    Thank you thank you thank you. I agree with what you said about TikTok. I also have sleep issues and found myself scrolling for 3 hours in the early morning. I cannot stand what this does to my brain. And you're right the products people push (lack of a better word) are not what they claim. I appreciate your content and authenticity and thank you for your motivation 😊

    In response to your “Why me? You’re just a small town girl” comment: that is exactly why I love your channel. You’re relatable. You’re genuine. You’re videos are basically like sitting with a friend having a normal conversation. The big channels where people don’t work and are always on fancy trips or designer shopping trips are fun to watch but they’re just fantasy. They’re not real or attainable for most people. I think you’re doing great! ❤

    I thought my screen was making the video a little grey and then I remembered you're in the midst of Canadian winter whilst I'm in the midst of a South American tropical city wax-melting summer hahaha Our circumstances are crazy different, but I relate to your content sooo much. Stay safe, girl, love you, and here's to a great year 😜

    I initially found you on a finance video, but I really like your vibe. Now I watch your videos and with this one I really could relate to so many of these habits. So I’m a firm believer that we follow people on TH-cam bc we like their personalities. You’ll find your tribe as you continue to be you.

    👋 I was apart of those new subscribers that found your channel through the famous budget video, but as I started to watch your channel more, earlier this year, I’ve grown to love all the different content you share. I didn’t watch too many vlogs before finding your channel, at least not in a while. Your content variety, posting consistency, vibe & transparency has been awesome for me as a subscriber. ❤️ Thanks for all the great videos!

    Move my body more
    Eat at home more
    I also borrowed some of the ones you said, like not hitting snooze. 🙃

    I'm pro-life but I think that everyone should be able to choose what they want to do with their body. Having a kid is a big responsibility and not everyone should have kids even more if they don't want to. I'm on my second child and very happy with my choice, and do think it's not that difficult to avoid having kids but not everyone is as informed as I am or in some cases are violated in some way/form becoming burdened by that kid that has no fault of being in the world.
    Stacking habits is easier to keep to your habits and form new ones, I tried that this 2022 and it works wonders

    On the imposter syndrome note: It's not that you have to be perfect for everyone online and everything (not even to your "ideal audience") - You just need to know a little bit more than the person who's getting value of your videos/content! And I'm pretty sure you do!
    Just have that in mind: it's just about being a step further, so that you can help someone else 💖

I had to learn this lesson too. It can be a tough sip to swallow but it’s a good lesson. Accepting it helps us grow. Anyway. Keep doing your thang. Your transparency and honesty and unfiltered life have inspired more people than you may ever know the impact of. Love these chatty vids. All the best in 2023 girl. ♥️

    No one is perfect. I think looking at what are your bad habits and replace them with good ones. I heard it takes 90 days to switch habits. We can all improve ourselves and not judge other people to tell them to improve themselves. People judge too much and need to accept people for their flaws and need to look at themselves and they have flaws as well. I think the one thing I need to improve on is not to stress out over the little things, take a deep breath, and tell myself everything will be okay.

    I completely understand the imposter syndrome. I'm about to complete my master's degree in Spring 2023 and I've been looking at jobs that I 100% am experienced for and I keep thinking that I'm not and that I never will be. And then I get into this cycle of that even with my master's degree I'm not enough for myself so then I've been looking at Ph.D. programs and I always have to just stop myself and go for a walk to clear my head with all of the noise. I love your videos and how honest and yourself you are in them and I'm really glad I found your channel in 2022. I'm excited to see what 2023 holds for you, Matt, and Stella!

    No spend months also don't make sense to me. I think it would a temptation to buy a whole lot of things once you know you can buy next month. I think if we don't want to spent money then our focus should be how can way save more money, any side jobs we can do, etc

    Hi Carter. Thanks for the video. As far as the Roe Vs Wade topic. I would be willing to hear out your view point. But I do have one serious question, do you think that there is a desire/goal that a women can have that should be more important than a life? Willing to hear you out but I cannot think of any kind of discomfort or change in my life that would out weigh the respect for life. No step back in my career, finances, or time should be more important than an innocent life?
    I think there is a scary step to people using this same logic with born babies, or toddlers, or just any children. If my five year old makes it difficult to get all my work done not even mention make it impossible to climb the corporate ladder. In this case should I just give up my child?
    Lastly I will just say one last point. This world makes children seem like the worst possible thing that could happen. But kids are truly the greatest blessing. Getting a high paying job, more money, a bigger home, shopping etc will not make you happy but joy can come from a love. Love from a family and children is one of the sweetest.
    Look forward to hearing from you.

    • @CarterSullivan
      @CarterSullivan  ปีที่แล้ว +12

      And I love that you are willing to hear out the other side, I respect you for that! Honestly I just think any woman should be allowed the decision to have a child or not. Matt and I want children one day but not right now, I'm not ready to have a child and have other aspirations currently. I think it's okay to not want a child right now and we take all the precautions to not get pregnant (aka birth control) but it's not 100%. I totally agree that kids are the biggest blessing but what about the 16 year old who is sexually active? or the 19 year old who is SA'ed? I just believe everyone should be allowed the decision whether or not they want an abortion! No one who is pro choice thinks that love and kids aren't a big blessing I just think you should be able to choose.

    • @natashachurch7506
      @natashachurch7506 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@CarterSullivan
      Hey Carter. I totally understand that as of right now you might now want kids and I think that it is okay to say that and want that. But I think there is a difference between your 'desire' and a life. Life should triumph over ambition. The choice a women makes effects her life as well as can end another. It's not just 'her' choice as you put it. There is an entire being that will live or die based on that choice!
      As fast as the 16year old or SA. That all breaks my heart. Of course I think SA is wrong. Nor do I believe a 16 year old is likely to be ready to be a mom. But why I the world would one wrong be made better by another? For example, if a 16 year old does get pregnant how does killing her baby make everything better? Two wrongs don't make a right.
      I respect you wanting to wait to have a baby but I do think that if a women does become pregnant selfishly only thinking about what the mom wants and not the baby is no longer a valid option. Now there is another life that needs protecting.
      I say this next part with no judgement but I am curious how you will feel if one day you hold your daughter or son and see just how dependent they are on you. That everything you did while they were in your belly affected them that you are now and have been in charge of keeping them safe.

    • @outliv
      @outliv ปีที่แล้ว +13

      @@natashachurch7506 pregnancy is wonderful for those who want it. But for kids who grew up in the system & get unexpectedly pregnant, they realize giving up their child does not always equal a better life for them. Many women do not have a stable income or life to bring a child into at the moment. I think where a lot of pro-choice and pro-life arguments differ is that the fetus does not get a right to choose IMO. It does not think & cannot exist outside the mother’s body. You are not allowed to use another person’s body without their consent, so a fetus cannot either. The child cannot tell you whether or not it wants to be born, so we let the mother decide.
      Adoption is wonderful & many are living great lives because of it. But many suffer under the foster care system & families who do not want/cannot care for them. Good and bad with both choices.

    • @natashachurch7506
      @natashachurch7506 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@outliv so let's change the foster system and not end a life!!! Again why are we only reaching for bad solutions!!! Why not teach about respecting sex. Protecting women in the process!
      And I'm not sure if you have ever been pregnant but babies definitely use a women's body. Though I wouldn't put it that way. They use nutrients, energy, water etc. And how do you know they cannot think. You can watch babies in utero respond to stimulus like light, hold hands of another twin inside the womb with them, and have a heart beat.
      Again I am not saying that everyone needs to have children now or ever but when a child is made it needs to be protected.
