I haven’t heard anybody mentioning Poughkeepsie for a long, long time. The very first time I heard of this town was when my mom and dad took us to visit the Adirondacks and the Amtrak from NYC to Albany stopped there. I remember there was a very big river on my left as the train was traveling up north from NYC. Extremely scenic until we got around the Poughkeepsie area and all we saw were factories
Thanks for sharing this. I would love to go to The Archive some day. It looks like an amazing place. It is nice to see you wife helping you with your shopping bags.
That was strange seeing a HMV Premium exclusive to their UK stores (New Jack City) on the shelves of the first store. 🤔 The Archive store looked awesome too. 👍😃👍
Great trip! I hope to visit an Archive in the future myself. Colorado looks to be the closest for me. Good to know I’ll need to bring the whole pay check! 😂
after Raisin in the Sun, Guess Who is my second favorite Poitier movie. great cast and dialogue. excellent video on the shop visits tim. very fun to watch and i like the talking over the video in post rather than trying to talk through it live as well. when people do voice over later on i enjoy it much more. thanks for filming in 4K it looked fantastic. oh man if i had an unlimited budget i would go crazy in the Archive.
Dude…thanks for sharing!! I loved the pipe record holders. As a DIYer that made me smile. The archive seems like an amazing store. Need to check that out! That Dark Side Records seemed like an awesome place as well. Dang Tim, I now have to find an archive near me!
Finally getting a chance to watch this. What a trip!!! I definitely want to go to The Archive now. Oh, that Cary Grant DVD box set you picked up? I still got that one! Great set!
Nice music in the back. Also what a crazy haul! I would love to go to The Archive with the budget and intention to spend a grand or two. But that means I need to step up my movie game and watch a bunch. Because I am not going to blind buy $1000 worth of stuff.
I love Darkside Records! I have picked up so many steelbooks from them. I need to check out that $2 room next time I go. I need to check out The Archive soon, it's so much closer to me.
@@timtalkstalkies I wanted to go back as I was watching the video, but it's like 70 min from me. I did go to The Archive. WOW! That place is amazing! I picked up a lot of stuff I wasn’t looking for and 1 thing I was looking for. I need to go back when I have more money.
Oh for sure getting all three movies themselves is cheaper during the sale. It’s just cool to see that set In person because that’s way OOP and comes with a small book inside not in the regular releases.
Slipping on your own drool while filming the posters. 😂
This haul included everything you love besides statues!
😂 slipping on my drool 😂
I came away with lots of “me” stuff for sure.
Fantastic video! Loved seeing the shops with everything they had. Great music choices for the video too!

Thanks Tony. I was actually kinda excited to get some of my wife in the video. She never wants to be in one, but I got a couple shots of her haha.
Thanks for taking us along !
I need to make a trip to these stores
👍😁👍
You would have such a blast at them. The selection is insane.
At 13:23 I noticed a bootleg Netflix release of “Horse Girl”. I would visit The Archive if it wasn’t a 14 hour drive.

Yeah I found that a little strange also.
MAN! I need that store near me! Now that's heaven.
Andre?! Heck yeah!! Awesome places and awesome video Triple T! Also that Dangerous Minds soundtrack! That Suburban Camando Original is a must!
I knew I had to grab Andre immediately.
Great trip! I hope to visit an Archive in the future myself. Colorado looks to be the closest for me. Good to know I’ll need to bring the whole pay check! 😂
Hopefully you’re able to make the trip some day.
Geez those are 2 great places. Great haul man!!
Awesome video! I love the archive
Awesome video Tim. I’d love to check out both of these places one day.
You’d love it there. It would be like heaven haha.

Diggin' that Weird Science original poster 👍
My jaw dropped when I saw it. I love original posters and love that movie so it was exciting to see.

‘Guess who’s coming to dinner’ is suuuuper underrated. Heavily inspired ‘Get Out’ too
That’s great to hear! Cast wise can’t go wrong.

You would LOVE it there KB.
Awesome haul i missed you by a few minutes and man that store is overwhelming gonna be going back soon
That’s crazy we were almost there at the same time.
@@timtalkstalkies indeed and we both bypass that store to go to other shops before going to that one

Yeah you can’t go there with minimal money. It would make you more bummed haha. So much selection.
Sick pickups, I actually just picked a copy of "Undead" from Umbrella last week
Thank you…Undead is such a cool title to get a release. I just rebought the DVD only like a year ago too.
I love Darkside Records! I have picked up so many steelbooks from them. I need to check out that $2 room next time I go. I need to check out The Archive soon, it's so much closer to me.
That $2 room was way better than I was anticipating. Definitely want to go back there.

I could have dropped 10k between those two stores. I’m glad I live nowhere close to them. 😅
Oh my gosh yeah I could’ve spent WAY more. I had such a hard time deciding what exactly I wanted to buy.
Man a whole section for John carpenter? I need that escape from New York score! Lol
Escape From New York is such a great score.
anyone know what movie the red poster to the left of blue velvet poster is ?
Tim, how much was that del Toro box set going for?
I believe it was $80.
@@timtalkstalkies wow! I would advise people to what until the Criterion flash sale or Barnes & Noble 50% off sale and pay $60 for them individually.
Oh for sure getting all three movies themselves is cheaper during the sale. It’s just cool to see that set In person because that’s way OOP and comes with a small book inside not in the regular releases.
@@timtalkstalkies yes, that’s true. It is rare, I’ve only seen it in a couple of TH-cam videos when people have shown their awesome collections.
What’s the name of the store and where is this located?
The Archive in Bridgeport, CT
