- In this episode of Status Check with Spivey, Mike discusses the reasons that this law school admissions cycle will be the slowest one ever (or at least within our admissions careers)-and, perhaps more importantly, what you should do about it if you're a current applicant.

Thanks for the insight. I'm one of those slow appliers. You mentioned the applications intra-school being so different and that has absolutely slowed me down. I'm applying to a decent number of schools and was not prepared for how many a) revisions to my "universal" short essay answer and b) unique additional short essays for each school I'd have to do. I've even had to tweak my personal statement for a few schools. I don't know what applications were like in past but I definitely expected more similarity between schools. I'm glad the cycle overall is slower and that I'm still doing ok on my timeline. I've been stressed about not getting my apps in weeks ago like I'd originally planned.
Applied a month ago, only heard back from one school so far. This suspense is killing me 😩
Spivey, I'm going to need you to lie to me and tell me next cycle won't be slow at all. Give me something to cling to.
This cycle won't be slow at all.

Would appreciate any feedback or opinions on the changes the LSAT will undergo next year.
