It'll be interesting who sees this as it's a five-year old video. But here goes...I had a hand sewn Dress Gordon from Scotland. Great kilt...looked as good as what I paid for it and was very happy with it. My next two kilts were both from USA Kilts, the first of which was an 8 yarder so I really could compare apples to apples and quite honestly couldn't tell one bit of difference in the quality of the craftsmanship in either. Both were absolutely stunning kilts! So the best reason to get one from USA Kilts if you're in the US or probably even Canada eh, saving on the shipping and the exchange rate. You're getting the same quality...and you'll be able to save some decent coin....especially these days!
When I bought my last kilt in 2008, as I now live in London, I asked my clan what they recommended and they told me of a shop by the British Museum in Holborn. It is still there today in Great Russell Street but they do not make kilts but get them made in Scotland for you. Back then it cost £175 but allowing for inflation I don't know how much that is today. Of course today you can order online but then it was not so common.
I’ve never bought a Scottish kilt but I’ve shopped for them all over Scotland. But I do have two of yours. And I’d stack them up against anyone, esp. for value
Rocky, you are not understating the good workmanship of your products. I received compliments on your 5-yard kilt, tweed jacket and waistcoat in many times in Scotland and the US. I am very happy with your products and advice, and make sure that I wear the kilt properly and with pride. Keep up the great work.

I’m not meaning to be rude here, I’m just curious as to why you’d want it to be sent to the UK and not use the many other excellent Kiltmakers like USA Kilts in Scotland? Or ones in the UK?

OK, right off the bat before even watching the video I have an answer. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm gonna say it's the "Accent!"
If say the yellow and white stripes in the BRUCE tartan were just slightly wider by only one third would it still be the same tartan?
Kilt or quilt?
