Very creepy 😂
I am now a Dad. He's a legend!
Congratulations to you both.
End of an era 😂😂
@@peterf7248 ha! Im knackered!
Congrats!! 🎉 Mario or Luigi?
Nice one, now wait till they hit the teens lol.
Your interactions with that old lady are an absolute inspiration. What's that saying? "I'm in the trades to help people with practical problems, not to get rich. If I wanted to be rich, I'd be a politician."
Haha thanks man....although I'd love to get into politics!
@@plumberparts first target: remove the tundish bend requirement? Or is there a more nefarious target
We need more Professor Plumb.
Made me shudder! Very realistic creepy teacher 😂
You are a lovely man if a little bonkers, congratulations on becoming a dad.
Thankyou!
Welcome in City Plumbing Saffron Walden anytime, ps congrats on new arrival 👍
How nice it is to see that not all tradesmen are not con men...well done you.
PS congrats by the way 👌👍👌👍❤
Thank you!
Been watching a while, but just recently this is my new most favourite channel. 😊
Wow, thank you!
Good on you mate! Love that you fixed that valve rather than replacing. And that you offered to work for free too :)
Thanks 👍
Not even born yet and he's already late for appointments? Wee mans gonna be a great plumber.
4am is the time , as if you were frozen in time , time to sleep , to keep the dream alive , till I awoke
and realised you were just a bloke , on the tools , love your channel and your demeanour
You are amazing my Dad and Grandpa were plumbers my self and two brothers are plumbers, You are very kind taking care of the older lady, That was one of the first lessons he taught us , Look after the older people, It’s not all about the money 💰 Congratulations on the new baby, You are not a good plumber 👨🔧 You are a great plumber Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪 Our Sir name is Dunne , If a Dunne can’t do it , It can’t be done 😅😊
You help my depression so much thank you. Ive got a window cleaning business and ive been doing it 15 years now. Pays well but I'm thinking of doing your plumbing course, but im severely dyslexic i wonder if i would be able to do it. Thanks for all the effort you put into these videos and your sesnse of humor to.
My mate Josh is dyslexic and one of the best plumbers I know. Honestly it's no bar if you're prepared to learn mate. Good luck!
I love how you guys keep working on the video format - improving the editing, adding new little bits, new styles, that little section with the prof, hehe. Very awesome! :D
Congratulations, mate!
Thanks so much!
Congratulations to you both. Brilliant news. I became a dad again at 58, 60 next month. Best wishes to you, Emily & your little un.
Hi nice story line and good on you not charging her.
I cannot admire enough on how talented you are. Thanks for the vid and greetings from Poland.
Thank you very much!
Hi James I would just like to say I have been watching your videos for years and I had never even touched water pipes before but thanks to your videos (and others' videos) I have recently reworked my mum & dads bathroom pipework amongst other bathroom remodelling stuffs so thanks pal. Hold tight!
No worries Barry!
Brilliant video
More of these .
And more professor plumb
Professor Plumb needs his own show, or maybe should run some of your plumbing course? Brilliant 😂
Should be more like you bro

Congrats on the baby 🤜🏻
You make a convincing Nonce!😂😂😂
Haha! Thanks? 🤪
James ma man I took a days holiday from being the janitor of the local school & what did I do .. sat in my jammies and watched about 7hrs of your videos & mate you are something else when it comes to plumbing and heating & I come across hunners of plumbers & they are a joke.. I’ve been taught many a plumbing tips and tricks from you.
Well done James.
Ronnie all the way up in Bonnie Scotland 👍🏻
Oh & congrats on becoming a Dad it’s all worth it bud
Cheers Ronnie! Good luck making any jokes up there in a few weeks - you'll be slung in prison! Little man is all good. Adjusting!
Now that's my favourite plumberparts video. Hilarious but informative!
Wow, thanks!
Nice one Jimmy, Congratulations to you and Emily on the birth of your bambino 🤟👍💪
Congratulations on the baby, love the the channel
Hello mate , I'm a fresh newbie. I've been doing my lvl 3 plumbing apprentice for about 2 years now , but due to lack of work and working for agencies that don't care for you at all , I lack so much needed knowledge. Blagging can only get you so far.
I've been set a task by my teacher at college and I can't find any videos that go in enough detail.
I was wondering if us apprentices could get a video of you and a whiteboard going through different types of systems:
Can you start off from the mains out in the road and give us all the fittings that lead up to the boiler and why they are needed , for example pressure reducing , strainers , isolation valves etc
Can you also explain how accumulator systems work and how a double storage tank system works.
Cheers mate.
I am watching any ad that has a "progress bar". I like the idea.
Cheers man!
@@plumberparts i mean you're too charming to skip so ;)
Use some Valsir lubricant on the threads made of plastic. Now it will not drip. It'd be easy to screw and unscrew. You will not need the filter tool if Valsir has been used. 15:40 Valsir goes also in the whole assembly (but not on the brass) threads at 25:56. I have lots of it and is a never-have-enough item. For the amateurs, remove the air from the tube before closing the tube, for the lubricant to remain fresh for longer. DO NOT use a tool for screwing the plastic housing of filters when using Valsir in the plastic threads.
Our wonderful contractor did the hosepipe method amd dumped all the fluid out of he heating system in the garden, only trouble is 8ts an air spurce heatpump so they just illegally don't umped many many litres of anti-freeze out.
Worse they then filled the system back up with neat water.
Every time this company tpuches stiff they make everything worse. Couple years ago they diagnosed an air blockage as a faulty boiler....
Shambles of a company
Another great video James. I Really learn a lot from your channel.
I’m not even a plumber but I love your videos 😂
Thanks!
Well done on the good deed and on the little one (the baby, not your todger)
Most likely the rubber was stuck to the schrader valve internally where it lost air, not letting you now pump up. New vessel required.
that intro had me hyped up, lad!!
Awesome video, more of these please
Thanks! Will do!
Loved you with the old lady ❤❤❤❤
The professor plumb sketch killed me😂
Love your content James. Cheers
brilliant stuff mate..moist on the dance floor lol
😂
Oh, that's right, the saying is "I'm not in it to make a killing, I'm only in it to make a living and help people out", cheers.
17:00 onwards, sounds like you're on helium.
Jeez your pervy physics teacher was disturbingly accurate 😂😂
Tundish drain pipe is far to small. If there was a serious issue with over pressure water will go everywhere
excellent keep em coming 🐼
James... do u ever use the honeywell automatic air vent with the valve built-in to it. They are awesome
Congrats on your young fella coming into the world btw 😊
Seems silly now but I've a question on expansion vessels... Should they be inverted instead of upright?! Do air bubbles get up into the water side of the diaphragm when fitted with hole at the bottom ! 🤔
they can be fitted any orientation.. even sideways...air moves from the bladder to the water chamber.
Great video as usual, you are bonkers!
I have a quick question, my expansion vessel is shot in my boiler and I will fit a remote one for now, i hope the valve survives on the faulty one and water does not start to come out at some stage as don't want to take boiler off wall to get to it! My question is about air in the system, i am a DIY'r so guess some will say leave well alone, however I will fit the vessel myself.
Will air not get trapped in the vessel? or does air in a sealed system get perculated around and find its way to the highest point?
Just thought if air is pushed into the vessel, how will it escape if there is not bleed valve , automatic or manual near it?
Appreciate anyone's feedback
Jase
Why with stopcock you don't need inhibitor?
Funny and interesting......nice one fella
I understood everything you said except about cricket. That English was near impossible for me to understand here in America. Love your channel and congrats on the new baby.
Cheers man!
piss funny. much love from Huddersfield
BLESS HER!
Does the course follow, water supply, water fittings regulation 1999
nice video!
I was just wondering when you say the house had 13 radiators. Do you mean 13 complete radiators or are you classed a type 22 as 2 radiators? Just so myself, a DIYer can look at my expansion vessels.
(Ps, what was the white expansion vessel for in the first half of the.
Hope you are all well, we will look for the telltale bags under your eyes as a new dad.)
What's that white chamber behind you for?
potable water system (white) heating system (red or grey)
I’m glad you didn’t expand on the Ben Kingsley vocabulary! 😂🙊
Fantastic video. So informative.
Question: Ecotec 630, megaflo unvented. The only expansion vessel I have is the one inside the boiler. Megaflo has an internal air gap but I'm always intrigued why my system seems not to need a red or a white one?
Never loses pressure and all working fine btw
You answered your own question. Boilers expansion vessel takes care of the heating side. Cylinders air bubble takes care of the hot water side. The cylinder you see in the video doesn't have an internal air bubble so an external expansion vessel is required.
@@MagicDoughnut well I suppose. It's a 14 rad system and the vessel looks quite small. Anyway, why aren't other systems set up this way. So simple without all that iron. I guess that's what I'm really asking.
Thanks for responding.
Sadiq cant 😂
I am a plumber I need to build my nvq, can I be your apprentice, I've got a level 1 and 2 in technical certificate in plumbing at the end of July level 3 aswell .
Great Don impression 😂
Wohoo congrats!
Worried me a bit. I had a new boiler/system upgrade in 2021 to a Worcester Bosch 30i and teh engineer said teh expansion vessel in teh boiler is not enough and fitted another. Well I have just looked at it and it is 12 L. So how long will that last as you did not specify the age of the failed one? I have 12 rads various sizes and the boiler is a systems as I have kept the HW cylinder with tank in the loft. You certainly have a variety of jobs.
they last from 5-10 years. 12Ltr or 16Ltr vessels are what's normally fitted, higher the better for more rads.

S plan: can run everything same time
Y plan: only one thing at a time
Not really true surely since a three way (Y plan) valve can be mid position?
@@schmuuth_dot_com3202 uuuuuugh is there a simplified definition somewhere, it's the only reason I posted this, to bait out someone who can explain the stupidity to me
Fred Dibnah style
Nice
good man .
now you can get a Scalextric

"we all know how an automatic air vent works"... yep... badly.
4:22 no, Pump Up The Jam, pUMP iT uP
Your trade is a plumb job James! 😂
I hate the tundish design, it should have an extra little pouch so if there's ever been a leak some water would still be inside the pocket to make it obvious.
Funniest guy on the Internet 😂
Professor plumb seems like a weirdo 😂 keep it up!
Sadiq Khant😂
im suprised your van made it home with all that cash in there...ha
You are absolutely whacked ! 👍
Well I couldn't tell whether you was in or out of character !!........Congrats on becoming a father.......poor little sod !
13:10 welcome to the trades. Where 99% of the time spent is exactly spent *NOT* on doing the job itself.. xD
Just remember to teach junior that the correct spelling is REAM, not REEM!
Preserve us from chatty cheery plumbers! I wonder how many perfectly functonal expansion vessels get scrapped every year!
???😂😂😂😂😅
professor plumb omg what a creep. funny tho
Mmm, gas boiler, how quaint... When do we see you converting to heat pump work? It is innevitable, you are still young!
I’ll wait for now. Old dog that I am! 😂
