Playthrough Characters are unlocked simply by beating the game as others. For example, beating the game as Blue Knight will unlock the Industrialist, who in turn unlocks Fencer. In multiplayer, you have to make sure that you don't level skip. Level skipping is never a good idea when it comes to unlocking these characters with friends. For the record, it's actually faster if you unlock these characters in single player because multiplayer playthroughs take longer to complete. On 360 the necromancer, open face, king, pink, and blacksmith were dlc you got hatty by getting his game, and got the alien by getting the alien hominid game (super fun btw

I have a level 99 Green Knight and a level 87 Industrialist and I have beaten the game on plenty of characters, I almost have all of Insane Mode completed but I was doing Insane Mode a long time ago so I forgot how to juggle. I’m going to have to learn again in order to get that Golden Skull.
