    after the ending twist, the smoke as in smoke and mirrors to hide who he really is, and the power of his music to detract and even have an effect on the criminal underworld (some humor here), these are all pretty fun ideas but then what. Of course it doesn't have to always go anywhere, just a fun and humorous video once a while is cool. But then what do I say? It's a little funny, he gets a pad on his back for having great voice as an asset that stopped a drug trade. then it's crickets right. Or I can let lose myself and draw some connections here and there. I chose the latter. shrugs.

      As far as I know Dimash, he is also very self-confident and a comedian. When Dimash says "easy" at the end, I remembered a video, an old recording, when Dimash is a guest of a Kazakh show, in which he sings the song OPERA 2. The hosts of the show asked him if he would also sing at Eurovision. In a very funny conversation, Dimash says that there is no problem, that he would definitely win despite everything they told him. It's worth watching that video too, Dimash is still very young and funny.

      @@clarathurston4328 errr? -_- who am I judging and what would I do with what opportunity? and what Jealousy 🤭And isn't your reply judging me? And what insight? It's merely my reaction and ideas, and as stated just having fun with ideas that's probably stretching since this mv doesn't have the gravitas as others.
      And btw you can't judge others to have or not to have insight (which I never said is the goal anyway) unless first and foremost you believe you, yourself have the true insight, otherwise how would you know any one have, or doesn't have the correct insight. And I'm still confused of jealous part, who is jealous of what? Perhaps you are not as insightful on what you commented as you think u are? see I can say that with more authority since it is about what I personally think and your comment is about me.

    I loved your insights that brought a lot to the video that no other reactors have gotten, bringing in aspects of his personal life that may be represented. To me, Dimash is a great role model, always showing the highest integrity and respect, authenticity, passion for peace, and deep feelings and now he's showing us the 007 secret agent role of being calm, cool, and collected regardless the pressure and circumstances. He is such a creative genius, continues to blow my mind, and he likes to keep us guessing, like in When I've Got You! LOL. The last word: "Easy" made such a good impression! Brilliant analysis as always your insights are very interesting and informative. Because of Dimash's extreme level of multifasitive talent combined with his very moral character his has been able to break the international music industry rules. Today he has full control of his music and film career through his own production company. He now is able to fill large arenas and stadiums with his 3hr + solo concerts in pretty much any country on the planet. This is all an incredible achievement by a truly amazing human being. It's going to be very interesting to see just where Dimash decides to take his career, personally I think he will explore big budget movies. It's only a matter of time before he becomes as famous in the West as his hero Michael Jackson.

    I believe you are right on with the underlying meanings of the song and MV. He is very strong with adding deep symbolisms to his songs. There is the simple layer of the undercover agent setting up the drug lord for capture and the secondary one you touched on with your reading of his own struggles being the outsider seen as breaking the rules of the western music world and being the "bad guy". Lovely interpretation. 🤭 Dimash is going undercover to take down the western music moguls and beat them at their own game. (Fly Away lyrics pretty much say the same thing about "no one can control me", etc.) 👍

    • @TPACasual
      @TPACasual  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      I'm just guessing here. While he didn't write the lyrics, it is very unlikely that he just composed the music and go " here do w/e u want with it lyrical wise". A more likely scenario is "here is my vision and message for this solo, for that chorus", you guys do the lyrics, and fine tune the flow of words. I just find it hard to think he didn't have any input to the meaning/message of the songs.

    The composer of this song is Dimash and what the lyricist has put as lyrics is Dimash's idea. The text says nothing about drugs, gangsters and guns. This is just a warning that deep inside everyone lies a different self and sometimes actions can hurt if you are not prepared for them or idealize too much what you see. Fair warning. The video choice is also his, a nod to the Dears, who named him the Pink Panther after seeing him in a pink suit at a concert in China. Of course, the Pink Panther is a caricature of an agent, which goes very well with the idea that what you see is not what it really is, and is a very good cover for an undercover agent. Agent DQ knows his clients very well, he has them around his finger for the time he has been around them undercover, so much so that he tells them the truth with his song, but to them he is just the clown they liked and partied with. So, mission accomplished, in the "easy"est way possible - no shooting, no bloodshed, no drugs changing hands, just divine notes and good vibes. Dimash is always complex, layer after layer, and many are too lazy to peel the onion. He knows that, yet he is bold enough to do it. But those who understand him enjoy every second of his work.
    Thank you for the reaction.

    Dimash is recognized by many as the best male vocal, among female vocalists, many consider the best young singer Diana Ankudinova.
    I recommend making a reaction to one of the best vocalists in the world.

    "It is definitely the most beautiful voice in the world❤"
    1) super unique voice (dramatic contralto with rich polyphonic overtones);
    2) the most complex vocal techniques, a bewitching voice;
    3) Diana sings in 6 languages : English, French, Russian, German, Spanish, Arabic and any musical genre;
    4) incredible charisma, artistry and living of any song;
    5) a vocal range of 4 octaves;
    6) a large army of fans around the world;
    7) an independent artist, without producers and labels, only with the support of fans and reactors like you;
    8) more than 20 thousand reactions (all collected in my playlists).
    The incredible fate of a girl found with a broken collarbone at a bus stop and ended up in an orphanage.

    Sometimes Dimash does things just for fun, he's not always serious with a message. He has an amazing sense of humour and I actually think in this video he's poking fun at himself and some of the things the Dears say about him.
    It's well known in the fandom that Dimash reads the comments in at least one major fan group and because of his tendency to wear extremely fashionable tuxedos and his increased acting skills he's been called 00Dimash for some time.
    Dimash is actually very fond of the west and the US in particular, most of his favourite artists are from the west, he's a huge fan of Eminem for instance.
    The Russian music industry is, if anything, far worse than the western one. Their paparazzi and press far nastier and they will invent something if they can't find anything. Dimash has been accused of some awful things by the Russian press, none of which were true. Their artists also tried to keep him out of the Russian music industry but because of the power and influence of Igor Krutoy, failed miserably.
    The drug culture is rampant worldwide, it's not a western thing, and the one thing that Dimash would never do is criticise a country or culture, whether outright or obliquely. His statement at almost every interview or concert is that there is no bad nation, only bad leaders and that when he sees his Dears at a concert he feels like he is the head of one big family.
    So to put it succinctly, this video is just for fun, he's poking fun at both himself and the Dears in that we wanted agent Dimash and he's going to do what he does best which is distract everyone with his voice.

    “Dimash Qudaibergen has repeatedly said that music has no borders, nationalities and distances.” (DimashNews)
    How can you not fall in love with Dimash when he is a bad boy, of course without socks, in (devilish) red and with sensual movements that make the girls dance for him like on strings (like in the performance video) ... and that voice! It gets into you and you become addicted and just want more Dimash. Even evil gangsters forget everything when listening to Agent DQ's “siren song” and just want to dance. (Official Music Video)
    The song premiere took place on December 23, 2023 at Dimash's STRANGER concert in Hong Kong.

    Excerpts from the DimashNews (DN) interview with music producer Dmytro Gordon (DG):
    DN: Dmytro, for 8 years you have been working alongside Walter Afanasieff in his company WallyWorld as a lead orchestrator and arranger, and you both have also written music for films.
    (Dimash's friend and world-famous American music producer Walter Afanassieff plays a small role in the video: He wears a checked blue shirt over a white shirt, baseball cap and sunglasses and is one of the gangsters who drive up in the car and bring the drugs.)
    What are the similarities and differences between producing music for renowned artists in the US and working with Dimash?
    DG: „I would say that Dimash is much more open to experimentation than any other artist I have had the pleasure of working with so far. When it comes to an established artist with an existing fan base, they and their label are usually very cautious about trying new styles, new vocal techniques or anything that might confuse or alienate their core audience. And that makes sense, but the catch is that after a while their repertoire stagnates.
    Dimash is the bravest artist I know to date: he deeply respects and cares about his dears, but he's not afraid to try new things, which he proves time and time again, including his latest releases. On a personal level, our collaboration has also evolved into a friendship, for which I'm forever grateful. It's much more authentic and fun to make music as friends, rather than just as collaborators. Ask the Beatles.
    SMOKE... is completely modern, even experimental in certain aspects. Yes, it has an operatic vocalise in the choruses, but the context in which we hear it makes it impossible to pigeonhole it into a genre. It's also minimalist and open when it comes to the vocal melodies, harmonic content and instrumental textures (though it's not easy, and Dimash's unique vocal skills still shine through). Every musical decision in Smoke is super precise: take one thing away, and the song falls apart. Add another element - and it becomes oversaturated. That's how I would describe it.
    ... It's such a joy and an incredible privilege to work with Dimash, who I truly consider to be one of the best musicians in human history.
    And then to receive all the love and gratitude from his fan base just feels heavenly. I'm so grateful to everyone who supported these new releases and who took the risk with us to open their hearts and ears to the new, unknown sides of Dimash. As for the new works - I don't want to spoil any surprises yet. But to quote a classic: «Soon!»

    I don't think even Dimash related the lyrics to his personal life. A bit of over analysis IMO with little to say about the production, the beat, the voice, the humor of it all.

    • @TPACasual
      @TPACasual  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      probably but cinematography, there is no ground breaking point here compared to a lot of high end music video. beat and voice has been analyzed 1000 times by other vocal coaches. Music beat itself isn't ground breaking. Story at face value isn't Shakespeare, he going undercover. The humorous part is he is using his singing to delay the transaction. This then becomes a very shallow production.
      So summarize: Vocal, he has done live performances better. Video, there are better MV from a technical point of view. Storyline, undercover agent twist. so then the only thing that make this stand out is some humor? Most people would watch this at the face value you mentioned. result? 3 days and it didn't even match the view number of the trailer to this song. while 10th upload of SoS would be 3m views by now, while this didn't break 200k in 3 days. Ppl simple respond to what they resonate with and when it's shallow, the result / numbers don't lie. Doesn't mean he can't have fun. The next MV could be a really good one.

      @@TPACasual Fun is good. Fun is ok. Fun isn't shallow but there's plenty of shallow stuff out there and it resonates with a hell of a lot of people. Dimash is having good fun and I enjoyed sharing the laugh with that pink suit, the jeweled chest, the maids' posturing, the grandma in the wheelchair. It was fun, it was ok, it was good and I enjoyed it. By your standards that might make me shallow. So be it.

      @@annemarel yeah I think what you said make sense and plays a part. This also speaks to Dimash's music. It's way harder to appeal to a wiser audience, than a catchy tune with nonsensical lyrics that appeals to young ppl these days. So there is a certain maturity to his music in general. A lot of contemporary songs is like contemporary art, you nailed a banana to the wall... that's worth how many million dollars and how? -_- mystery

    • @TPACasual

      @@michelegagne5169 That's a leap of conclusion. IF the only part of this MV that set it apart is that twist, and the twist itself is a simple concept, then by definition it doesn't have much depth. IF the whole or many part of video is generating a positive emotion to you like "fun", then it must have some substance to achieve that, and it then have to have certain depth that tickles your brain. It's also extremely subjective.
      Say I play with my dog and it's fun for me. Am I doing a shallow activity with a less intelligent animal or developing a deep connection from one sentient being to another? I simply said if all aspect: visual, story, vocal (comparing to himself) doesn't have any substance and only part is the twist that's interesting, then this whole thing isn't that solid. But IF you find it to be fun in general, then visual/story etc, must have more value that it served, so it's more valuable and there are some deeper things going on. Often fun has a high correlation with meaning. So.. I never said production is shallow, i said IF... then..., I never said fun is shallow, and I certainly never said if someone enjoys something, that someone has the same depth of that thing she/he enjoys. I mean we can talk all day about this but that's the rough point.

      Хотя это и имеет смысл, такой подход уже не является живой реакцией, а скорее обзором... что совершенно другой контент. Например, таким образом вы видите, как реактор испытывает удивление, так же как и вы, когда смотрели это в первый раз. В этом и есть суть реакции.

    Thank you for your reaction.
    In the last scene, when Agent DQ’s on the telephone, plays “The Pink Panther Theme" , a composition by Henry Mancini written as the theme for the 1963 film The Pink Panther.
    As a kid I loved those funny films about inspector Jacques Clouseau who tries to catch a jewel thief. He stole a priceless diamond known as "The Pink Panther". The diamond was so named because of its pink hue and a shadow in it in the form of a leaping panther.
    The music and the cartoon figure of the opening credits of this film became so popular, that a cartoon TV series was created: The Pink Panther Show. In German he was called Paulchen Panther.
    The Pink Panther theme (fiction and humour) could indicate that this music video is not to be taken too seriously. The possible message on the other hand is quite serious: don't play with fire (=dangerous things like drugs), ready for the smoke (=ready for the consequences your actions will have, for example the police will get you).

    Hello again! I agree. I really see this video as a criticism of the West. But he's not exactly the “good guy” in the sense that sometimes you have to assert yourself more aggressively against the attack you may suffer. As you said, there is indeed criticism, not only of crime for luxury, the lack of morals within the family (when he flirts with the gang leader's wife in front of him), and even the fact that he dresses in pink ( it doesn't look red to me) is an allusion to femininity in modern Western men. It is essentially a caricature of Hollywood itself, where organized crime and immorality abound. The only thing that escapes the filth is the innocence of children. Kind of the same thing you say when you defend his rebellion against the rigged system/rules surrounding celebrities. This really seems to be the objective, otherwise Dimash would be committing “personality suicide”, due to the very aggressive lyrics and risking losing his fans who have always seen him as an upstanding, generous and peaceful person. That's why at the end he shows himself as a secret agent and saves his image. Thanks! bye bye, take care.

      ha i was gonna say the color is actually leaning purple (add white u get pink, add blue/black u get dark violet) nothing wrong with post a humous video here and there. Too bad at face value this doesn't resonate with audience too much. Analytics tells me this is one of the slowest performing video, subscribers simply don't rewatch it or spread it nearly as much as others (don't shoot the messenger) The twist/humor is video pad him on the back for his vocal hypnotism effect. Besides a more fun and relaxed video, (which is fine), it is however, difficult to say which aspect of this video stands out. visual? last MV was better. Vocal, most are better, story? last MV was better. Only thing it has is chill and humor. But that would be a one sentence reaction/analysis If I don't stretch connection out a bit.

    Après avoir écouté plusieurs de tes analyses , des paroles ou clips des chansons de Dimash. Je crois que tes analyses sont de la" masturbation intellectuelle ", tu te fais les questions et les réponses d’après ta propre culture ( préjugés et stéréotypes sur les autres pays) . Le message de Dimash me paraît bien plus simples que tes interprétations .
    A travers la musique réunissons nous : " Aimez vous les un les autres" quelque soit le pays , le continent d’où tu viens , ta religion ou des convictions politiques .....
    Il n’y a pas de bons ou mauvais pays , sur toute la planète il y a des hommes bons et des méchants .
    Quand à Dimash chaque jour sa popularité s’étend un peu plus sur la planète . Normal il est hors système le parcours est plus long , tel est le prix de la liberté. Mais quels progrès depuis 2017 dans l’emission singer en Chine .
    Je crois que c’est ton côté artistique, pourtant en peinture chacun à son interprétation de l’œuvre suivant sa sensibilité non ?

    I don't understand why you decided this is criticism against the West, especially as the parts of the world he comes from have the same, if not worse, problems, especially these days. I think Dimash actually loves the West and the US a lot and wants to make himself a name there. Therefore most of his last songs are in English. I am sure he will return there as soon as he can. He was very happy when he was staying there, it showed. I think he actually loves a lot of things in the US, he loves the freedom and the ability to just have fun like in this MV. The pink suit is of course a reference to the Pink Panther, which he obviously loves very much. I think this song was not a criticism of the West at all, but rather a general statement about music being able to solve issues better than violence and most importantly - just have fun with his creativity.

      criticism against west is a very generalized statement. criticism against a particular aspect of a particular industry is often valid. I do like to clarify by west I mean north America as the center. If western music is based on meritocracy. As in whoever create or sings the best songs, have the most success...then my point is already proven given the fact that he is so famous in other countries like Russia, but pretty much NO ONE, outside some niche bubbles, knows who he is. He has a voice on the level of Whitney Huston yet he is lesser known than your average popular rapper. That's not a point worthy examination and criticism?

      @@TPACasual I was born in Russia. I think you have a very wrong idea about showbusiness there, Dimash's level of popularity there and its level of corruption and conformity to the regime. I don't really want to get into this because sometimes it's better to remain silent. But it's a dead end for Dimash in any case, especially these days, and it is much better for his future to concentrate on the West.

      @@DiaLinwen well if it's at a level that you don't want to get into that's fair. But you can understand why anyone would have the notion i had? I mean look at most dimash's song's comments. You'll find 1 English comment in a sea of Russian comments for most of his videos. This almost never happens for any other artist. Even Russian's got talent is mostly English commenters, but Dimash, mostly Russian. So conclusion is logical but sure, I could be wrong, I never visited in Russia it would be very arrogant for me to say I know anything more than someone with actual experience.

      @@TPACasual I think it's very natural all those stereotypes when people don't really know the other culture. It's just a statement of fact, not criticism. By the way, many Kazakh, Ukrainian and other nationalities' comments are in Russian as well. But also I think you underestimate the number of comments in English and Spanish, and some other languages. I see a lot of those, especially if you arrange the comments in the order of newest first. In any case, I think that all Dimash's actions show that his direction right now is more towards the West (although of course he can't at this point be exclusive in that), and I think he is doing the right thing.

    Меня заинтересовал ваш немного странный анализ и я решила дополнить свой первый комментарий. В своем видеоклипе Smoke, Димаш отлично повеселился, это молодой парень и не может зацикливаться только на трагедиях и проблемах... Посмотрела ваши предыдущие реакции и у меня сложилось впечатление, что вас не трогает ни музыка,ни вокал, ни эмоции. Весь ваш интерес составляют только тексты и визуальное оформление. Я понимаю, что вы художник, и не каждый может чувствовать музыку, которой не всегда нужны слова... Но, тогда зачем вам Димаш? Разбирайте тексты рэперов, которые порой несут всякую чушь, фильмы или философские трактаты. Суть творчества Димаша - это донести свои чувства именно через музыку, а не через слова, которые, к сожалению, многие люди вообще не хотят слышать... А текст песни, на мой взгляд - это, конечно, важный, но не решающий компонент. Для слов существует литература, поэзия и другие жанры словесного искусства. Ведь вы, как художник, понимаете, что не обязательно под картиной даже писать ее название, главное чтобы она воздействовала на человека эмоционально, тем самым транслируя ваши чувства и мысли. Надеюсь, что я не сказала ничего обидного. Привет вам из Беларуси и удачи во всем!
