Everyone is overlooking how Georgia is the only team that can have 2+ INT’s a game and still win. Convincingly. Sure Beck isn’t the most “fire in the eyes” type, but somehow.. somehow (with a big help from their defense) he keeps winning. Idc how it looks. I’m gonna keep rooting for Georgia. The season ain’t over.
Georgia is a very good team but if Beck gets picked off 2 or 3 times in the playoffs it will be very difficult to overcome. The playoffs are wide open this year, anyone except for the G5 team that makes it will have a chance. The games will be determined by who's hot at the time and turnovers.

People make fun of Aryan Smith for being 50% drops, which I think he's improved, but Carson on deep throws is like..1/15 or something. Like, what can his WR's expect from him? His claim to fame was supposed to be his patience, mind and accuracy; those things don't change with new WR's. I just don't see in Carson what everyone else does. I think unfortunately he's what we got now.
Agree with these comments. Feel the run works with miss direction and jet sweeps. Even with some QB design runs thrown in here and there would help those receivers get separation. I have seen his confidence drop when he does make a good deep pass and recieving botches it. He is still growing but BoBo doesn't help being OC. Hopefully he gets a job offer at Alabama next year so we can get a young aspiring talent. Watched too much BoBo play calling in my life.😅

There are a couple of things going on here. Last year, Carson was not the leader; Bowers and McConkey were the leaders and had the ability to bail Carson out of situations. This year Carson doesn't have the go to person as much, and really doesn't want to be a game manager. To the press, he says he just wants to have fun; but managing the game at the start of the game should be a priority. Carson also avoids getting sacked at the beginning of a game by making low probability throws (throwing into traffic), when he has the option to throw the ball away. He threw the ball away zero times in the GA-FLA game. Other head coaches would bench Carson for having too much fun; however, Kirby thinks Carson is self disciplined enough to make the correction himself. I hope this doesn't bite them in the end.

I dont think its NIL. I just dont think he was ever good. I saw the valls he did throw last yr when Ladd and Brock were healthy and they werent good balls. Its a reason why Stetson 5,11 juco was picked over him the year Carson thought he would be starting. Stetson was short but he threw good balls, a leader of hos team, picked up yards/tds with his legs, and if he threw a int you better believe next drive he did everything in his power to march the team down the field and score. Stetson had a unvelievable since of cinfid3nce that Carson never had. It seems Kirby has to treat him with kid gloves and gently coach him and that is not good. Isn't Rashada a dual threat guy? We really need to see that. This type of offense (good but not great RBs and WRs) needs a run threat at qb. The statue isn't scaring anyone with decent zone coverage.
Gunner Stockton bis a dual threat. He was #1 DT QB out of HS. He also beoke all of Justin Fields passing records. And he had over 700 yards rushing his senior year.

My thoughts as well. Carson is a natural introvert and that's not always good in leadership where he is forced to get out of his comfort zone and engage others. Unfortunately his chosen position in this profession requires him to uplift and support those around him.

Dropped passes for Texas I could agree. But no Florida. The issues happening in Florida were entirely on Carson. Even when he got hit and threw the pick, he didn't see the pressure. Didn't adjust the blocking scheme. Every time he gets rushed, there is a wide open lane to climb the pocket. He isn't reading the defense properly. He just ISNT that guy. He is mid caliber at best. The main change this year is James Coley. We went from a highly respected WR coach in Brian McClendon (now in Tampa) - who replaced the king - Cortez Hankton (Now at LSU). Coley is a decent recruiter. He may be an ok analyst. He's had very little success as an offensive coach. Kirby needs to finally realize that putting his friends in coaching positions is nice and fun for family time, but not the best way to create the best team. (I miss Monken!)
I think you started to get to it with the NIL etc, but u backed off. I perceive a pressured anxiety. His mental and physical tension is just too high. These kids don’t yet have the cognitive ability to not only juggle the normal W-L problems of regular ball, but add to it the NIL/social media verdicts (like what we’re doing here) PLUS what comes with that, the Imposter Syndrome, and “Will my hot girlfriend still love me?”; and u see guys shifting from an Attacking Game mentality to a Defending Game, which is a whole other mindset!!
Both of his first two interceptions were ON FIRST DOWN. The 2nd was into TRIPLE COVERAGE, again, on FIRST DOWN. That problem is between the ears, and very hard to correct.

It’s not all Carson. 2 of our best WR’s got kicked off the team for outside shenanigans. Colbie and rara were supposed to be the DUDES, especially after losing mcconkey and bowers. Not having those 1-2 guys that are reliable makes Carson’s job way more difficult, something he won’t have to worry too much about in the NFL. I know stats don’t look good but UGA is still winning by multiple scores even with the offense not playing well. Carson will have his wake up call hopefully sooner than later but the Florida game was really the first game where the INT’s were mostly on Beck and his decisions. Not worried about it, our defense is the best in the country and will lead this team to a natty. Just keep believing in this team

Appreciate your insights, Aaron. Carson is definitely forcing the ball and trying to make plays when they just aren’t there. He has more talent and football intelligence to lead GA to another natty- but he needs to lean more into managing the game, and not forcing errors. Fromm was criticized for being just a game manager, but GA needs more of that right now. Play the play, take what the defense gives, dont spot your opponent points, let your playmakers do what they do. All the pieces are in place, just need a QB to manage the gameplay and lead us to victory.
I agree. Move the chains, get the first downs. Dink and dunk is perfectly fine…they don’t have to be highlight long throws. And don’t throw into multiple coverages when there should be other receivers either uncovered or in single coverage. Which brings up Bobo’s play calling, but that’s another conversation.

Great Video Aaron. Excellent advice from somebody who has been there. You know Ole Miss players are going to be trying to jump the passes trying to get an interception. Carson should just down shift a little and throw good passes not "hero" passes. Everyone knows you are great at winning football games. Just relax a little. His defenses still have a problem holding the edges. His outside guys keep jumping inside way too soon and allowing backs to sweep outside for long runs. Thet didn't happen with Lannings and Muschamps defenses.

I'm shocked at the amount of fans that are hating on Carson Beck. I learned my lesson a couple of Nattys ago. Beck is fine but a possession receiver is not earning it with drops on third down and wrong routes. Tips, deflections, waiting on the ball to arrive instead of getting it. Blocking is also had a few contributions and backfield missed a few blitzes. He was nailed against Florida and ball came out early for interceptions. Beck has a few bone headed throws also. Lack of running game is pressure on Beck. Receivers and Beck will show up in Oxford and if he throws O or 3 he's my QB. Go Dawgs
That's the problem. Beck CAN"T be sure the plays will come because as an offense team, the execution has been garbage. Guys running the wrong routes, perimeter blocking has been subpar, etc. And we are not getting the explosive plays that we used to get without throwing it 20+ yards like we used to get under Monken.
We miss Stetson far more than Brock or Ladd! Stetson had touch on the deep ball and he could take off and run "effectively"! He would take the hit to get the extra yard! HE had some DAWG in him!

Stetson had a unvelievable since of cinfid3nce that Carson never had. It seems Kirby has to treat him with kid gloves and gently coach him and that is not good. Also Bobo needs to call more run plays to help the lack of efficiency of Beck.

Isn't Rashada a dual threat guy? We really need to see that. This type of offense (good but not great RBs and WRs) needs a run threat at qb. The statue isn't scaring anyone with decent zone coverage.
Gunner Stockton bis a dual threat. He was #1 DT QB out of HS. He also beoke all of Justin Fields passing records. And he had over 700 yards rushing his senior year.
Rashada has real game Div 1 experience starting as a freshman at Arizona State and showed he throws a good deep ball and is mobile.

Bobo called a long developing pass on 3rd and 2. Beck got sacked. Bobo insists on calling WR screens, and 3rd and 2 is the perfect time to do so. But no, he calls a long developing pass instead. Bobo also calls running plays after EVERY offensive penalty. If a false start happens, bet your last dollar Bobo calls a running play.
Another thing that bothers me is they're not utilizing tight ends hardly ever other than blocking

Dropped passes for Texas I could agree. But no Florida. The issues happening in Florida were entirely on Carson. Even when he got hit and threw the pick, he didn't see the pressure. Didn't adjust the blocking scheme. Every time he gets rushed, there is a wide open lane to climb the pocket. He isn't reading the defense properly. He just ISNT that guy. He is mid caliber at best. The main change this year is James Coley. We went from a highly respected WR coach in Brian McClendon (now in Tampa) - who replaced the king - Cortez Hankton (Now at LSU). Coley is a decent recruiter. He may be an ok analyst. He's had very little success as an offensive coach. Kirby needs to finally realize that putting his friends in coaching positions is nice and fun for family time, but not the best way to create the best team. (I miss Monken!)

It’s not all Carson. 2 of our best WR’s got kicked off the team for outside shenanigans. Colbie and rara were supposed to be the DUDES, especially after losing mcconkey and bowers. Not having those 1-2 guys that are reliable makes Carson’s job way more difficult, something he won’t have to worry too much about in the NFL. I know stats don’t look good but UGA is still winning by multiple scores even with the offense not playing well. Carson will have his wake up call hopefully sooner than later but the Florida game was really the first game where the INT’s were mostly on Beck and his decisions. Not worried about it, our defense is the best in the country and will lead this team to a natty. Just keep believing in this team
Why does Carson have so much paint of his face? Does he have glare problems, because if he don't, then he sucks. We cannot continue with this interception binge. Prize Pic's should have a betting line on Carson Beck “over or under on interceptions”. I would win every week with the over prediction.
Appreciate your insights, Aaron. Carson is definitely forcing the ball and trying to make plays when they just aren’t there. He has more talent and football intelligence to lead GA to another natty- but he needs to lean more into managing the game, and not forcing errors. Fromm was criticized for being just a game manager, but GA needs more of that right now. Play the play, take what the defense gives, dont spot your opponent points, let your playmakers do what they do. All the pieces are in place, just need a QB to manage the gameplay and lead us to victory.
I agree. Move the chains, get the first downs. Dink and dunk is perfectly fine…they don’t have to be highlight long throws. And don’t throw into multiple coverages when there should be other receivers either uncovered or in single coverage. Which brings up Bobo’s play calling, but that’s another conversation.

But when we repeatedly have zero receivers in the middle of the field…especially on short to middle routes…those plays reflect the play calling. Beck - for whatever reason - forces the ball too frequently, and I think Aaron noted that. But while I’m coach couching, you misused “too”.

Great Video Aaron. Excellent advice from somebody who has been there. You know Ole Miss players are going to be trying to jump the passes trying to get an interception. Carson should just down shift a little and throw good passes not "hero" passes. Everyone knows you are great at winning football games. Just relax a little. The people on the sidelines love it when you throw them the ball when there is nothing there in the field.
He did play very well last year. His regression is shocking. The chemistry between him and the receivers is not good. Bell hollered at a Carson when he missed Bell in the end zone.

His defenses still have a problem holding the edges. His outside guys keep jumping inside way too soon and allowing backs to sweep outside for long runs. Thet didn't happen with Lannings and Muschamps defenses.

I'm shocked at the amount of fans that are hating on Carson Beck. I learned my lesson a couple of Nattys ago. Beck is fine but a possession receiver is not earning it with drops on third down and wrong routes. Tips, deflections, waiting on the ball to arrive instead of getting it. Blocking is also had a few contributions and backfield missed a few blitzes. He was nailed against Florida and ball came out early for interceptions. Beck has a few bone headed throws also. Lack of running game is pressure on Beck. Receivers and Beck will show up in Oxford and if he throws O or 3 he's my QB. Go Dawgs

That's the problem. Beck CAN"T be sure the plays will come because as an offense team, the execution has been garbage. Guys running the wrong routes, perimeter blocking has been subpar, etc. And we are not getting the explosive plays that we used to get without throwing it 20+ yards like we used to get under Monken.
