Absolutely gorgeous! I can't wait to see your tree completed. Also your open shelving!😁🤗 Thanks for your tip on fluffing the top of tree while on the floor! ( I never thought of that)❤🎉❤🎉❤ 🙋♀️🙆♀️
Hey Steph, personally I like to decorate more neutral for early Christmas and after Thanksgiving bring in more pops of red. Otherwise than that, everyone is entitled to their opinion and can decorate their own as they please regardless of what other people like so let’s keep it kind and not talk down about what myself or others do. I just happen to share it online
I’ve almost had the same thing happen to many of my vases but I’ve never thought about taping them!! Thank you!! I’m so envious of those cedar stems wowwww I love the look!! Happy decorating!! ❤️
Looks beautiful so far. Just put all of my Halloween away. Got my turkeys out. Christmas decor goes up Thanksgiving weekend. So glad for all of your lovely ideas.
Sarah … I love your excitement and energy as you start your 2024 Christmas decorating! 🤗 You are just glowing! 🥰 Your entry way is just glorious! 🤩 And your tree … WOW! 🤩🌲🤩 I have one tree up so far and Christmas all over downstairs trying to slowly get my family room decorated. 😳 I still have to put fall and Halloween away upstairs … but all I want to do now is decorate for Christmas! 😂😂 Totally enjoy every moment of your Christmas decorating journey! 🤎🎄🤎 I hope you and yours have a wonderful rest of your week! ♥️
Those big stems are gorgeous & they look so real , the tape hack is genius i will definitely use it because i have the same vase & taking bent stems out of it is a struggle. 😊
Okay so even if you didn’t add a single additional Christmas bauble, everything already looks beautiful!! The stems in your vase are exquisite. The reflection of lit tree in your entryway mirror is so beautiful. Can’t wait to see more Sara ❤ 🌲
Your foyer table is lovely. I think I’d want to open one…maybe two (kind of staggered) drawers and hand something out of them….ribbon with bells….stockings….IDK. What you did really is perfection, though! Stately. My fav way to show case things!!
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! for the taping tip..you inspired me to buy that vase over a year ago..I would cry if I couldn't replace my vase..also I usually follow your latest floral designs .. YOU ARE THE BEST on you tube as far as I'm concerned..early MERRY CHRISTMAS..I appreciate that you decorate early so we can search for the items..love the tin cottage...your.Gibson Mill friend
Thank you so much I really appreciate it! If I can help one person not have this happen to them then mission accomplished 🤣👏🏻 thankfully it’s still usable but I was so frustrated because it was avoidable 😅
Hi Sarah! This looks so beautiful! Their trees are the best!! I had a green tree for many years and gave that one away and got a slimmer flocked tree from King of Christmas. I absolutely love it. We have a lot of green big natural trees in our home. A little too many, but it's a hubby thing so I let him have it. But another green tree and it would look like a forest. I'm in Wisconsin so we see a lot of white snowy trees here so it's like bringing the outside in. But I would love to get a Nobel Fir from King of Christmas one day but that would be only if the hubby gets rid of some of the trees. He actually added one so we will have our traditional squabble that he needs to move them out of the way!
Oh that's too funny! My limit is however many I can fit in my Harry potter closet under the stairs 😂 I have 3 full sized trees and a few smaller ones as well, just love adding them everywhere!
Love the entry decor. The tree is gorgeous as it is, but will look even more gorgeous when you are done decorating. You home always looks so lovely. Im putting my Christmas early this year too. I always wait for Thanksgiving but not this year. Ill wait for your next video with anticipation. Take care. ❤❤❤
I LOVE IT SARAH! You ALWAYS do such a great job! I scored the Home Depot tree this year! I bought the king of Christmas tree u had last year and I didn’t care for it either so I gave to my daughter, expensive, just not full! So looking forward to it all! I am not decorating until closer thanksgiving as I leave everything up longer n just take certain things down that depict Christmas! It’s work so want to enjoy the seasons n months of each thing, I love you do it all as well and your style! Thank u for sharing, GREAT VIDEO!😊❤️🎁💕⭐️🌲
Thank you so much! I feel the same way, that's why I like to decorate early so I can relax and enjoy it closer to the actual holiday itself 😊 Thank you for watching! 🎄
The color of the McGee& Co. bells is so incredibly pretty 🤎🤎🤎 I have to say, I’m a green 💚 tree fan, although a beautiful tree of any kind says Christmas 🎄🥰
Sarah, I am so sorry about that vase, I know you love it. However, I’m am sure everyone of us have struggled with the exact same problem, I know that I have. You have saved us all with the idea of taping them together. I didn’t think I would, but I love the hanging wicker bells! We have been saturated with the brass bells and it is beautiful to see a change! Thank you also for the wisdom of “fluffing” the top of the tree before placing it. This should save me from falling off of the stool a dozen times :)
If I can help one person avoid it then mission accomplished! 👏 I love the classic look of the brass bells but am enjoying the change just as much! No falling off stools!
Awe Sarah, so sorry you accidentally broke your vase that you loved so much! Maybe Santa will bring you one! 😂 Love how decorate your home! I always look at your videos when I start decorating after Thanksgiving so I can get ideas on how to decorate, but honestly I try to do the same thing you do! 😂
Sarah....go buy some air dry clay, then shape it into the voided spaces recreating the design. I have fixed MANY things this way! After it is repaired, if it's not perfect, it can be sanded to match, then faux paint it to match! I promise this will work and your beautiful vase will be as good as new!! Good luck! I love your decorating ideas btw!! My style exactly!!
Sarah, so sorry about your beloved vase. But, you’re a DIY expert, I bet you could spackle around the still damaged part of the vase to shape those ridges in back and then paint it to match. What have you got to lose….❤
Very pretty, Sara. I’m totally a green tree girl as I have an old world, European cottage Christmas style. There were no flocked trees in photos I see from the Victorian era so in trying to duplicate nature/history, I stick to green.
Watched another TH-camr and she used an outdoor umbrella stand for her 9’ tree so her collar would fit! Just have to make sure the opening for umbrella pole is similar in size to tree trunk pole!😉
I’ve seen that too! I will say anything taller than 7.5’ should really have the regular base so the weight is distributed safely. If it’s a good large and heavy stand with no sway I can totally understand that but I’ve seen some trees that look like they rock and it makes me nervous 😅😅😅
I’m so sorry about your vase, that’s heartbreaking! Your entryway is lovely! If it’s any consolation you can’t see the damage on the vase. Thanks for the inspiration!
I'm hosting Thanksgiving, so my Autumn styling is staying as is. Between Walmart and Homegoods, I scored some great new additions for Christmas/Winter. I found the stag candelabra (giddy squeal)! I currently have a room-by-room plan laid out so I will be good to go on November 30. I'm contemplating putting up the tree but I know that will snowball into decorating every space before Turkey Day. I like a mix of flocked and greens. I have never done all flocked everything because it's messy and feels too "cold" to me and my preference for natural/rustic. I do love flocked for the porch.
I'm going less glitzy more natural this year, so you're my new role model. Both flocked and green live in my home, but I am mixing up a batch of baking soda fake snow so who knows?!
Hi Sarah. That is too bad about your vase but it still looks so pretty!! You entryway is stunning as always and yes, those stems are gorgeous!! Your tree looks fabulous. I find myself trying to look closer to my screen to see if I can see more of your new built ins 😅 , so silly. I am excited for all the videos to come!! 😊
It some how only feels like last xmas was just here, is it just me or do you also feel like where has this year gone, anyhow i love the new position of this year's tree do hope we get to see your new built ins, entry table is looking fab xx
Sarah, NO ONE does it better than you…. Love everything I am a neutral gal, so looking at your decor is so up my alley Just stunning Sarah, I love how you list everything for us too❤ I love green, I’m always afraid the flock will make a mess, does it?
Your home look like it’s ready for Santa! I am in both camps, Flock and Green. Isn’t that why there is more than one room in houses?😉🎄Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas!
If u get 2 messages from me, sorry I lost one. First off GM Sara, great video! Those stems are awesome btw! I went to Drews store but there wasn’t much Christmas yet, I meant to go back and forgot. I knew he’d have something quirky I’d love. I’m sure he won’t restock that house, maybe Amazon will. I have 2 silver metal houses I want to paint or do something with every year, maybe I should oxidize them… lol. Bring on ALL the Christmas Sarah. Oh and so sorry about your Christmas tragedy but thank God it was a thick vase so it could be saved. I got a new vase from Mcgee&Co that I’m very upset with due to the weight of it. With the sale and free shipping, I don’t think it’s worth sending it back on the chance it broke and shipping charges! It’s pretty but very disappointing.
Looks great but I bet som dark red berries would look good with your green garland around your mirror to pick up on those beautiful ribbons on your bells and I think you have red on your book boxes
I am a cedar gal as well, I absolutely love the willowy and romantic aesthetic of cedar and cypress branches! The stems you used in the vase from Blowing Rock are phenomenal! They look realistic. I wish we could find the source. This is always the problem right?
Thank you! I agree! It’s a bummer to find something gorgeous, but not be able to track it down! I always feel so bad sharing something that no one can get 😅
Nooo not your favorite vase! I can't believe that happened, seems like such a freak accident to bust through a vase. Maybe it had a weak spot. Looking forward to more, so exciting!
Hi !!! I thing you did a beautiful job on your entryway table. But there is something off with the Xmas twigs in the pot. It’s the color for one and maybe you need a little color in the pot. It’s just off. But they are so nice. The tree looks great. Can’t wait to see you decorate. I’m in no way trying to be insulting. It just the stems look off. Ok keep it up !!!! Deb Az
Thank you so much! I bought them from Brass Exchange in Blowing Rock but the wholesaler is Regency International! I’m not sure what other retailers carry this exact stem unfortunately
Green trees 🌲 are my favs! Everything looks great Sarah! ❤
Thank you so much! I love green trees too, such a classic look!
Great idea with the tape!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Absolutely gorgeous!
I can't wait to see your tree completed. Also your open shelving!😁🤗
Thanks for your tip on fluffing the top of tree while on the floor! ( I never thought of that)❤🎉❤🎉❤ 🙋♀️🙆♀️
Thank you so much! It’s all coming soon!
You really know how to peice the idems together and I love the way you you do greenery

Thank you so much! Me too! 🎄
So pretty! Love your style... excited for all of your Christmas decorating this year 😄
@stephguz That is how design trends work. Surprise! She does it beautifully.
Thank you Tammy! I appreciate your kindness!

Wow that tree is gorgeous! I actually love both, a green tree and also flocked. I love your decorating style Sarah. Always so so pretty.
I'm so glad you liked it! I always get so excited to decorate this time of year! 👏🏻🎄
So beautiful Sarah!!! Those stems are show stoppers! I always enjoy your Christmas deforating videos ❤️
Thank you so much! I love how big they are! 😍🎄
Lovely start for Christmas decorations
Thank you so much!
I’ve almost had the same thing happen to many of my vases but I’ve never thought about taping them!! Thank you!! I’m so envious of those cedar stems wowwww I love the look!! Happy decorating!! ❤️
I hope that taping trick helps you out! 😄 nothing would be worse than a true antique pot being broken because of a stem 😅
Looks beautiful so far. Just put all of my Halloween away. Got my turkeys out. Christmas decor goes up Thanksgiving weekend. So glad for all of your lovely ideas.
I always love Thanksgiving weekend, too! It's the perfect time to start getting into the holiday spirit!
Totally enjoy every moment of your Christmas decorating journey! 🤎🎄🤎 I hope you and yours have a wonderful rest of your week! ♥️
I am so glad you're enjoying it! 🤎🎄 Happy decorating yourself!
I like green trees best, flocked trees are pretty if they aren't overly flocked. I just love your entry way, love, love, love the greenery!
It’s hard to beat the real look of green! I love the classic Christmas feel but flocked is also so pretty!
Lovely.. can't wait to see the rest!
Thank you so much!
I just saw an Instagram post!!!! Congratulations!!!! Exciting days ahead! Cindi (from WV). ❤
Thank you so much Cindi, much appreciated!
Your tree is beautiful Sarah. Can't wait to see what you have planned for decor.
Thank you so much!
Those big stems are gorgeous & they look so real , the tape hack is genius i will definitely use it because i have the same vase & taking bent stems out of it is a struggle. 😊
I'm so glad that tip was helpful, it's a game-changer for vases staying safe! 🤣👏🏻🎄
I love my King of Christmas tree. Loved this video
Thank you, I love mine too! 👏🏻🎄
Gorgeous!!! I love both flocked trees and green trees. This year I'm going for the green with a whole new look. Wish me luck😂❤
I hope it turns out exactly how you envisioned!
Love the simplicity of the entry easy table. Not too busy, just enough.
Thank you so much! I love how it turned out 😊🎄
Hi from Australia Sarah, I absolutely love your entrance wall table and mirror. ❤ I am looking forward to seeing your completed tree. 😊
Thank you so much! I'm excited to see how it all comes together!
Sara, its gonna be beautiful. Entry table is stunning. ❤😊
Thank you so much, I love how it's coming together!
In love with your good taste for design!! Your rock girl 🎉
Thank you so much!
Real tree!
Nothing beats the smell of a real tree 😍🎄
Okay so even if you didn’t add a single additional Christmas bauble, everything already looks beautiful!! The stems in your vase are exquisite. The reflection of lit tree in your entryway mirror is so beautiful. Can’t wait to see more Sara ❤ 🌲

Hi Sarah. Love watching you. You have so many ideas. Love it all. ❤❤❤❤❤
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
Lovely🥰
Thank you!
I decorate with both green and flocked trees. Love your videos ❤
I love both too! My flocked one makes an absolute mess though 😅 but both are so pretty! 🎄
A beautiful start to Christmas decorating. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you so much! 🎄
Your foyer table is lovely. I think I’d want to open one…maybe two (kind of staggered) drawers and hand something out of them….ribbon with bells….stockings….IDK. What you did really is perfection, though! Stately. My fav way to show case things!!
Thank you! That sounds like a cute idea!
Stunning Sarah. Flocked all the way here. White lights with white and silver ornaments/garnishments. Monochrome.
Thank you! Oh I bet that looks so gorgeous!
LOVED it!
Thank you!
Absolutely beautiful thanks for sharing your beautiful video.
Thank you so much!
Great!!!❤😊😊
Thank you!
So beautiful! Looking forward to all of your Christmas styling! 🎄
Thank you so much! 🎄
Beautiful ❤❤❤
Thank you!
Beautiful Sarah! Can't wait to see what's next. The tree is stunning. I have a flocked tree. It is messy, but I love it's look. See you next week!
I love flocked trees, they add such a nice touch! Definitely very very messy 😅

Thank you for the fluffing tips, I always struggle with that, it was very helpful. I bought my first flocked tree last year & absolutely love it.
❤
So happy you found the tips helpful! I love my flocked tree too, so pretty just wish it was less messy 🤣
The color of the McGee& Co. bells is so incredibly pretty 🤎🤎🤎 I have to say, I’m a green 💚 tree fan, although a beautiful tree of any kind says Christmas 🎄🥰
I totally agree! 👏🏻🎄
Yes! That happened to me too where my folded stems got caught on the rim of vase 🤦🏽♀️
That’s a great tip!
Such a bummer! Hopefully this tip helps you for the future!
Hi Sarah, I love all Christmas trees❣️ Your tree is gorgeous so full 🌲🌲🌲
Thank you so much! I love a full tree too! 🎄
❤beautiful ❤
Thank you!
Sarah, I am so sorry about that vase, I know you love it. However, I’m am sure everyone of us have struggled with the exact same problem, I know that I have. Yes. Spackle it and paint it!
Totally could! 👏🏻
Absolutely gorgeous ❤❤
Thank you so much!
Your tree is beautiful ❣️
Thank you!
I like both trees 🌲 green and flocked
Thank you! Me too! 🎄
Awe Sarah, so sorry you accidentally broke your vase that you loved so much! Maybe Santa will bring you one! 😂
Love how decorate your home! I always look at your videos when I start decorating after Thanksgiving so I can get ideas on how to decorate, but honestly I try to do the same thing you do! 😂
Thank you so much! I was so bummed but at least it’s still usable! 👏🏻
Thank you Sarah beautiful as always ❤
I'm so glad you liked it! 🎄 thank you!
Gorgeous ❤
Thank you so much!
Bummer about the vase ,me too I love that vase ,you can’t see the damage ,good tip to tape stems . Great tree 🌲 and entry way looks perfect !
I'm just so glad it's still usable! Thank you!
Great idea, thank you!
Sarah, so sorry about your beloved vase. But, you’re a DIY expert, I bet you could spackle around the still damaged part of the vase to shape those ridges in back and then paint it to match. What have you got to lose….❤
Great idea! And very true, I can’t make it any worse at this point 🤣👏🏻
@ Congratulations to you and your family this holiday season! What a fantastic Christmas present!!! ♥️
I like flocked trees because I live in Alabama and I miss snow having grown up in Colorado.
Totally understandable! Love the look of a flocked one too 😍🎄
❤❤❤❤❤
Very pretty, Sara. I’m totally a green tree girl as I have an old world, European cottage Christmas style. There were no flocked trees in photos I see from the Victorian era so in trying to duplicate nature/history, I stick to green.
Very pretty! Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much! Yes, I'm so glad it's still usable! 👏
Oh how fun! Love the stag candle holders, there are so many good ones out there! Oh it always snowballs even with the best of intentions 😂
Hi Sara! Love all that you create and your Christmas decor is off to a wonderful start! Would you care to share your living room paint color?
Thank you so much! We used SW Snowbound and had it mixed at Lowes!
Beautiful!!!! How do you like your tree collar? I am thinking about ordering this one!
Thank you so much! I love the coloring of it! Not red, not orange, perfect darker warm brown tone
I'm going less glitzy more natural this year, so you're my new role model. Both flocked and green live in my home, but I am mixing up a batch of baking soda fake snow so who knows?!
Sounds wonderful! I love adding some neutral and organic elements in my Christmas decor 😊
That is so sad about your vase - great tip of taping the long stems together. You always do a nice video and such helpful hints.
Thank you! I'm glad you find them helpful!
I appreciate that! I’m so glad you like the entryway and tree! 😊 I'll be sure to share the builtins as soon as they are wrapped up! 👏
Everything looks great. Tree is beautiful. Loving your wood floors. What type of floors are those? Are you able to share a link to them?
Thank you! Our floors are from Cali Flooring, the legends line in the color Catamaran!
Beautiful decorating but don't forget to display something to represent the "Reason for the Season"! I especially like your entry.
Thank you so much!
Oh no to what happened to your beautiful vase! Great decorating, as always! ❣️
I was so bummed, obviously! But sharing so I can help at least one person avoid this! 😅
It some how only feels like last xmas was just here, is it just me or do you also feel like where has this year gone, anyhow i love the new position of this year's tree do hope we get to see your new built ins, entry table is looking fab xx
It really does feel that way! This year as flown by, I'll be sure to share the builtins when they're wrapped up! Taking our time with it!
Sarah, NO ONE does it better than you…. Love everything
I am a neutral gal, so looking at your decor is so up my alley
Just stunning Sarah, I love how you list everything for us too❤
I love green, I’m always afraid the flock will make a mess, does it?
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! Flocked definitely does make a mess but I feel like it's such a whimsical look it's worth it too 😊
TE HA QUEDADO MUY BONITA!
Gracias!
Your home look like it’s ready for Santa! I am in both camps, Flock and Green. Isn’t that why there is more than one room in houses?😉🎄Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas!
Thank you! And absolutely ! I would put a tree in every room if I had the storage space in the off season 😂
@@laughlovelangella That is my limiting factor as well. Shoe-horning seasonal decorations into every space possible. My poor hubby… 😉
Oh no, I'm sorry your vase is a disappointment! It's tough when you get excited about a piece, but it just doesn't work out!
Looks great but I bet som dark red berries would look good with your green garland around your mirror to pick up on those beautiful ribbons on your bells and I think you have red on your book boxes
I totally agree! I decorate more neutral initially and then after Thanksgiving add in the pops of red 😊
Genius taping the stems so they don’t get stuck on the way out.
Must save the vessels this holiday season 🤣👏🏻🎄
😩 I live in uk, can’t get the lovely stuff you have in America xx
So sorry! Hopefully one day they make this stuff internationally available!
I always feel so bad sharing something that no one can get 😅
Your beautiful vase - patch the hole w/dry wall spackle, then paint over to match the rest of the vase!
Good idea! 👏🏻
Nooo not your favorite vase! I can't believe that happened, seems like such a freak accident to bust through a vase. Maybe it had a weak spot. Looking forward to more, so exciting!
I know I was so bummed about it, felt the need to share so hopefully I can help even one person avoid this happening to them! 😅
Had you considered trying air dry clay to fill in where you need it on your prized vase? As usual everything is perfect in your home! ❤
Others have mentioned maybe using spackle but the air clay is also a great idea!
Get some premix spackling to repair the vase. After it dries, sand it a little then paint with a color that's as close as u can.
Good idea! 👏🏻
Deb Az
Not insulting at all! The coloring in person definitely reads better than it films 👏🏻
Hi Sarah, can you share with me the retailer who carries the beautiful cedar stems? Love! Your style and enthusiasm 💚
"Brass exchange" Trust me I tried but they don't do delivery/shipping 😭😭😭
I wonder if that is the retailer who sells them or distributor. If they could list retailers who carry their product 🤔😫
Thank you so much! I bought them from Brass Exchange in Blowing Rock but the wholesaler is Regency International! I’m not sure what other retailers carry this exact stem unfortunately
Hello Sarah, you could now fill in the gaps with clay paste and have a general paint after 🤔
I like the idea of clay paste, that’s a good idea!
Everything is beautiful. Can you share with me your floor details? They are so lovely. Thanks
Thank you so much! They are Cali Flooring Legends line in Catamaran
Oh yes I love flocked trees but there so messy so I mostly use green!
They can get pretty messy, but I love how they look! Definitely enjoy a traditional green tree for gifts 😍🎄
Looks great sorry about your vase I know that’s your favorite one.
Thanks so much, I really do love it! Thankful I can still use it at least!
