I just purchased this pen, numbered 072. I absolutely LOVE this. This is the most expensive pen I've ever owned and I wasn't 100% sure about the purchase but when I put diamine velvet blue (which was recommended by an ink expert), it did its magic. Being Asian, the design worked out perfectly. this grid design looks like the traditional windows design. These windows are made of wood and usually have white rice paper attached to filter the light and block the wind. So if you look at the windows closed at dusk, the stream of light shimmers through. The blue (the light at dusk) and rose gold (the wooden structure) recreate the beauty of that time of a day elegantly. If it were in silver color, it wouldn't feel like wood, more like metal. The red is way too Chinese. Other than Chinese, most of the east asian countries do not use red that much (well "most of the east asian" would be South Korea and Japan, ahem ahem) Anyways, whoever designed this fountain pen, I send my applaud and appreciation. Well done! Thanks Jose for the thorough review. I learned a lot more than the seller I bought mine from!

Beautiful pen and good review! You asked about the length of your videos. I like them the way they are. I prefer this over videos under 10 minutes. It's nice to spend some time together with the person (you) who made the video.

Awesome, thank you! could do most of the features in 10 min but it wont leave me time to really get to the points that may be what a possible future owner of such a pen can use to make an assessment If something like this is the one to get :D

@@pen.venture I think you are right about that too. You can get some more personal opinions and feelings across when you take more time.

Personally, I love Visconti pens and I am happy to see the traditional Asian pattern in their pen. I think the pen looks gorgeous but Visconti had to prepare special box for this pen. Visconti knows how to impress people with pen and the box "together".

That’s one expensive pen costing more than twice the price of a Visconti HS lava pen at $2,542 USD.

yup - its costing more than twice than a Bronze Age hs, its a different size/style and using different materials and techniques
