I graduated in 2001 and had promised myself a Porsche. So, I bought a 996 in 2003. Been a great car with no issues. I do not buy my cars for appreciation. I buy them to keep. Hilarious to me how people tell me that I do not own a real Porsche.
Nice video but there are bound to have been some cool 914's you could have showcased at least one instead only 911's. If not rename the video hottest modified 911's.
-What a great way to immediately know if I am looking at a 964 or 993. Wipers are the key. On 993 they are very close together like there are "cuddling" :-) -AND the 993 has the the up-dated chassis which make it more modern = Mod -Having the cars tucked in between racks of rims is artsy and exciting way to display the special P-cars. -I have seen Vu speak before but not Many. M. does a great job speaking clearly, showing his enthusiasm and of course his wide range of knowledge on Porsches -I don't care about over-landing or utility type P-cars. Everyone gets their opinion, this is mine. -Not a fan of electric cars. I will never own any brand including Porsche but I understand why there might be some. -Here is another persons opinion but well known. Was it Dan Gurney or Mario Andretti...who said something like "When there are no more gas engines I want to be dead." ME 2 "A garage without a Porsche is just a dark hole" -Walter Rohrl - Porsche Development
Love seeing the different takes on owners cars. BUT, WTF is with only showing 911s. I could see, 356, 550, 914s in the background. Porsche does make other models that can be modified. So for that, one star. Could have been a great video. No surprise only 32k views.
Intro music was better and the video in general was not as your boring as "I have the Keys, lets drive it One Mile". My 12 year old is over the Moon about Porsche, but today was one of those video's you guys did here that caught his eye and keep him entertained. He is NOT into 3-4 guys around a table talking about Porsches, but wants to SEE them and with video content comparable to other top TH-camr's he watch's. If you want to catch those younger Porsche enthusiasts that will one day be buying our vintage Porsches and replacing us Old Guys. Make these types of video's that catch their Eyes and are Entertaining. Because in 10 - 20 years I will need a base of youngsters that now have the buying power to buy my now vintage Porsche. If not, it will end like stamps collecting and coin collecting with Porsche! We need those younger viewers to become Porsche enthusiasts early to fill that gap when we Old Guys parish. They will be filling our shoes and our enthusiasm of Porsche's. Keep these types of video's coming and Porsche will have long future!
Fantastic cars, including that gorgeous grey 550 Spyder and the Rough World Porsches from Japan. However, the electrified Porsches IMO are aberrations. They would never be there if the government wasn't hyping this technology decades before it's time. Just down the lake from is a beautiful new home - necessitated by a lithium battery in a GARDEN TRACTOR that immolated itself and the very nice original dwelling. There are WAY over a million gas pumps in the USA, and only thousands of charging stations - many of them powered by diesel-fueled portable generators! Full recharge times are 4 to 24 hours, rendering them potentially useless in emergencies and horrid for long trips. Battery-powered cars are suffering from severe depreciation, making them disastrous investments. And if we all decided to lose money and buy one, the electric grid would collapse, including thousands of local transformer explosions caused by overloads. Eventually, it is possible many or most cars will be electric, but that will need to wait 35 to 70 years for grid and tech development.
Well, rant predicted. i agree with you 100%. My local area experiences many black outs due to the grid not being "up to par". So government pushes us to EV, we then have to supplement our homes with fossil fuel generators to make up for the short falls. If it wasn't so tragic, it would be comical.
-Hate is pretty strong work. I don't hate any of these cars within the brand BUT I dislike a few of them and it has nothing to do with being jealous. -It has to do with looks and function. These are both personal choices that many other just like me believe. You can't hate people who have personal choices for what they see and experience in life :-)
