One thing I wish car x would do is make it so console players don’t have to wait extra time for a update when pc gets the benifit. I wish we could all get it at the same time it’s really annoying
Its PTR - player test review. Known to most as a beta test. We test the bugs before they get put out on console. That's why you see ptr v1 and up to v5 sometimes. We work out the bugs, so it's not rushed like other games. Also, the best thing would be to update to a pc Regardless. I know it may not be the most cost-effective thing for some, but it is the best way for any gamer to enjoy the games period
It takes longer for fact that they have to optimize and find a way to implement the updates for console format. Its easy to add stuff like this to pc but console on you don't have the same amount of freedom
100%! console licensing and approval also takes awhile
But y’all PC players still get to enjoy all of the fun beta testing or not.

Should be a pretty easy port from Kino to Workshop hopefully as all the good Japanese maps exist in Kino already.
@NathanElcoate it uses a different system but people have been ifguring it out and already dropping in sick maps. Absolutely awesome addition to the game

They said not until later, 2024. I'm hoping then mean later on in time, early 2024, but it's unfortunately more likely they mean later in 2024 and not for a while

Yessir. Almost a year ago they confirmed it when they announced the map loader being worked on.

Look at the update they put out two days ago. Its almost done. Ps and xbox on there end was making it hars to get the mods out to console users.
Seems to be like 90% done. Waiting on microsoft and ps approval

Does anyone know if they will make better car sounds ? They are getting old and very mobile game like. I understand it was a mobile game to start but they have been dropping the BEST updates ever and having better car sounds would change the game immediately.
I really hope they do. Theyve done some sounds adjustments in previous updates. Hoping there will be better ones in the future

While CarX is a good game for people on console and mobile. There isnt much point playing it on PC when Assetto corsa is just miles ahead of CarX in every single way
Assetto is the sim champ. But cant get doors with console players along with the amount of fun and customization in carx, it trumps ac ten fold. Even with the driving of ac being leaps and bounds better. I love both equally though. I wouldnt pick one over the other.
