They should have kept them both, only Ashe can sing Altered State as well as he do and only Dan can sing Concealing One as well as he do. Imagine if they sing together the awesome Tesseract-harmonies on an album!
Yeah but I think they both like being the lead too much for that to work. As evident by Ashe going for a solo project (as leading as it gets really), and Dan's WMBB, which is said to be two vocalists, but is almost exclusively him.
They both are different but so amazing! It would be cool if Tesseract switched between Ashe and Dan every album haha and hoping for maybe an Ashe/Dan duet on this next one too but I doubt it.

I love what Ashe brought to Tesseract amazing powerful and beautiful vocals. Altered State is an amazing album in how it balanced having a heavy album instrumentally with out the need for harsh vocals and it still be groundbreaking. I glad I got to see them on the altered state tour, he was a really nice a down to earth person. I'm sure what ever he does will be great. I personally really like this version.
Ashe's voice fits Tesseract so much better .... I'd like to have a copy of Polaris with Ashe singing but Polaris isn't as musically technically varied as Altered State

+Ponche Antares Lets make the game stronger and have them both on one album, either as a parallel performance of entire album by both Dan and Ashe, or an intertwining exchange of vocal parts. They both seem to go along with TesseracT's style, bringing their respective qualities into the general music experience. Would just love to.

Anyone else notice that there's a line missing from the top of the logo? The smaller cube, top right, missing the connection to the top middle of the large cube.
yeah i noticed but the logo is also missing 2 MORE lines but they are prettu subtle in the original logo, they connect both center point of the big cube to both center points of the smaller one

I love Ashe, but Dan's voice fits this so much more. Ashe might be a fantastic singer but Dan's voice conveys a sorrow that I've never heard before. Ashe doesn't have that. You can hear the pain in Dan's voice, but with Ashe, you can hear that he's just singing. He doesn't feel what he sings, and that's what makes Dan superior. Regardless, this is amazing and he's an incredible vocalist.
+Victor DeLeon This version was solid, but Elliots version is still the best. The Problem with dan is that it feels like he is just picking random notes when he writes vocal melodies, ashe was so much better. It really shows when you compare Polaris to Altered state.
+killerkoala60 Elliott was by far the worst vocalist Tesseract ever had and One is by far their best album which destroys Altered State. Dan is the best fit and best vocalist they've ever had and I'm glad he's back in the band.
Dan is a better live vocalist than Ashe. Ashe created much better vocal melodies, even if the music on altered state wasn't as good. Elliot is fucking awesome live, created super unique vocal melodies, and has the best harsh vocals.

And I love Altered State, Exile is my all-time favourite song. But I like Polaris as a whole more ("Cages"... omfg!).

tbh tesseract music is meant to be instrumental but realizing the vocalised versions I would say they both fit tesseract but different aspects
