However, Max upgraded his arms with a few of Ambush's components (after he was destroyed by Black Thunder), and Charlie used his built-in shadow function to teach him combos and increase his fluidity in a fight. The end result of this is a damn-near indestructible bot that can zip around most other opponents, shrug off whatever they throw at him, and utterly pummel them if they whiff even once. In TvTropes terms, a definitive Lightning Bruiser.
