Not taking anything away from Miller, and I'm sure Ren is a fan, but he wasn't even born til 1992, and he had a different rap vibe than all these other guys, a great vibe, just not the same, and a whole different era of the genre.

The hook bar was connected to the pirate scheme, I don't think he was talking about throwing a hook(punch). I think it was double- "hook" as in catchy beat and a hook for a hand/Captain Hook...a pirate. Also had "Sales" and "Sails"...there's a bunch of multiples here. BTW- Big props for consistently giving Ren his flowers. Entertaining and honest, it's all we viewers want.
Lot of double entendre in there, he's good. Reminds me of how Em writes and raps. Takes a certain level of intelligence to pull it off without sounding super corny and dumb. This guys not too bad at all.

One of my favorite parts of Ren is his authenticity! He's the same through his music, live streams, interviews, behind the scene videos, and his friends will vouch he's not fake... it's a breath of fresh air in today's society!

This happened in 1989 (same era), the line most hear is "Mike without an earlobe bite." But this makes sense as a double. This is an excerpt from a quote I found from Elo about this very famous shot. He says "and I’m like ET on his bike flying by the moon." So, Mike without an Elo bike" kinda makes sense as it ties into the verse before it. Halftime 3-point hoop, hallelujah. Is everyone so sure that this is all coincidence considering all of the layers, doubles and references already found?
