Don’t complain about other groups requiring logs, just make your own group like this guy. Play the game how you see fit.
how is he wrong? the game is too fucking old to be critical like this...if you have 5 braincells you can kill everyboss. Its freeloot, classic
So why didn't they then? what happened? did you watch it?
@@chuckstieg they dont have brain to play mechanics...it is freeloot even with shit gear IF u play those 2 or 3 mechanics right
@@randomstuff-td1jl Okay, so are you suggesting that you should continue inviting anybody and everybody into pug runs and sometimes the raid just fails because the random people who join "dont have brain to play mechanics" ?
@@chuckstieg No you can be 20% critical not 100%...im just saying to chill tf out because its an 20 y old GAME with 1 button mechanics a 8y old could play. EASY.
Everyone knows that as the content starts to demand more coordination between players it is easier if you join a guild and raid with the same group every lockout. If you want to join a random pug it is pretty obvious that they will request gear, logs and meta classes in order to make it easier and greater chance of success. These ppl that are complaining about pugs asking for all this are ppl that should join a guild lol.
Ziqo is not wrong the people you raid with are just trash, I play most of my raids with randoms but I run them and we don't use mics, we get through there in 1hr 15 latest! The difference is some people don't understand the mechs themselves but get carried through then think that means they know the raid when all it takes is one person to understand the raid and it's easy
i fucked with the setup vibes forreal.
one last point to add ziqo has competed in multiple tournaments and with some of the best players. what's to stop him from saying oh you have never competed you mean you were never in a AWC? oh are u another famous streamer? what's to stop him from using his status and only pulling elite players. he doesn't and if he wanted to he could. fact of the matter is that its a level 40 raid javamonkeyj learn to have fun and get over your logs.
People want to finish the raid. And if he showed anything it was that people are OVER VETTING their raids. He also proved some vetting required. And last but not least no one wants to pug with ppl who put 0 effort into their group content
That's not his point.
He said he's 6/6 main, raidleader and a pumper... hows that not enough?
It's like pugs asking for Cutting Edge for a fckn normal clear in retail because they wanna get carried.
And last two bosses require a lot of coordination and are mechanic checks?
Are you joking?
1 boss is dodge frontal kill eggs and the other boss is click button kill bomb and interrupt.... wow man, so many mechanics lol
Yeah it's pretty easy. So why didn't they kill it though?
@@chuckstieg Because Ziqo scraped the bottom of the barrel.
If he had a raid full of green loggers that cleared it once, he would have easily done it.
But maybe in 55 instead of 45 minutes.
Point is you don't need 99 parsers and I didn't say it was "easy", I said there aren't many mechanics.
@@likilikiki regardless of where you set the bar, if you're a pug RL there's going to have to be a bar set somewhere.
Ziqo proved that if you don't have some sort of vetting process, you're probably going to spend 2hr+ going 5/6, that's really the only thing he "proved" in the video.
For some people, that's totally fine. But for people who want 6/6 with as few wipes as possible, there's going to be a neccesary "interview process" If you have a problem with that, you should really just join a noob-friendly guild.
@@chuckstiegNo lmao, Ziqo proved if you take the worst of the worst you can get to the final boss no issue, But keep ignoring the evidence infront of your dumb face bro.
Anything to justify looking for carries because you know you meed it, Only main reason people ise logs anyway.
@@chuckstieg Are you actually this dumb? Because he went with a bunch of grey parsers. His point was not you can beat it bringing the worst players in SOD, it was that its gotten out of control when even Ziqo cant get a pug spot.
Pugged every single reset, no comms, no consumes, no world buffs and one shot every single boss. people asking for logs and 6/6 and gearscore are cringe af, the content is incredibly easy.
So then why couldn't they kill the final boss and why did it take 2hr+ though?
@@chuckstieg because they gave up after 2 wipes on the last boss. People acting all elitist and superior for this content which is so so easy, its so funny.
@@galbatrox4324 Yeah I don't disagree it's pretty easy,
Just curious, can you provide the logs of you pulling on the first reset without WBs or consumes and 1shotting every boss?
@@chuckstieg No, like i said, pugged them all so no one is logging and im not concerned with parses for content that has 2 mechanics...
@@galbatrox4324 Ah yes another completely believable thing, nobody logging in any of your pugged 1shots.
Well, looks like my hands are tied. You win!
Ziqo just did what yall all should do in these comments. If you don’t care about performing or clearing make a group and take in everyone. Spend 2 hours not clearing what you all scream to be is a piss easy raid. Roll over content and yet groups fail to clear every day. Weird
this vid was cringe. people are just too sweaty in wow
Some people don’t like wasting their time. It really doesn’t matter if it’s my leisure time or professional work. I want maximum efficiency if possible. How you do one thing is how you’ll likely do everything.
i don't understand that mentallity of retail thing to recrute for a raid not even endgame and just because people want to clear fast like wtf i'm the only one that is disapointed by sod because raid are just too quick under 1h you can clear a raid it's sad i missed these night of raid and at least 3h to clear or to reach last or 2 last boss in this time it's so much more fun than just speedrun a raid
Sounds like you should just join a casual guild? if you're pugging, you're playing with the average players. Why do you expect the average players to want the same things you do?
Find a guild that fits your playstyle.
People tend to look at the streamer and believe everything they say and expect that they are very good player. Thank you for calling them out :)
Do you have any idea how good ziqo is? I am not talking about the specific raid. I am just asking if you understand that for 99.999% of the players out there no matter how hard they try they will never reach his skill. There is practice and there is talent and how your brain is wired. Ziqo has everything.
@@konstantinosarvanitis4104Ziqo is very good player. One of the best at the classes he plays regularly. But you can clearly see the logs from this raid and he is gray parsing. That does not sound 99.999% better than other players. That sounds very mediocre. I believe that once he gears up his alt and optimizes him and actually learns how to play him, then he can maybe get good DPS. But this raid? It was disaster and if you don't see that, you are blind I guess :D
@@TormDeltest man what you miss is that if a player like him decides to parse he will evolve 10 times faster than the average person. You think going vs an imaginary foe is hard (it is don’t get me wrong) but try PvP at the highest level and the you will see that measuring your self in pve content is just memorizing mechanics, learn the raid and literally means nothing. I am an average player. I started parsing at 70 and I reached 97. Does this makes me a good player? Nah…
@@konstantinosarvanitis4104 Time and time again I see PVP players flop in PVE. And I don't even raid at that high level in Retail PVE. But we invited many PVP players into our guild hoping that they will be able to learn quickly, adapt and overcome challenges better than non-PVP players. Maybe 1 in 5 so far.
So I respect Ziqo for what he did achieved. But it does not make him a ultimate super-gamer that can crush everybody in all game modes.
And to remain relevant to the video, exactly as the author of the video said - Ziqo totally disproved his point that you don't have to invite above average players to clear Gnomeregan. Ziqo tried and he failed. So there is some reason behind why people are sweaty about inviting people to their runs.
@@TormDeltest my personal experience is that no serious PvP player will invest time for pve. They will get the gear needed and that’s it. But when they invest, a player that is constantly rank 1 will be parsing higher than the majority of common folks with 1/5 the effort. They are wired to play this game. Like I said, hard work will lift you up but without talent you are not going anywhere. That’s why in hight rankings in PvP since tbc you see the same people. Because it’s really hard. On the other hand almost everyone can hight parse with a good group and hard work.
I stopped watching the moment you pulled out the logs.
That's exactly what he says is wrong with people like you, and no, he is not wrong.
And before you call me out a fanboy or anything like that, I have no idea who this ziqo guy is.
BFD/Gnomeregan are called *leveling* raids and they should be treated as such.
No matter what you call them, if you refuse to gearcheck or look at logs while PUGGING, you're much more likely to spend several hours wiping.
If you have a problem with gear checking or looking at logs, find a guild of likeminded individuals. It's really that simple.
@@chuckstiegIt’s way simplier to just not be a sperg who takes CLASSIC leveling content way to seriously.
No, No matter how much you and your sperg friends want to sit here like “oh you go find a guild to match your style”
No.
You spergs go away, It’s way simpler and improves everyones experience.
Go back to retail nerd.
@@chuckstieg
the term leveling raids came straight from the devs, I didn't named them that way.
spoilers: gear check or logs won't prevent wipes.they happen every now and then because mistakes happen no matter how prepared you are.
I am in a guild but this requirements you people are subjecting yourselves are making me wanna puke.
go touch some grass and stop being a tryhard. "it's that simple"
cancer mindset
If you form a gnomer right now without looking at gear or logs at all, you have an incredibly low chance of clearing the instance 6/6 in a timely manner.
People trying to avoid wiping and missing out on loot while pugging have a "cancer" mindset in your opinion? I'd be interested to hear more of your thoughts on this.
@@chuckstiegYes you have a cancer mindset and you are ruining the game, But keep it up, Blizzard deserves to have this game killed by spergs like you.
“I want to get gear”
You’ll get gear, Anyone who uses logs has mental issues.
If you want to skip the Ziqo video and just hear what I have to say about it, pull up 13:08.
Miss the marked by a long way here Java
Image not playing casual game in the most effective way. Everyone who doesn't have 90+ parses is considered bad.
imagine pretending the content is hard when you can get the most scuffed random trade chat group and still go 5/6 . are you classic andys ok ?
oh and they didn't get 6/6 because of a leaver and just normal pug bs .
"normal pug bs" is exactly what people are trying to filter out with "interview questions" wtf do you expect?
@@chuckstieg ?????? don't pug then you join a dedicated group , you know a guild . also busting out logs and interview questions when again the most random scuffed pug group still goes 5/6 is clown behavior like legit brain rot of delulu about the difficulty of the content that requires gatekeeping.
@@crackthecorn You got it backwards, Guilds hold some level of responsibility (usually) to be civil and understanding of new players, unless of course they are marketed as "Hardcore" or w/e.
PUG raid leaders have absolutely ZERO responsibility to hold hands with the new players if they don't want to, and if they find it necessary to gatekeep who joins the raid, so be it.
No matter how easy YOU think the raid is, it doesn't change the fact that a lot of pugs are still wiping and spending hours to ultimately walk away without killing the final Boss. Maybe the average player is just a lot worse than you are? Maybe you're just a God Gamer? It doesn't matter. People are naturally going to do what they can to avoid forming an unsuccessful raid. If you don't like it, join a casual guild.
You missed the whole point of his video and then created your own straw man argument
and lets be honest the point of the video is that he is forming a group where people are telling them no they cant join. u are parsing in a guild ziqo isnt. i think one thing you forgot to mention probably because u were stuck in you're fucken elitist mindset. Was that players said that they had fun. lets see u form a pug and raid lead without a metacomp like he did i mean for christ sake he had a rogue tank. knowing youre mindset you are probaly saying no way in hell my guild would run that. my point is you and the rest of the players having a elitest mindset that need to thrive off logs because its like some kind of status to you guys. You guys just need to get over yourselves. cause at the end of the day the difference between ziqo and you is that he commentates and has had some kind of tie with blizzard he is recognized. where you on the other hand my friend are just some rando making a video about logs. so if u wanna compare his logs that he doesnt know the fights blah blah like any other log checker would. what kind of sponorship do u have? when have u been asked by blizzard to commentate for a AWC? guess its time to check the logs eh?
Kek. Touch grass
you cant shit on ziqo
