Unlike BP who has only 4 members, BM has 7. So, it is very difficult to distribute the lines to rappers when there are rapping parts. Quite often, Jennie did not have rapping parts because there just wasn't enough time for it. I do agree that Asa should sing more and give some rap lines to Ruka or YG should just increase the length of the song to 4+ minutes.

The ones who can really belt are Ahyeon (hasn't debuted yet, but she'll return to the group in a few months with the mini-album; she has the widest range of all members) and Haram/Rami (watch BABYMONSTER'S "Christmas Without You" cover), but search "Ruka high note" if you want to hear the squeaks...
the "high belter" is Rami (that blonde braid girl/the one with bangs and kinda yellow gown), you can check out her "Pick up your feelings" cover she has this really amazing vocal runs. Aside from Rami, we also have Ahyeon as the high belter but she is not in this MV (due to her hiatus bcoz of health) but we gonna see her again on April for their album release. If you curious tho, you can check out her cover "Dangerously" it went viral along with Rami's Pick up your feelings.

babymonster has actually 7 members. 3 can belt, one who can is on hiatus now. 7 out of 7 can sing. this one was just made to be airy and delicate, but they have wide ranges. if you watch their individual performances when they were still trainees. okay, lemme edit. 6/7 can sing, the other one is given rap lines most of the time but can carry a tune as well.

I think Rora and Rami are more in charge to give a heavier sounds to the group. From all of their three songs (and Christmas song as well) so far, Rora main role is to give more emotions to the song, all of her line so far are mostly emotional lines
Not every song needs or have to do heavy vocal tones or difficult vocal techniques BTW. It depends on the concept of the song, music video and what they want to achieve. Because looking back at their survival show they can DEFINITELY show their powerful and heavy vocal skills but like i said, they won't show that with every song. And another thing that i forgot to mention, this is a group full of teenagers (13 to 17 yrs old members), so they are still developing their voices too, which is INSANE.
umm i think the creator of this video is aware that "not every song needs or have to do heavy vocal tones".... anyway, i agree with the creator here.... i wouldve preferred more chest voice, theres a bit too much falsetto and it slightly limited the song's potential. rhat being said this is far and away my favorite song at the moment, it's still so good

Yeah this is my favorite song of them. I was so mad when batter up came out because i know how vocally talented these girls are thanks to their survival and their pre debut song Dream. This is their strength, it doesn't need to be a ballad all the time, there's more genres that you can show your vocals like Pop, Rock, Mixx pop (like NMIXX do), R&B, etc... as long as they show their vocals. And just like this song, they can still show their rap skills with any of these genres without sacrificing vocals.

I’m so glad to see you reacted to the song this early and I look forward to you seeing their other performances and I am excited to watch them live too. They have a few vocalists in the group. I like the different textures in their voices. Rami has a deeper tone and I believe she is the best belter but I also love Rora and Chiquita’s voices. Pharita has a nice stylistic tone that’s more apparent in her lower register. Ahyeon, the last member that will be rejoining hopefully soon, is also a strong singer and rapper. So excited for what they come out with next!
Pharita(the one that got the high notes)is probably sub/lead vocal while rora and rami(first chorus) have the best vocals and another good singer that will cone back soon can reach the high notes aswell and asa which was the one that sang after the first chorus is probably sub aswell

Actually there is one who get every time the most line is rami( the girl with blond braid hair) she have a really unique tone and really know how to control her voice. There’s no official position but we know that she is the main vocalist. ( she has a crazy agility, riffs, and high note- you can see this in her cover let me love you and pick up your feelings ) We have also the one with the green dress at the debut. She sing habitually with deep and powerful voice ( she cover someone you loved ) Practically All the adlibs that you heard are from rami. Ahyeon( will rejoin the group in April ) and pharita ( the one who did the high note ) has the most high pich voice of the group. I hope that this can help you, really good reaction I loved It 🙌

Batter Up and Stuck In the Middle are sung with 6 girls, but there is one more, She will be the main high tone singer. Ahyeon. She will make her debute April 1 when the mini album is dropped according to YG. So currently with just the 6 girls, Pharita is holding down Main Vocals and she has a decent mid/high tone. and her english is the best amongst all these girls so she obviously sings in english a lot clearer then the others. although they all sound great to me. Rami should be the main vocal currently but she is second behind Pharita currently. she has that whistle high note which I wished they used in this song. you can hear it on there Christmas cover song. What i like about this song is that they didn't changed much for post production..you can clearly hear their breathing coz some producers are removing that for much more clean sound and pharita's high notes literally sounds like that. When i first heard them i thought her voice was kinda edited at some point but when i watched their introduction she sounds exactly thesame when she's practicing in their room😭 hope you'll do their introduction and evaluation performances reaction

The girl that you like the voice, that is Asa, one of the rappers (my 2nd ult). And you must wait for Ahyeon as that girl's voice range is so amazing. Her voice is so high that you would thibk she has a different mic among the girls 😁 she's my ult bias tho. She'll be back in April, they will re-record the songs that was released already too ❤
Regarding your questions about belter or hi-tone. The first thing you should know is that this is their 2nd song as a six member group. They were formed as a seven member group but one member had to take a hiatus for health reasons and was unable to participate in the debut and in this pre-release song. They have a mini-album that is supposed to drop on 4/1, and YG stated last week that the member on hiatus, Ahyeon, has recovered fully and that the songs released as six member will be rerecorded with all seven members for the album. Pharita was the one hitting the belt tones at the end. The hi-tones were handled by Rami(Haram). Ahyeon actually has the highest range in the group and is quite the belter as well. I can't wait to hear how the OT7 versions will turn out.
Not sure if you are aware yet. They have a 7th member who was not here for their first song plus this song due to health hiatus. But both songs will be rerecorded with her by the time of the April comeback. Don't know if they will declare main vocalist positions since there is a trend in kpop now to not declare official positions anymore. It's not clear to me who the main vocalists are because Rami (one with the bangs who was in giant bubble) can hit like dog whistle type high notes and can perform with more of a mature r&b style while Rora (in the green) has many saying she has the most solid vocal foundations and nice lower register so has a lot of potential for the future but hasn't been given the most attention-grabbing parts thus far and Ahyeon (who has been on hiatus) seems to have the most power vocals and is one of their best belters but has a bit more metallic sound to her voice and Pharita's vocals which were focused on a lot here have been featured prominently in the songs they've done so far. So there's probably 4 contenders for main vocalist if they plan to declare main vocalists and each is unique so I don't even think there is a best, just different members will be the best for different moments in songs. It remains to be seen how they will split things up when they are 7. I personally really love the sound of Chiquita and Asa's voices a lot too. Such clean pretty voices.

They can pull it off live. Love Rora's voice when she's singing mid tones ( unfortunately not in any of their songs yet), but like she did in the pre-debut group selection videos. Also want to see Rami in that range again. Their voices each shine a bit more when it's at lower registers, becomes more similar in the head voices like this mv. But it is pretty. Also Asa, gosh love her voice it's so sweet and light since she probably wasn't taught to sing in the typical breathy YG way like the Vocals because they trained her for rapping. It makes it special when in the mix with the vocal line.

the "high belter" is Rami (that blonde braid girl/the one with bangs and kinda yellow gown), you can check out her "Pick up your feelings" cover she has this really amazing vocal runs.
Aside from Rami, we also have Ahyeon as the high belter but she is not in this MV (due to her hiatus bcoz of health) but we gonna see her again on April for their album release. If you curious tho, you can check out her cover "Dangerously" it went viral along with Rami's Pick up your feelings.

I think Rora and Rami are more in charge to give a heavier sounds to the group. From all of their three songs (and Christmas song as well) so far, Rora main role is to give more emotions to the song, all of her line so far are mostly emotional lines

Not every song needs or have to do heavy vocal tones or difficult vocal techniques BTW. It depends on the concept of the song, music video and what they want to achieve. Because looking back at their survival show they can DEFINITELY show their powerful and heavy vocal skills but like i said, they won't show that with every song.
And another thing that i forgot to mention, this is a group full of teenagers (13 to 17 yrs old members), so they are still developing their voices too, which is INSANE.

Yeah this is my favorite song of them. I was so mad when batter up came out because i know how vocally talented these girls are thanks to their survival and their pre debut song Dream. This is their strength, it doesn't need to be a ballad all the time, there's more genres that you can show your vocals like Pop, Rock, Mixx pop (like NMIXX do), R&B, etc... as long as they show their vocals. And just like this song, they can still show their rap skills with any of these genres without sacrificing vocals.

I’m so glad to see you reacted to the song this early and I look forward to you seeing their other performances and I am excited to watch them live too. They have a few vocalists in the group. I like the different textures in their voices. Rami has a deeper tone and I believe she is the best belter but I also love Rora and Chiquita’s voices. Pharita has a nice stylistic tone that’s more apparent in her lower register. Ahyeon, the last member that will be rejoining hopefully soon, is also a strong singer and rapper. So excited for what they come out with next!

Actually there is one who get every time the most line is rami( the girl with blond braid hair) she have a really unique tone and really know how to control her voice. There’s no official position but we know that she is the main vocalist. ( she has a crazy agility, riffs, and high note- you can see this in her cover let me love you and pick up your feelings )

Batter Up and Stuck In the Middle are sung with 6 girls, but there is one more, She will be the main high tone singer. Ahyeon. She will make her debute April 1 when the mini album is dropped according to YG.
So currently with just the 6 girls, Pharita is holding down Main Vocals and she has a decent mid/high tone. and her english is the best amongst all these girls so she obviously sings in english a lot clearer then the others. although they all sound great to me.

The girl that you like the voice, that is Asa, one of the rappers (my 2nd ult). And you must wait for Ahyeon as that girl's voice range is so amazing. Regarding your questions about belter or hi-tone. The first thing you should know is that this is their 2nd song as a six member group. They were formed as a seven member group but one member had to take a hiatus for health reasons and was unable to participate in the debut and in this pre-release song. They have a mini-album that is supposed to drop on 4/1, and YG stated last week that the member on hiatus, Ahyeon, has recovered fully and that the songs released as six member will be rerecorded with all seven members for the album. Pharita was the one hitting the belt tones at the end. The hi-tones were handled by Rami(Haram). Ahyeon actually has the highest range in the group and is quite the belter as well. I can't wait to hear how the OT7 versions will turn out.

Not sure if you are aware yet. They have a 7th member who was not here for their first song plus this song due to health hiatus. But both songs will be rerecorded with her by the time of the April comeback. Don't know if they will declare main vocalist positions since there is a trend in kpop now to not declare official positions anymore. It's not clear to me who the main vocalists are because Rami (one with the bangs who was in giant bubble) can hit like dog whistle type high notes and can perform with more of a mature r&b style while Rora (in the green) has many saying she has the most solid vocal foundations and nice lower register so has a lot of potential for the future but hasn't been given the most attention-grabbing parts thus far and Ahyeon (who has been on hiatus) seems to have the most power vocals and is one of their best belters but has a bit more metallic sound to her voice and Pharita's vocals which were focused on a lot here have been featured prominently in the songs they've done so far. So there's probably 4 contenders for main vocalist if they plan to declare main vocalists and each is unique so I don't even think there is a best, just different members will be the best for different moments in songs. It remains to be seen how they will split things up when they are 7. I personally really love the sound of Chiquita and Asa's voices a lot too. Such clean pretty voices.

They can pull it off live. Love Rora's voice when she's singing mid tones ( unfortunately not in any of their songs yet), but like she did in the pre-debut group selection videos. Also want to see Rami in that range again. Their voices each shine a bit more when it's at lower registers, becomes more similar in the head voices like this mv. But it is pretty. Also Asa, gosh love her voice it's so sweet and light since she probably wasn't taught to sing in the typical breathy YG way like the Vocals because they trained her for rapping. It makes it special when in the mix with the vocal line.
