In this video we are showing you how to remove and replace the center console on a Ford Escape First Generation. If you need to work on the shifter the GEM or the Airbag module this will be helpful video for you. It is not very complicated procedure and it should not take you more than 10-15 minutes to do it yourself once you see what needs to be done.
This should work on Ford Escape First Generation, Ford Maverick ( which is the European Ford Escape), and Mercury Mariner.

I was going to subscribe anyway due to his Russian/Ukrainian accent, being Russian myself; but this procedure works equally well with the 2011 Escape - only difference is screws are 9/32" head. Great video, perfect explanation!

Hey man, thanks for the video, very good explanation. I have to connect my new radio to the positive wire of the parking brake wire conector, do I have to remove the whole console to do that or I can access the wire just removing the top cover. Thank you.

Remove the shift gear

2003 escape isn’t like that. The shifter is on the wheel.
