- In today's video I explore the northern half of Manchester city center.
I start on the Ashton canal looking at store street aqueduct (one of Britains first shew arch aqueduct and the oldest still in use)
I then visit Piccadilly basin I visit the only canal lock under a building and then Dale Street warehouse ( the earliest surviving canal warehouse in Manchester city center)
I walk around the northern quarter visiting Affects and what was Smithfield market.
I finally visit Ancoats and visit the oldest remaining cotton mill in the city and explore the history of the area.
Anita street is probably my favourite place to visit in mcr. Keep them coming 👍🏼
@daftmonkey7296, thank you 🙂
Yeah I love it myself, especially with the amount of rebuilding and changes in Manchester city centre. Like stepping back in time
Very interesting.
@midnightroadstuios, thank you for comment 🙂
Best video yet! Loved looking in Afflecks Palace. Good info about it too. And everything else. Big up the curb!
@ReetBoaTellThee, thanks mate. Many memories from my teenage years in afflecks. Happy your enjoying
Centre is RE.
