You are such a lucky woman to have a hubby that compliments your quilting passions, with his wood working treasures. I love love love your ruler holder. It is awesome. I don't have enough rulers to even fill the top, and I'd be afraid my new purpose would be buying rulers to fill it up! You two are so equally yoked. Two very gifted, talented, loving people. Thank you for sharing a moment of your life with me.
I LOVE the pride that was shown in the video about all the hand built things by ou hubby and family. it was wonderful to see the video keep up the great work both of you.

After reading through so many admiring comments that I totally agree on about you two, I can only add that your family is AWESOME! I wish we were neighbors! But you tube can keep you as our video neighbors at least. Thanks for sharing your talents with us out here. You make this world a better place. God bless you and your loved ones, and a 2015 Merry Christmas!
Totally enjoyed the tour of your quilting area and home. Your husband's projects were very nice! Loved the tables and your quilts. Likd the way you organized your fabric also
Very Nice!! We all need spaces like that for overflow....lol. I look forward to having a room to expand my sewing space. You are lucky that your husband has such building talent. Now off to see more of your videos. Thanks so much for sharing.
You are a delightful lady with a such a great supportive family. I see you're still in the progress in organizing but, as soon as you do you will pull from your stash and things get messy again. I love the idea for you rulers and the table wow a bowling alley - go figure. You're one lucky lady indeed
I love your personality! Love the roominess you have in your sewing room! You should get hubby to recess your sewing machine into the table so you have a flat quilting surface!
Eventhough I do not quilt YET. I would love to have a ruler rack like yours just for it's sheer beauty. It is beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing your fabric stash.
Loved the tour and love all of the wooden furniture and fixtures that Don has made. I had to show my husband because he is bewildered by my stash! I am making my quilt room as we speak John isn't creative with wood but he is an electrician so he will be a help with lighting & outlets. I just got my first long arm machine and love the civil war period also. Maybe some will be interested in a block swap! Debi
Janice, Loved seeing your quilting room video! Haven't quilted in a few years now & it inspired me to go back to it in this New Year! What a great setup & family you have too!!

I love the wood work and the sewing area and most of all Your hospitality! Even the camera man seemed just so likeable. Bless you all!
First time seeing this and getting to know your family. Great family, and so supportive. Tell your husband to patent his frame idea! So many ladies make miniatures and they would be ideal to view and protect. Thanks, and love your portable board and ruler, another thing you should get patented!
This was actually quite entertaining, I enjoyed the big tour...and the humor along with it....such a laid back presentation....we quilters never have enough space nor FABRIC aye? Alot of talent here from the both of you....and your camera fella, was really into it also...just loved this... Thanks for sharing... Ken from Orlando, Fl
I really enjoy this video. I would like you to show more of the books, rulers, you have and the different blockes you can do using the rulers. Where do you get your insperation for your quilts. I love how you have everything organized. Lots of good tips. Thank you. Look forward to more videos.
I want to thank everyone for your comments. Sorry about the long delay with responding. I'm not very computer savvy but I'm learning. We need to update the studio as there have been changes that I'd love to share.
love all the wood working he done for you,i have turned my small bedroom into my sewing room, and i have my quilting frame set up in my living room,it was to long for the sewing room, and the other spare room is my quest room so i couldn't use it for my sewing room, the bed is to big for the small room lol,but it all works ok for me..
Loved the tour! Don should do a video on how he made that wonderful ruler rack. Maybe I can get my son to make me something like it. Also, would like to know how you made the fold-up quilt project "wall". You sound like a fun family. Thanks.

looks like my wonderful hubs needs welcome another honey do fellow into his world. He does sewing room things I dream up. My sewing room was a recent addition he gave me when our daughter and her family moved in with us and needed the bedrooms I used for sewing. He built shelves from floor to ceiling for fabric storage. On special request he used my design for a cutting table with no sharp edges and put outlets every 5' or so. I appreciate all his hard work from foundation and hardwood floor to roof as much as I love and admire his patience with me. I think you feel the same about the special man in your life who does all these things for you.
Thanks for the compliments HJKelley. At this point we do not sell quilts, but Jan is making one now to see how well it will sell. She is putting it on the long arm today.

The portable quilt wall was made out of heavy weight foam board that I bought at wal mart or staples, can't remember. Duct taped the tops together and glued flannel to the boards. Attached a strap to the bottom to keep it upright.
Yes I did make it Angelina. It's been awhile but it's just a presentation board, glued felt to it, and attached a strap to stabilize it when it's opened.
Not real sure what folding quilting wall? I made a folding quilt hanger, but, that was made after the video so I am a little confused. Thanks for the kind words.
