I forgot this was in two parts, they are so good. It's interesting Ginny seems to be so used to being the one dealing with drama, she's not being very observant of other people being in deep pain or masking.
I felt the VERY same way! She only noticed an issue with Marcus when it affected her (i.e. him not wanting to be in a relationship while depressed). I’m glad she kind of came to her sense on that by the end of the season and was able to REALLY be there for him as a friend. 🥹
I don’t blame Simone for questioning when Zion and Georgia last hooked up. It’s well known that baby daddy’s and baby mama’s get together on-and-off. Last season, Ginny explained that Zion comes into town, hooks up with Georgia, then leaves. And it’s a frequent cycle. Frequent enough that she recognises it.
Ugh! Me too! Through the writing I can see how close the two are although they try to put up a front in public. The way Maxine looks after and notices something is off with Marcus is so heartwarming. And Marcus being able to compliment and uplift his sister when she forgets “she’s that girl” is EVERYTHING! 🥰 It broke my heart to see Marcus so sad this episode, I am glad he had Maxine at the end because he was in so much PAIN.
Georgia killing Cynthia’s husband was Georgia helping Cynthia in a way because Cynthia mentioned that she was tired of waiting to see if he will live another day to the point where she just wanted it all to be over.
Friend I was hoping Georgia didn’t do that and that it was someone else. Especially since Austin was in the wardrobe. 😩 Lord be a fence. That kid is going to need decades of therapy. 🙏🏽
JoiLouise girl can I just say your editing SENDS ME THE F OUT, hilarious everytime. Perfect cuts. And I also still can’t get over the time you said ‘I would be EM to the barrassed’ AHHAHA I CAN.NOT 💀
Thank you so much!! I am super inspired by other reactors and am also a lover of almost all movies and tv shows. Something always reminds me of a funny clip or scene from another show or movie and trust me, it SEND ME just as much as it sends you! LOL!
So many people were shitting on Ginny for their breakup which while she should’ve listened to him so she could understand him…..she isn’t Marcus’s caretaker or guardian. She’s only known him for like 5 months because they really started the show first day of school which was obviously September, and they ended season 2 in most likely mid-late January because it was after the holidays, and they haven’t celebrated Valentines Day yet. So Ginny hasn’t known him for the longest time, so at least in my opinion she shouldn’t be expected to just know everything that’s going on with him even as his girlfriend. Then people try to overlook the fact that she’s also a teenager with her own issues as well, one of them being self harm which is very serious. Also, during their breakup season people were going off on her for it but like I said….Ginny is a literal teenager going through her own shit, she also didn’t hear the whole conversation because she had left. I put this on Georgia because if she had paid attention to Ginny’s mental health from the moment Ginny started showing some signs of not being okay when she was younger….things wouldn’t be so hard for her, and then in season 1 Georgia told Marcus that he was damaged. Marcus didn’t think that in his own, Georgia put that in his head most likely because she was jealous of Ginny being in an actual relationship, and Georgia herself didn’t truly experience that as we already know what the outcome was. Plus with Marcus, yes his best friend had died the year before, but unless something else happened right after that to Marcus that made things worse…..that doesn’t make him damaged, that just makes him heartbroken and possibly depressed…..but not damaged. So I personally blame their breakup on Georgia. While I think Ginny and Marcus are meant for each other, I think it’s not the right time for them to date and they both need to work on themselves a lot.
Hey, Tia boo! Great perspective. One could also argue Georgia’s issues as well. She grew up rather quickly and suffered far worse than Ginny & Marcus war their age. Throw becoming a Mom and probably dealing with PP into it and there’s so much that we don’t know. Georgia did the best she could with what she had. She herself didn’t have the best parents. Who was going to teach her on how to look out for Ginny’s mental health when she was just trying to make sure the girls was fed and safe from predators? Being a parent is not easy and while I am not pacifying her behavior I do think we need to understand why she is the way she is. Child, they all need THERAPY and an exorcism. 😩
@@JoiLouiseReacts definitely….I just think people need to remember that while Georgia did what she did back then because she needed to, she’s no longer a teen she’s a grown adult so she doesn’t have to keep running anymore. There’s the whole topic of Ginny needing to mind her business about her mom’s past but it does in fact impact her as well aka “your past will always have a way of coming back up.” Georgia killing her last 2 husbands, even though she had her reasons….she could go to jail for that, and traumatize her kids with the “our mom killed someone.” Then the credit cards…that’s committing fraud so Ginny and Austin’s credit scores are screwed, killing Cynthia’s husband which even though she did it to help Cynthia….she still killed someone and now the whole town will know. Then of course family drama which who’s to say that Georgia’s parents won’t make an appearance in season 3?
@tiamarrow6366 Lord, when I think about the unknown bodies that Georgia probably has. I wonder if her sister is why she let her Stepdad live. I definitely agree that as adults we need to start taking accountability for our own actions. Georgia has ok to deal with her issues if not for her kids, for herself. It was out of hand with her first husband but now that both kids have an idea of what she’s capable of, this is REALLY going to bite her in the butt in a way she never expected. 🥺
@@JoiLouiseReacts 100% while she did what she needed to do back then, she needs to slow down because if you think about it….she’s broken the law at least like 4-5 times now. Well actually in season 1 literally the first episode when she had Ginny driving them at first….I’m sorry but unless it was established that Ginny had her learners permit at the point, and was legally able to drive with an adult (she was 15, so idk how the laws of Texas going into Massachusetts work when it comes to driving) but right there Georgia could’ve gotten them both arrested in the first episode within the first 10 minutes.
Loved your reaction to this episode babes! Fun fact if you didn’t know? The actor who plays Joe and the actress who plays Padma are brother and sister in real life 💓
Hey, Dante! Thank you boo! Yes, one of you lovely viewers put me on to that last season and it’s such a fun little inside fact. I love seeing them work together and hope we continue to see it in future seasons. 🥰 I want them both to find their people because their characters are super sweet.
@@JoiLouiseReacts yes i know what your saying! They’re both so sweet and definitely deserve people matching their energy💗 I can’t wait for the last couple episodes and wish you all the luck watching it! Have a drink and tissues if needed. See you soon babes! 🫶
@@JoiLouiseReacts only hint I can give is that it’s almost the same episode as 8 but only from Ginny and Georgia’s point of view! instead of Marcus and max’s her point of view. All the way to the gunshot cliffhanger👀
The Stair Comment Was Meant To Be A Joke...Not Serious
Maxine really stepped up as a sibling this season and also as a person by pivoting out of being ONLY focused on herself and not her loved ones too.

This is true! I just want Zion to do right. But he’s tied to Georgia by more than just a daughter so I just KNOW he’s gonna fumble Simone. 😩
I love the relationship between the twins ❤
&& I think this is the best episode of the series yet. Felix’ perfermance as Marcus was spot on ❤

I like how they picked people in their mid 20s that look like actual teenagers.
It’s a Netflix thing I guess. And they do it so well! You can’t tell me that Ginny isn’t 16. 😭 That’s my niece for real!
I love when we get heartfelt sibling moments between Marcus and Maxine.
Me too! They really do love each other and I love seeing it on screen. It’s a simple and genuine kind of love we don’t get to see often.
