I have bought lr50r and the battery can run only 1h max on 6000lm mode. Is that normal or is something wrong with the battery? Thanks.

I've read a detailed test of LR50R with lumens / temperature by Time. In it, the high 2 mode lasted almost 2hours and half (before minimal light). Note : the LR50R output swings After 15-30 min in the 3 upper light mode due to thermal regulation. Anyway, I would recommend to contact your reseller if your warranty is still working for your battery.

That’s normal. Turbo mode is best used occasionally in short burst to help keep battery full

LR50R with a flip up diffuser is the best of both of course. No need for the 40R to exist is there?

If you want a lot of flood, you want the LR50R with a diffuser. That will give much more flood than the LR40R.
With the LR50R without a diffuser, you also have much more throw than the LR40R.
The LR50R is better at throw, and, with a diffuser, better at flood as well.
They cost the same money, so why buy the LR40R? What advantage does it have?
There's no need for it to exist.

i bought the LR40R over the 50 because the 40R has the brightest strobe Fenix makes. And then brought the LR80R instead of the 50R

no reason to buy the lr40r at this point. LR50r is much more capable and if you want the dual channel concept take a look at the olight marauder mini

Actually i have a good reason for the LR40R v2.0 it has the brightest strobe light of any Fenix flashlight.
