Visited this mosque last week whist in AD and it took my breath away. The calm and tranquility was spellbinding. The workmanship that must have gone into this was sublime. Truly the most beautiful building I have ever visited.

It truly baffles me that the UAE and other GCC states don't build everything like this, rather than concrete and glass skyscrapers and Americanized suburbs. Just imagine the sight of a genuine Arab city built in white marble!
