I will say I appreciate the increased timer. Been to many matches where Seereax could have done something but timer started ticking to 0 right as he was figuring stuff out.
Excuses
I like the increased timer too. For both players honestly, in a series where you’re seeing cards and reading them for the first time, the standard timer can be too short.
I’d much rather the game in life points than the timer.

The special summon of Lady Lapis Lazuli is a hard once per turn even though the burn damage is a soft once per turn.

@@Ninpo.lightskin.mode.activated Fusion summoning is one of the many types of special summoning. Plus the card text says "You can only special summon 'Gem Knight Lady Lapis Lazuli' once per turn.
There's 2 types of summoning. Normal and special. There's 3 types of normal summoning. Normal summon in atk, set, and tribute summon.
There used to be only 3 special summons via card effect, fusion, and ritual. Then over the years they added synchro, xyz, and link

You know I'm mostly on Seereax's side in these duels, but respect to Sam in that 2nd duel. Giving him the chance to play gem knights with the good support he was missing was a generous and helpful move. Even if Sam was playing Zoodiacs, that was still an honourable move, and I wanted to bring that up. Anyways, Sam was cheating 😂

@seanbutnotheard13 Yeah true but I saw it as their standard frenemy approach. But admittedly, it was thanks to that arrogance that Seereax got to pull off the gem knight burn (which he didn't mess up but made Sam think he messed up 😏)

Having the increased timer makes this so much enjoyable. Watching SeeReax be able to learn his deck and have him duel confidently really brings out the best of your duels
You two bounce off of each other really well, it really is like watching two brothers. The authenticity of the competitive part of the series isn't what important, especially given the multiple adlibs to the rules that happen, it's just about two dudes dueling with decks they may or may not have used before. Keep up the great work you two!

I’m a huge fan of this series, it’s a great way to give some other decks a chance to show what they can do, and learning how to play a deck by using it and reading the cards and figuring out synergies is one of the most rewarding moments of yugioh as a whole
I actually like that seereax now listens to some sam advice, seereax is good he just doesn't understand some of the decks so he listening actually make the duels more entertaining cause he understands it

The higher the tier, the more advantageous sam is. Seereax thrive at niche decks like what he said at the beginning. Great series though props to TSX1 channel! Enjoyed the series so far.
Sam stopping the duel to cook Seereax's deck construction and then proceed to help him improve it has got to be one of the best moments in this entire series. At first it was kind of like watching a caveman brought into the modern day but if we start seeing more moments of Seereax learning the ins and outs of modern Yugioh it would honestly be amazing.
The crazy part is tat Seereax had a pretty good deck for taking down Zoodiacs he just didn't know to play Gem Knights fully
Which is entirely his fault and frankly I hate his approach when it comes to modern Yugioh decks because his entire argument falls apart when that's literally how all Yugioh decks have been made.

I'm Australian. We have many strange animals here, ranging from the non-dangerous Frilled-neck Lizard to the Platypus to the Echidna, Wombat and Koala, to the deadly Kangaroo and Cassowary. No Armadillos though.
I didn't know Gem Knights were capable of this. I have the same feeling with Seereax on those. They don't really look cool to care.
