress the body.
What about koshchek? Does Tate want a rematch?
I love this mf like u wouldnt believe 💪🏻

Tate is a great guy. Passionate about his work and fun to watch him work 🫶
What is it that they're "patting down"? Like what are you checking for by rubbing their arms and abs? I never got that.
If you mean before the fight i imagine it's to check that they aren't smothered in vaseline which would make it extremely difficult for their opponent to be able to grab hold of them
Tales from Tate
It's funny to see how Josh Koscheck's career trajectory has been compared to Tate's😂
22:53 they don’t call him the cut man for no reason

Is this the cut man that Burns only has on his fights?
Yes, he was also a guest at Burns and Moicano's podcast
I remember tate in TUF, I don’t remember who tried to fight him.
Josh Koscheck
Francis ngannou is the elephant in the room the heavyweight division is a mess
And we dint go ba k to the story
This makes sense! Jones and Stipe have both paid their dues!
Once he defended Jon Jones vs Stipe, he exposed himself as a moron

Stopped watching after 2min, I knew Tate would side with John jones to fight stipe over Aspinall
Remember the great Koschec Your a male nurse bro 😂
More views on an interview of a cutman than the reigning welterweight champ 😂
Tate actually killed a man before and beat the case
Tate’s take on the Jones situation made no logical sense
bisping i’ve just been stabbed, can you please call tate.
Vitor knee to Marvin Eastman worst cut I ever seen looked like he'd been hit with an axe

pretty 100% jesus could stop it

Well Adam was pretty useless in this convo 😅
