- We just got home from our first cruise in August 2023 on Norwegian cruise line, and it took us all the way to Barcelona for Embarkation day on the Norwegian Epic for an 11 day Mediterranean cruise. Come along as we experience cruising on Norwegian Cruise line. Lets go cruising!!!

We just got home from a Mediterranean Cruise on the Epic...fantastic! And feel free to compare with Disney Cruise...no comparison...Epic was SO much better with freestyle dining...eat when you want, where you want...and the food on Norwegian was also waaaay better. Best part of Disney was perhaps the shows but we really enjoyed all the shows we went to on the Epic...magician, comedienne, Duelling Pianos, Juggler. The clubs were so fun! And we also took advantage of the free at sea beverage package...amazing 10 day trip! We would do it again in a heartbeat! Oh and unlike the Disney cruise...we rarely had a long wait for the elevators...and not many kids, which was fine too.
That bathroom set is..... something. 🤣🤣🤣

This is the only ncl ship that has this bathroom design... They cancelled the building of other ships that was to have the same design... Most people complain about this French designed bathroom..lol

That was awesome , we've done 3 NCL cruises, love taste and savor, manahattan room, Cagney's steak house! Hung out a lot at the Mojito bar!Thanks for sharing Bryson and Crystal!

Yay! Glad y'all decided to branch out and try something new even though it's not the ship we were all supposed to be on. When I saw that water on your counter, I was like, OMG lol. I forgot about the mirrors until you mentioned them. Your room setup was definitely better than ours lol
You pick the itinerary and the memories over the ship on a trip like this! The travel companions help as well

Hi Bryson and Crystal. How cool to go on an adventure with a new cruise line. The ship did look large. Very fun to go with a group of people as well. I like that they have options you can add on, like the water package. A Starbucks package would be a MUST for me 😂. Like Crystal, the first thing I do when I get to my hotel room is unpack everything. That bathroom/entry situation was very odd. Not sure what they were thinking. You had to be outside of the toilet closet before you could wash your hands 😮😂😊. ~Ali 🎀🏰💖

It might be the ship you were on. We have loved the main dining rooms on other NCL ships

We leave for the Epic on 10/2. Will be our first cruise ever. What type of power outlets are on the ship? US connections or EU connections?
It's your normal cruise ship, it has both US and EU. They are all located in the middle cabinet below the TV
Eat the Spaghetti at the Buffet. I really like the food on the Epic. Don’t like the Pizza.
Our friend got the Spaghetti and did say it was good. I should have done it.
Did you like the cruise. People usually either hate it or love it. The design of the ship and cabins bothers a lot of People. I Love the Food and Entertainment.
@@rodneyscales2648 The itinerary was hands down the reason we did this trip. The ship has pros and cons. We will have a whole video all about it. 😁
Was this your first time in Europe. Rome is my favorite city in the World. Did you go to La Familia in Barcelona. How many sea days. I was on a Transatlantic cruise with a lot of sea days followed by a 7 day cruise with no sea days. New York to Barcelona. I went to Barcelona, Rome, Canes , Florence, Naples, etc.
@rodneyscales2648 I went to Europe as a high schooler, but I didn't appreciate where I was. Rome was amazing, but we loved it all. We were in Port every single day so we always were very busy
Don't forget....They don't want cruisers and other tourists in Barcelona.
Spent 3 days there and went all over exploring the town and ran into 0 issues with the locals. Very friendly in my experience there.
@@ForLoveoftheMouse I expected that. I have been to Barcelona and had a delightful time. It is only a few selfish boneheads that are screwing it up for their neighbors, and visitors.
