How to Hold Split Reins

Here is a video on holding split reins and why you might hold them a few different ways. As always, this is how we do it and might not be the best way for everyone. 🤠 I failed to mention that “junior horses” may be shown in a snaffle bit while direct reining, whereas “senior horses” will be shown neck reined in a curb bit. Don’t forget to check the rulebook for the association in which you compete. 🐴 Keep it ranchy!
