ABOUT THE CHALLENGE:
Each crafter gets a name - I got Jennifer - and you go shopping for supplies to fill a box. This time around, we were to get 10-12 Dollar Tree and I selected 2 challenge items she had to use. Then I shipped it off to her.
Yami sent me a box and then I had to craft with the contents. I always try to use everything in the box (it’s a great challenge for me) and we all also had to incorporate yarn into our crafts.
I’m proud to report, I was successful in all the challenges. Check out the video to see how these seven Dollar Tree crafts came together!

I love how it draws out the personality of each participant. Additionally, I like observing the puzzlement on each's face when viewing each item for the first time, then, after a thoughtful look, the image of a "light bulb" lighting up--the "wheels turning!"

I have to say my favorite was the the creative way you used the garden dish and bottle to create a pendant light. Please be careful that the plastic doesn’t get too warm. That would’ve never crossed my mind. Thank you for sharing all of your ideas. I think I would’ve used the ball and cup to make a flower and weave yarn or twine or ribbon in and out of the holes or even make a light with it. I have never watched your channel but I will definitely tune in for future DIY’s. One more thing. It was so cute to watch the little one enjoy the ball/cup catcher. Kids don’t need all of these fancy toys. Simple ones help them to learn and how to be more creative.

You did a fabulous job with your mystery box Whitney! Yes, the succulents gave you a run for your money, but in the end, you won out. Is it your best, no, but it certainly isn't awful either. I think it looks cute and I think it would be cute in a bathroom. I did realize when you first talked about hot gluing it up into a flower that the glue wasn't going to stick well-only because they are more "silicone" type of materials. But you got it to stick in the end, so my hats off to you and your perseverance! I would have given up. lol Great job! Hugs, Brenda
