i only have the strava photo at the very end of the video im afraid. if i start making more videos of my loops around langholm area i,ll try and upload a gpx file. but to be totally honest ive no idea how to do it at the minute😂
@@UnderDog333 No worries. I managed to piece together 90% of the route from the map at the end. The only bit I couldn't work out was the last bit back to Langholm. There are plenty of tracks in that area I'm sure I'll be able to work something out. Cheers!
@@Bobario1 The actual loop can be done in 35 miles but i wanted to see how long my battery would last in eco mode so i just rode around langholm for another 7 miles roughly until the battery fully drained. so that part can be ignored. hope the info helps
Looks a lovely route , more suitable for e-bike or doable on a non e-bike ? Do you have a link to the route , I tried following but got a bit lost 😂 new sub here 👍 you sound local to me Carlisle ?
yeah i live about 10mins from carlisle and too be honest dave ive got bad knees so any of my routes i post are of me on my electric mountain bikes or my e scooter, im sure if your fit enough any of the routes could be done on a manual hard tail or gravel style bike (possibly having to push for 5mins on some of the really steep climbs) if your close to langholm area i definatley recommend exploring it as i think its abit of a hidden gem for cyclists of all styles. i know my videos arn,t the best, there more for me just logging my memories, recording the scenery and adding some of my favourite music so my grandkids might have something to remember me by when im long gone😂. but if 1 of my videos helps someone out when their looking for some new routes then thats a bonus for me. im afraid i dont have any detailed routes and im useless at giving directions etc. but if you want to add me on strava or garmin connect im happy to send you my details for any future routes i do. thanks for the sub aswell ive just subscribed to your channel also. i might get a few editing tips off ya😀
@@UnderDog333 cheers mate , I’ve done a bit of hiking around Langholm area and runs/races but you deffo get more miles on a bike. I’m possibly getting a haibike later this year so that would be more suited . My Strava link is on my latest video atb Dave 🚲👍
Nice ride that I gotta do it sometime
if your close to langholm area definatley well worth the ride. i think langholm is a hidden gem of an area for mountain biking and cycling in general
This looks like a really nice route thanks for the video. Do you have a GPX? Or at last a route map?
