Good for you what did that take 11 days nice buck.?would that take the same time 10 years ago after no wolf management just a question not a insult I used to hunt in the area gave up down to only one buck in spring early summer quickly disappeared by wolves and Oct to Oct trail camera showed only one fawn in a wolf's mouth in June and that's covering a square mile

Thanks for watching. No insult taken. This season was definitely one we weren't used to. Something definitely needs to be done! It's heart-wrenching to watch the demise of our deer herd right before our eyes. Wolves have always been in the area, but noticing more predators on trail cams than game is worrisome, especially for the future of this sport. Hopefully, those in power will realize the need for a change as well.

You're right. Something needs to be done. It's unfortunate that it has come to this, but many are starting to see the devastating effects. The Minnesota Deer Hunters Association is the largest conservation organization in the state. They put the protection and sustainability of the wild whitetail deer herd first along with our heritage of hunting. They are taking the MN wolf issue head-on, among others. Even accomplishing things at the capital to ensure proper literature is written into passed legislation to eventually fight and adopt a future wolf hunt in our state. It has become evident over the last several years wolves most definitely need to be managed. The best thing we can do is raise our voices, creating one unified message. Although wolves are a HUGE issue in the northern area, they are not the only issue. A statewide drought this past summer, after coming out of several consecutive harsh winters. Inadequate thermal cover, over browsing, predation, over harvesting, poor herd management, and malnutrition all play a hand in what we are currently witnessing, and these deer need some help! Thank you for watching!

@wheezyoutdoors3684 no we need to uncover who the dnr is being paid off by and figure out why our resources are being destroyed and now they want to destroy our state by introducing feral pigs so where do you think they would do that?I would put a good bet up north in your back yard because that's how they work the problems we have are so deep it's sick

What a shame not the deer but What up north has become but hey global warming is the problem with moose and harsh winter's for deer is the dnr completely against us does anyone see what's happening in front of our eyes to take our rights away and tell our children they shouldn't hunt hey instead let's pet wolves ? Does anyone see the big picture for the democrats. It's coming my son quite hunting deer with me I don't blame him for it it sucks to watch trees blow

It is very hard to watch the demise of our resources, especially when we know what can be done. We, too, have young children who we anticipate to bring up into this tradition, just as we were. But it will be hard if we don't see improvement. How long will a young person (or even a seasoned hunter) sit without seeing anything and still hold interest? Thank you for watching.

Must not be any global warming on Isle Royals. 16 miles off the tip of the Minnesota arrowhead and the moose population was increasing at 21.6 percent a year when the wolves died off!

We do hope to provide better footage in the future, but currently as a couple who owns a business and with two small children, we are lacking significantly on the proper equipment, and knowledge as we are still learning videography. With that being said, even so, we still like to provide people with a glimpse into our lives and adventures. Whether filmed or not, we hope that people find value and entertainment in what we do have to offer. Our skills and knowledge for what we do and the efforts of our pursuits are sure to benefit some, though not all. Nonetheless, we still thank you for watching and for your valuable input. Thank you!
